Aurora looked at her reflection in the mirror. She looked very different from her usual shabby dressing. It's been a long time she dressed like this. She was putting on a red body hug gown that showed her outlined hips and curves. A little breast cleavage lay teasingly with a deep cut at the front of the gown.
She really don't like to dress like this but her aunt bought it specially for her. She said she wants her niece to be the spotlight alongside her son. If not that they are blood related, Aurora might have thought her aunt was pairing her up with his son.
Aurora's mother finished the touching by applying makeup on her face. Though she hate to admit it but she did look beautiful and alluring. Her lips were red like a drip of red wine and her eyes shone like two starlight in the dark. Her hair fell down but was pinned by both sides with some strands left to linger on her forehead She wondered why her mother would go all out to fix her face like that.
"Sister, you look so beautiful", Maya gasped at her sister's new look
"Isn't she? Your sister is definitely an angel", her mother chipped in.
"Mother, it isn't my birthday, yet am dolled up like this. Is there something you guys are not telling me?", Aurora asked with her hands on her waist.
"Sister, momma and Aunt Clara said they wish you find your mate", Maya said with a grin.
"Mother!"
"Maya! You are such blabbermouth", their mother scolded as she turned to Aurora smiling sheepishly.
"Mother I have told you I don't want a mate!", Aurora said looking at his mother.
"There's no harm in trying. You might want to be with him afterwards", her mother tried to persuade her.
Aurora sighed. She knows her mother would definitely take advantage of her. She shouldn't have promised her mother.
"Okay Mom, but don't interfere. I have the right to reject him. Don't interfere or else I will just pack my things and leave", Aurora threatened.
"I promise I won't interfere", her mother said with a smile.
"Come on Maya, let's get you dressed like a princess", Aurora said holding her sister's hand.
They went into her sister's room. It was painted with Pink and a touch of white. Her clothes were strewn all over the bed. It's obvious she had been trying to pick her dress. Aunt Clara bought more than ten dresses and pairs of shoes for her yesterday. She must be stinking rich.
Aunt Clara even brought a package for them saying their father left it for them. They were so surprised when they saw credit cards and some land documents.
Aurora would be going to the bank the next day to check the amount.
"Sister, which dress should I put on?", Maya asked bringing her out from her reverie.
She looked at the dresses and pick the one with same color as her gown. It has a white flowery design.
"Here, let's go with this. We will look like twins", Aurora said with a smile.
Maya smiled broadly as she hug her sister", You are the best sister in the world. I love you, Rora".
"And you are the cutest and prettiest Princess in the whole world and I love you so much, Maya", Aurora said as she kissed her sister's cheek.
Their mother watched them as tears dropped from her eyes. She hoped for nothing more.

JAX'S MANSION
Alpha Jax sat down leisurely in his room. It was almost time to go for the ceremony. He was dressed in a black tuxedo and pants. His aura exudes dominance and elegance. He looked masculine yet arrogant. He looks so handsome and attractive.
Alpha Jax looked bored and a little pissed off. He is becoming restless these days. He doesn't know why but every single thing pisses him off. Maybe it's due to the pressure these days. The office, his uncle's nagging and the spies around his territory. After the acceptance ceremony, he would make sure to wipe out all problems and take a long vacation.
Just as he was in deep thought, Beta Rufus walked in with some documents in his hands. Alpha Jax rolled his eyes. He even have to work on the day of ceremony. So boring.
He took the documents and scanned through it before he would sign.
"Any leads on the girl?", Alpha Jax asked as he focused on reading the documents.
"It's like she vanished into thin air. I can't seem to track her down. I sent spies to all the neighboring packs. Am yet to get any vital information", Beta Rufus said.
Alpha Jax nodded his head and handed the documents back to his Beta.
"Get the car ready. Let's go for the ceremony", Alpha Jax said.
"Everything is ready including the security", Beta Rufus said.
"I don't need the security. It's just around the corner", Alpha Jax said walking past his Beta.
Beta Rufus sighed and decided to station them secretly. They can't afford to lower their security.

The Pack's squares were filled with different persons. Beauty. Class. And ladies trying to outdo one another. They are here because they heard the Alpha would attend this year's attendance ceremony and even Mason's birthday party. He is the most eligible bachelor in town. Every lady wishes to be Luna.
They all dolled up with different styles. They wished he could just choose one of them as his mate or Luna. They don't even mind being a mistress.
After some few minutes, there was total silence as a man clad in black tuxedo and pants walked in majestically with the aura of a mini god. Alpha Jax was flocked around by his Beta and Gamma. He looked stern yet attractive. The girls were drooling over him. They wished to be by his side.
But no one dares to come close. No one but Jasmine who swayed her hips around, stealing glances at him. Though she was some inches away from him, it was enough to earn the envious looks from the girls around.
The ceremony began officially. There were about twenty healthy boys who were to be accepted. Though they looked young, they exuded the air of trained warriors. They had been selected to join the Alpha's army. It was a rare privilege.
Alpha Jax stood up and performed the Royal cleansing and admittance. The boys all held up sharp swords and cut their palms. They squeeze the blood into a ceremonial cup held by the Gamma. After they had all dropped their blood into the ceremonial cup, they bandaged their hands and knelt before the Alpha.
They swore allegiance to the Alpha as each of them recited the Pack's pledge before the Alpha. Alpha Jax stood up and dipped his hands into the ceremonial cup and touched their foreheads each with the blood.
That signifies their acceptance. The Alpha howled loudly followed by his Beta and Gamma. Then the new recruits howled loudly as they filled the hair with joyful howls.
It was time to go to Mason's birthday party. Mason immediately left to arrange for the Alpha after hugging his companions. The recruits hug each other as they looked happy and joyful. Alpha Jax congratulated the new recruits and gave them some advice before leaving for the birthday party.

BIRTHDAY VENUE
The birthday venue was already booming when Alpha Jax entered. He made a detour to check on his uncle who was sick. After making sure his uncle was well taken off, he placed him under the Butler's care before leaving for the birthday.
The host rushed up to welcome him and led him to a special place. He sat down nonchalantly. A wine was placed before him. Alpha Jax beckoned on Jasmine to sit close to him.
Alpha Jax was ready to accept any woman. His uncle was getting old and frail and keeps nagging him. He was ready to take any woman now. Just to appease his uncle. Jasmine was not bad. He might give her a try.
Jasmine walked up to him like a peacock as he looked at the girls around with arrogance. She sat very close to him and placed her hands on his muscular chest.
Suddenly there were whispers and awe sound in the big hall as a beautiful woman clad in a sexy red dress and ponytail hair walked in elegantly holding a little girl and an elderly woman.
They have never seen her before nor the woman and little girl. They must be new in town. The woman was looking breathtaking and a unique smile was plastered on her face.
Mrs Clara went up to them with a big smile plastered on her face. The little girl looks a lot like Mrs Clara. Who were these people?
Alpha Jax suddenly felt the air around him stiffened as he perceived a unique scent from someone. He removed Jasmine's hands from his chest.
His wolf became restless as he tried to come out. He had to restrain it with all his might.
"Easy buddy", he cautioned his mate but it kept screaming inside his head.
Mate.
He looked up but what he saw shook him like a thunderbolt.
There was a girl in red. She was his mate and…the thief?
What the heck? Is the moon goddess playing with him?
