Silva's POV
I woke up from my unconsciousness with a pounding in my head. Groaning, I grabbed my aching skull. Devin hit me so badly I passed out, and I'm a werewolf. But how hard he had struck, I could clearly feel in my throbbing head.
"Silva, Silva, Silva. What am I going to do with you?" a voice asked. I actually knew it, but the way Devin was talking made him sound like a psychopath again.
Well... Creepy psycho doctor is more like it, because when I opened my eyes he was standing in front of me with a white doctor's coat. I couldn't really classify my feelings at that moment. On the one hand, I was terrified of what he might do to me next. But on the other hand, I was incredibly angry that my mate and I broke up again and he was responsible for it like last time.
"What do you want from me?" was the first thing I said. Only then did I look around the room. I was lying on a white couch in a sterile room. Everything was reminiscent of a doctor's office. "Wait, where am I?" Because this room didn't look a bit familiar to me.
"Everything is fine, dearest Silva." That was by no means an answer to my question. But instead of answering my questions, he stepped closer to me and ran his disgusting hand over my stomach. "Soon there will be my puppies grow."
"Can you forget!" I told him with so much disgust in my voice. I wanted to push him away, but then I realized that my hands are tied at my sides. What is he going to do with me? Become his puppies I'll never have a baby in my life. The only one I want to have kids with is my mate, and only my mate.
When Devin saw my eyes on the shackles, he started to grin dirty. "Don't worry, princess. i will not rape you I'd rather wait for the next full moon, then you'll beg me to finally fuck you." With these last words he left the room and closed the door behind him.
Bah, like I'd ever willingly sleep with him. Where does he dream of at night? Steven would find me first and free me. I mean have you looked at him? He tears Devin apart in the air. Okay, although I have to admit that Devin might be stronger at the moment, but if Steven keeps training every day, the werewolf genes should make him look like a god in a few days. He would set me free, I was sure of that. It will come sooner or later, although I would of course much prefer it to be sooner.
My mind kept drifting to Steven that I didn't even notice men entering the room.
"There she is," said a completely unfamiliar voice, snapping me out of my thoughts. So I turned my head in that direction and could make out three tattooed men who looked like closets, they were so wide.
"The boss wants to see her," said a bald man with a full beard. He came towards me and I prepared to defend myself if necessary. But before he could untie my bonds, the third member of the group stopped him.
"Wait you idiot. She's a werewolf.", said the black-haired one with also a full beard, which, in contrast to the bald head, looked completely unkempt. Only then did I sniff the air and noticed that all three were human.
So there are more people who know about werewolves??? I thought Luna Aurelia was an exception. But what are you going to do with me now? It's definitely not going to be good...
"Here, that should calm you down," said the one who spoke at the beginning. He had short, shaved brown hair and a three-day beard. He gave the black-haired man a syringe.
"What... what is that?" I wanted to know immediately. Because the content is definitely not good. So I started to slide around restlessly on the couch, but I couldn't get any further away from them.
"This, my dear, is a wolfsbane mixture. But don't worry, the amount is so small that you won't die from it. However, it weakens you and paralyzes you a bit.", the brown-haired one said again.
"Please don't!" I begged her. I'd only accidentally come into contact with wolfsbane once so far, and it wasn't exactly nice. I tried to keep tugging at the handcuffs, but they were way too tight and they were giving Just don't follow. That's for milking mice. Fate just doesn't mean it well for me. All I ever wanted was to be happy with my mate, but instead I've been kidnapped by a psychopath and some weird people.
The black haired one came closer to me and squirted the stuff right down my throat. I tried to defend myself and kick my feet, but my head was still pounding.
After feeding me everything, they untied my handcuffs and pulled me to my feet. The wolfsbane then showed its effect immediately, so that I felt completely drained and unable to move. Actually, I would have fallen over again immediately if the guys hadn't roughly grabbed my arms. Bald guy on the left and the black haired guy on the right. So she took me out of the room. I tried to move my legs, but due to the paralysis, walking was more like stumbling, so I gave up and just let my legs drag on the floor.
The hallway was very different than expected. The wall was paneled with wood and the floor was also made of wood. But what was really frightening were the many stuffed wolf heads on the wall, which stretched across the entire hallway.
How did I end up in a place like this? How could Jaxon allow such a thing? He said that Devin takes care of me. In the end I also end up as a stuffed animal on the wall.
The three men led me to large double doors, which they then pushed open. Arriving behind this door, they pushed me forward so that I was on all fours, making acquaintance with the ground. I was still able to move very little, but managed to catch myself with my hands.
Then I looked up. Directly in front of me sat an elderly gentleman with gray greasy shoulder length hair at a large wooden desk looking down at me condescendingly. This man struck me as even scarier than the other three guys.
"So this is your sweetheart?" the man asked contemptuously. But the question was not directed at me, but at Devin. He was standing at a window on the left, with his back to me. He no longer wore the doctor's kit from earlier Luckily, because he made him look like a sick doctor and I'm really not into doctor games.
At the man's question, he turned and gave me the same patronizing look that the older man does. The man was clearly having mood swings. One moment he's talking about siring puppies with me and the next he's as cold as a rock.
"She's pretty and strong, just a little lacking in smarts," he said as if I wasn't crouching right next to him. "
"What?" I asked in a weak voice, the wolfsbane still nagging at me. But I couldn't make sense of his last words. How was he going to make alphas out of our children? Has he completely lost his mind now? And what is this all about? I'm starting to not understand anymore. All I want is to go home to Steven.
The men around me started to laugh and a grin formed on Devin's face, which I wanted to smack out of his face.
"We are hunters, love. And you're part of our plan from now on," said the old man who seemed to be in charge.
