~Ever~
I feel myself losing. I want to stay awake. 'Let me stay awake', I tell myself. Just let me stay awake.
The door opens with a bang but I can't find the energy to jump. I weakly lift my head up. I see a huge smile on his face as he walks fast inside. "Ah, he's here!" He laughs. "I feel like a little boy getting something he wants." He laughs as his smile grows bigger. "I have my men bringing them up here, but with Ricardo. So, we'll see a blood bath first and hen him dying last. Sounds like a plan?" He says as he stops in front of me. I don't say anything but stare at him.
'I rather see you in that blood bath.' I tell myself.
"Okay. Okay. Let me get set." He laughs. "Ahh this is too funny, I don't know why." He says still laughing as he walks behind me. I feel his clammy hands clamp around my shoulders and pulls me back till my back is straight on the chair. "No men likes slouching." He says.
I can't feel my legs. They completely lost feeling. The holes were still deep with dark red in them, but the blood around the wound has stain my skin from it drying up. I stare at the open door and wait. I can't do anything really. Scream? What the point in that? Nothing is happening to me. Just scream to lose all my energy, ha. What's the use of that?
His finger nails were bitting my shoulders but I guess I didn't mind. A few minutes past and finally I heard men grumbling words but I couldn't understand them because they were hushed. Five men walked through then door first, then four. But I only knew those four. Vincenzo, Edward, Ricardo, and Leo. Then after them were five more men. They were out numbered.
I felt my heart pick up when I made eye contact with Vincenzo's green eyes. His expression didn't change. It was blank with his jaw clenched tightly, as his arms were pulled behind him. They walked inside and one of the men closed the door and they all stood there in silence. His fingers tighten slight around my shoulders, and I knew he was somewhat intimidated by Vincenzo.
"Finally found me." I heard the smirk in his voice.
He didn't say anything in response but just stood there letting them hurt his arms as he watched me. His eyes never left mine when they walked in, and I couldn't look away from them either.
"Well- technically you didn't. I just got bored so I gave you my location." He laughed. I felt one of his hands leave my shoulder and then the other as he walked around me and stood in front of me, blocking me from looking at Vincenzo's eyes.
Seconds past and still, none of them said anything. "Look. Vincenzo. You suck. Like come on. You're a top mafia group growing, and yet it took you months. Months! To even find me-"
"I'm no hit men. I'm a mafia boss. I have connections. I have locations. I own businesses. I don't waste my time tracking down one guy." He said. Hearing his voice brought me comfort. It's was deep and strong. It can bring any woman to their knees, even men.
"A mafia boss should know how to do both." Vlad hissed. "Anyway. I'll like to see this carry on faster, so, I already thanked him for bringing Mai-"
"That's the last time you're going to say her name like that before I cut your tongue out." Vincenzo threaten.
He stepped aside showing me to them again as he looked at me. "Mai." I saw him smirked as he winked at me and then back to him. I saw a little lunge forward from him but he was held back. "Anyway, you're making me get off track. Anyway, so. When you guys were too busy trying to find me at the bait location, I paid someone good money to bring me her-"
Ricardo broke himself out of their arms and lunged towards Vlad. The men that walked in front first were at the sides and they were taken by surprised because the men holding them from behind were big and bulky. My mouth open slightly as I saw Ricardo land a punch to the side of Vlads' temple. After that slight second, everyone broke lose and started to fight. All I did was watch weakly. My vision was growing blurry and it was getting harder and harder for me to keep my head up.
Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I left my head fall and my shoulders sagged. My body hunched forward and I stared at my thighs with hooded eyes. My vision was going back and forth in forces and blurry. If my hands weren't tied behind the chair, I would've fell forward on my face, and I wouldn't even care. That's how bad I grew weak. I couldn't hear anything for awhile but when I heard bangs, I knew someone pulled out their gun. And I only know one person with a gun right now. And I'm praying that he's not the one holding the gun.
I tried to pick up head, but I can't. Bang after bang and I was counting.
Only three went off.
Fourteen men walked in. Fifteen including Vlad. Subtract three you got twelve left.
I felt myself having a harder time to breathe. I was sucking in as much of air as I can but it seems like I'm barely getting. Tears was welding my eyes and more bangs went off. I needed to see, I forced myself to look up and I stopped breathing.
Bodies were on the floor and blood was pooling from underneath them, but when I saw Edward trying so hard to stay standing as he holds his side as he points the gun at one of the men in front of him, he falls on his knees and starts to cough up blood, but the other guy shoots him directly in the middle of his eyes.
I couldn't scream. My mouth was open, but nothing came out. Ricardo was in front of me on the ground with his jaw busted open from a bullet wound with his staring directly at me, soulless.
Two men was standing from the group, but it wasn't the ones that I wanted alive. I looked to my side and I see Vincenzo.
He's tries rushing towards me but he's limping badly. He tries so hard but as soon as he gets close to me, that's when I heard another bang.
The bullet going straight through his head. From the back to the front. Splitting his forehead open. Blood splattering over me.
He falls on his knees with his eyes open as so his mouth. He falls forward with a smack against the floor. Behind him was Vlad with blood over his face and wounds all over his face but he had a smirk.
And that's when I scream and everything turns black.
