Tatiana Kamerie
I walked into my new apartment and threw myself to the sofa. I looked up to the ceiling and plugged my earphone into my ear. I played Open Arms by Boyz II Men and closed my eyes.
Suddenly my phone rang and I picked up.
"Hey." It's Crystal.
"Hey.."
"Where are you?"
"My apartment."
"Okay cool! I bought pizza and ice creams.. let's watch a lot of movies." She said and I chuckled.
"Okay."
"See you in 7 minutes." She said and then she ended the call. I got up from my seat and walked towards the fridge. I took out a lot of beer and started to open one. I sat down on the floor and turned on the TV.
I turned my head to look for my bag and it's on the sofa. I tried to reach for it by pulling the strap. It fell to the floor making all the things inside it came out. I cursed mysef for it. I put somethings back and my eyes landed on the photos of me and Ian. I looked at it and can't help but cry again.
"Gosh.. I miss you." I took my phone and looked for Ian's number on my contact list. I put my phone down and sighed. I took my can of beer and drank it all at once.
The door bell rang and I got up and walked to the door. I opened it and it's Crystal.
"Hey I- You were crying?" She asked and I nodded. She dropped everything and hugged me. She patted my back and I kept crying.
"Hey.. I'm here." She said and I nodded. She wiped my tears and gestured me to sit down. She brought the pizza along the ice cream. I looked at it blankly and I turned to the side to pick up the photo from earlier. I looked at it and put it down again. I wiped my tears.
"You miss him huh?" Crystal asked.
"Yeah. I miss him a lot." I said and she nodded weakly.
"I'm sorry about your dad." Today the judge decided that my dad will be prison for 60 years. I'm not complaining about it because he's wrong. I heard about everything and he's an evil man. He corrupted a lot.. he killed 12 people.. he manipulated a lot of people for his own sake.. he deserves it.
"Yeah.. it's okay." I smiled a little and she gave me a slice of pizza.
"Crystal. Do you know when Ian and Pamela will get married?" I asked as I turned my head to her. She put down the pizza and she sighed.
"Tatiana.. why do you think he's with Pamela?"
"She's more pretty.. she's amazing.. she has a beautiful body. He even went away for 2 months just to be with her." I said in a small tone.
"Tatiana, he's in New York all the time." She said and I looked at her disbelief.
"What?"
"He never left or even had an affair with Pamela. He did that just to make you leave him." Crystal sighed and she looked at me seriously suddenly.
"He thinks that he will hurt you once you know that your dad was the one who killed his parents." She said as she held my hand. I sighed and pulled her into a hug.
"Give him a little bit more time, he'll come around." She said as she patted my back.
"I miss him, it kills me."
"I know. I know how it feels." Crystal said and I remembered that Lucas left her for 3 fucking years. At least, Ian's here. He's in New York.
"Hey.. let's not be sad." She said as she released the hug. She gave me the pizza and I tried to smile.
"I want to hear his voice." I said and sighed. I tried to bite my pizza but.. I don't really have the appetite to eat right now.
"Did he think that.. I will hate him after he took my dad down?" I asked as I started to realize something.
"Yeah."
"Why would he think of that? I know the fact he didn't set Eric up but I never thought he will play this far. I found out about Eric like a month ago and I decided not to talk about it." I said and sighed. Why did I just realize everything now?
I took my phone out and looked at his name on the screen. I still save him as Deandre instead of Ian.
"He thinks that you're going to get hurt. He doesn't want that because he basicly van't predict the future. He said he might lose control and end up killing your dad which will not be good for you."
"My dad is a sick man. He deserves it."
"So what are you going to do with Deandre?"
"Maybe give him a little bit of time." I said as I leaned back.
"He asked Lucas to.. promise him that Lucas and me will watch you and take care of you after you and him divorce. He cares."
"But he doesn't love me. He just played. I know it's dumb for me to.. you know feel this and decided to give him all my love and everything."
"It's not dumb. It's love, Tatiana. You're dumb in a good way."
"Maybe he needs time.. a little bit of time."
"I'm glad that Eric is going to jail too. He's a crazy man."
"Yeah.. Just like my dad. He wanted to ruin my dad when my dad is trying to ruin somebody else."
"You know.. Call me if you need something. I can stay here if you want." She said and I turned to her shaking my head.
"Lucas will kill me, he needs his wife."
"Yeah right." She rolled her eyes. I turned my head to my bag and looked at another photos of me and Deandre together.
"Can you give this to him?" I asked as I gave the photos to Crystal.
"Yeah."
"Tell him.. to take care of himself." I said and Crystal nodded.
