Sorry MATE, Engagement Canceled Chapter 105

Chapter 105 ***20 YEARS AGO*** It was a few days before the cardinal conference, and 3-year-old Miranda was excited to go for her first joint cub training on the common ground. She'd been dropped off by her father, alpha Luther that morning before he left to attend to other matters that needed his calling. During this time, the 12 tribes were still together, and the rogue wars had never been expected. There and then, little Miranda got to meet the silver prince, Damian for the first time. After being dropped off by his parents for joint cub training, Little Damian was headed to his group before spotting a little girl crying under the trees, she looked so sad, he wondered why she was there. He could see his group mates from afar, they were already gathered and would begin with the instructors soon. He decided to take a few minutes before then to speak with her. He then walked up to her, "hello." Miranda sniffed, looking up to see a young boy, far older than her, staring at her. "Who... who are you?" She asked. He held out his hand to her, "I'm Damian, prince Damian of the silver tribe. Why are you crying here?" He was a stranger, daddy always warned never to talk to strangers, but then he looked friendly, maybe he could help her. Sniffs, "T-the other kids in my group, they were laughing at me..." He was puzzled, "laughing? But why would they be?" "They were laughing at my pack, saying it's so small... so weak, and because I'm a girl, they think I'll be weak too." "What pack are you from?" "I'm from the Lotus pack." Lotus. He's heard of that tribe before. Very few cubs train from there, and majority of them always get bullied by their group peers. This poor cub must be one of them. "Do you mind if I sit with you for a bit?" He asked. Of course not. Miranda didn't mind at all, in fact she could really use some company, she thought as she moved a bit to create a space for him on the rock she was sitting. He then took his seat beside her. "Is this your first day of training?" She nodded, "yes." No wonder. He thought he hasn't seen her here before. "I'm in the senior class now. This is my final stage of training, and I'm one of the strongest wolves on the field," he boasted. "Woah!! That's so cool. I'm sure the other cubs would never try to laugh at you." "Of course, they wouldn't try to, and I'll make sure they won't do the same with you too." Her eyes shone, "really?" "Yes, I'll defend you whenever they try to bully you, all you need to do is just call me and I'll be there. I won't let anyone hurt you again, as long as I'm here." "Thank you so much!" She beamed, cheering up, "now I can face my group mates without being scared anymore." He smiled, "yes, you can." Next, they heard the voice of the head instructor, calling, "Alright everyone, gather around. Training is about to start. Gather around on the fields now." The two new friends had to end their conversation then, as Miranda ran off confidently to her junior group, her shoulders raised high without any fear occupying her mind anymore. Damian got up too, but then his leg felt something on the ground. He picked it up to see it was a beautiful bracelet. It must have belonged to her... the girl.... um... he didn't even get to ask her name. Oh well, guess he'll just have to hold on to it and give to her after training, he thought as he put it into his pocket and hurried to the field. Training ended that day, but then he never got the chance to return the bracelet nor speak to her again, as his parents picked him up early from the training ground in preparation for the cardinal conference. It was important for him because it was meant to be his first conference. As he left with mum and dad, he figured that he'll just hold onto the ornament and return it on the next day of joint training after the conference, but that day never came. ********** Damian was astonished. Of course, he remembered. "You... you were her?" She nodded, "yes, I was the one you promised to protect that day." "But ... Why didn't you say something about it before now?" "I remembered everything that happened that day, but I wasn't sure that you would, nor did I think it was relevant." "Oh, Miranda. Why did you think something like that?" "I don't know... probably because you told me it wasn't, you told me to throw away this bracelet." Sighs, "you're right. I'm sorry I said that, but that's because I had no clue that it would turn out to be you." "Now you do, now you know that I was the one you met those years ago, before the tragedy." "Yes, now I know." "So, what are you going to do about it?" He grabbed her naked body then, continuing his trail of kisses, "you know... I missed that young cub then... and you know what else?" "Oh..." she could already feel herself dripping again. "What else?" "That little beautiful young cub, turned out to be my first crush.... During the war, I was devastated that I'd never get to see her again... I missed her so much, that I held onto her small bracelet so I'd always remember her." Those words touched her, "now look at what fate has done. That not-so-young anymore cub is now on your bed, she's now your wife." He grabbed her breasts, squeezing lightly, she squirmed, "true. That young beautiful cub isn't so young anymore, she's now my wife, and do you know what else I want to do to that young cub right now?" She already knew, but still wanted to him to say it. "What... do you want to do to me now?" She moaned. He didn't say it in words, only began to let his actions do the talking.
