Chapter 25
The king descended from the throne before carefully approaching vivian but he did not approach it and turned to where Trevas and I were.
"Stop it Vivian, if you don't want our families to be enemies" the king said seriously to Vivian.
Vivian laughed but I knew she wasn't happy because the curve of her smiles didn't reach her eyes. “Do you think I will stop? Now your demon son will inherit everything while my son, our son is missing and no one knows if he will be able to come back to life ”
"Nobody wants this to happen"
“HA! Nobody likes? I'm not a fool Henrick ”said Vivian to the king that I only now knew Henrick's name. “I know from the very beginning that you prayed to all the saints that your son would inherit everything you have and I was fed up with that. I'm tired of squeezing myself and Alastor into you who have no other thought but your demon son and his mother who is even more demonic than him ”
Suddenly my forehead frowned and I knew Trevas was also surprised by what he said. Does that mean she's not Trevas' mother?

"Stop" said the king when he noticed that Vivian could not breathe because of being trapped in the water so I also removed it causing Vivian to kneel on the floor and gasp.
“Is this really what you want? To oppose me instead of accepting all this? ”
Instead of answering, Vivian just laughed before looking up at him. "I'm sorry I agreed to marry you"
"I'm like that too" replied the king who made Vivian laugh but I could see in his eyes that he was hurt by what he said.
"Bring her to the palace chamber too and don't let her escape and make trouble" continued the king before Sergeant Min and Colonel Jay approached Vivian and handcuffed Vivian with the magical handcuffs that would invalidate her power.
"We're not done yet Henrick, we're not done yet" said Vivian before dragging Sergeant Min and Colonel Jay out and Lieutenant Jared followed them after bowing to the king and saluting Trevas so Trevas and Lina were the only three of us left. in the room with the king.
“You too, You can go. I will only ask Lieutenant Jared about what happened in the west ”said the king before signaling us to leave but Trevas did not move from where he was standing so I did not move either because I knew I would get lost here inside the palace otherwise I'm with him and another, I also want to know about what his mother was saying earlier. Or should I say, step mom?
"She's not my mother?" Trevas asked and we both waited for the king's answer. The king was caught in the act before returning to his throne and leaning back.
"You're not supposed to know" he said before looking at us.
"Tell me"
The king sighed before looking at me and Lina. ”Later, I will tell you when we’re alone. For now go back to your courtyard first and take care of what you have to take care of ”
"I want to know now-"
"I said later Trevas, I'll call you when I've taken care of Vivian, I'm sure her family will make trouble" the king sighed again before signaling for us to leave so we did nothing but leave.
I noticed that Trevas was stunned as we walked so I held his arm as we went down the stairs opposite the Palace hall because he might suddenly fall into too much depth of thought.
Trevas turned to me before looking down the stairs.
"Don't fall down the stairs, it's up to Alissa" Lina said laughing as she went down the stairs. I wanted to tweak Lina for what she said but I stopped when I saw Trevas smile.
"I'm sorry, I'm just thinking a lot" Trevas said before going down the stairs and I followed.
Trevas sighed before looking up.
“Why do you look sad? Shouldn't you be happy because you don't have a demonic mother? ” Lina asked making Trevas laugh.
I turned to Trevas and stared at his smiles that I knew he was just faking. I know deep inside him he has so many questions and mixed emotions.
Days passed but the questions not only of Trevas but also of mine were still unanswered. The king was busy because Vivian's family, a princess in another kingdom that is an alliance of Beifang, was making trouble and even I was annoyed because almost every day there were about 20 people coming from the kingdom of Firlame who make trouble when not allowed into the kingdom so the king did nothing but let them in so that no innocent people would be affected.
I gasped as I watched the ten men sent again by the kingdom of Firlame walking into the palace hall to talk to the king again. I was no longer surprised or even surprised because almost every day I see this and even I don’t know what they are talking about inside.
I peeked out the window in the Palace hall to see them but no matter what I peeked I could not hear what they were talking about.
"They want the king to release Vivian" I almost jumped in shock when I heard the familiar voice behind me.
I glared at Luke before I stepped away from him. Luke and Alaric can now roam around the kingdom because apart from performing Infragilis Vow, they haven't made any trouble in recent days so the king has allowed them to get out of the palace chamber.
"Don't you want to know what they're talking about?" Luke asked.
"How did you know?" he opened his mouth to speak again but I preceded him "Don't answer, I don't know"
I walked away and back to the palace garden where I left them Lina, Trevas and Lieutenant Jared. They were sitting in black chairs surrounding another black table where food and tea were served. It is outside the village where the harfin and the fountain and plants are in view.
"The time you spent CR, maybe you saw a handsome-" I looked at Lina when she suddenly stopped talking and stared behind me I saw Trevas was also looking and only Lieutenant Jared remained looking at the paper in front of him that I don't know what is written and why his face is so serious while reading.
I followed their gaze and even I was stopped when I saw Luke some three steps from behind me so I had to look up to see him properly.
"What are you doing here?"
"I said I found a handsome man so it took a while" Lina whispered but everyone heard that so I looked at him badly. He just smiled at me before moving his chair closer to Lieutenant Jared.
I just stared at him before sitting on the chair next to Trevas which was also my seat before I left to go cr.
Six is the total number of seats surrounding the round table. Trevas and Lieutenant Jared were side by side because they were talking about finding Alastor while Lina was to Lieutenant Jared's right while I was to Trevas' left and we were the ones chi-chikahan but at the same time we stopped what we were doing. when Luke sat in the vacant seat next to me.
"Why are you here?" I asked him.
“I want to join your tea party”
"Tea party?" Lina asked laughingly.
"This is not a tea party-"
"Alaric!" suddenly what I was saying was interrupted when Luke called Alaric who was walking nearby. He turned around and looked for who had called him and when he saw us he quickly approached. "Yes, General Luke?"
"Sit down, it's like I have an ally here" Luke said before pouring tea into the cup on the table without the owner.
Alaric sat down next to Lina and I saw Lina move even closer to Lieutenant Jared to stay away from Alaric and I can't blame her. Alaric is still wearing clothes made of animal skin and he still doesn't shave his thick feathers on his arm and chest so I can see that he hasn't taken a bath for a long time but I was almost angry when I saw him. he looked at Lina and winked at her.
"What the f*ck?" "What the f*ck?" Lina and Lieutenant Jared shouted at the same time, causing me to choke on the tea I was drinking and cough.
“What? I just admire the beauty of miss Lina ”said Alaric before smiling at Lina.
Lina stood up and threatened to hit Alaric in the face but Lieutenant Jared suddenly grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away from Alaric before changing their position so Lieutenant Jared was next to Alaric.
"Sup bro, do you want me to admire you too?" Alaric asked Lieutenant Jared causing me to choke on my tea again and laugh out loud. Trevas handed me a black handkerchief to wipe my face and hands.
"Thanks" I said but Trevas didn't say a word so I turned to him and saw him looking at Luke who was also looking back at him before shrugging his shoulders and turning his gaze to Alaric and talking.
"As I was saying before before we were disturbed by these" Introduction by Lieutenant Jared. "Trevas' men have already sent a letter ordering him to find Alastor because the one there did not say where they took him." Lieutenant Jared
