I looked at myself at the mirror once again to check my outfit for the runway. I turned to see Joan and Kayle joining this fashion show too which is very exciting. Crystal was the one who introduced me to them and they're awesome.
"Do I look okay?" Kayla asked.
"You look fantastic." I smiled.
"Man.. I'm always nervous when Andrew's watching. I feel like highschool all over again." Kayla said and I chuckled.
"That's love.. I guess."
"Oh come on.. Deandre is here too, aren't you nervous?" That made my eyes widen and I turned to her disbelief.
"He's here?" I asked and she looked at me blinking a few times.
"Oh shit! That was supposed to be a surprise huh? Oh shit! Sorry T." Kayla said and I shook my head.
"No.. no.. It's okay." I smiled and calmed her down.
"Ladies.. Line up.. we will start in 2 minutes!" One of the staff said. We all lined up in our places until it's show time. I walked out to the runway and walked confidently. My eyes focused on the runway so I won't trip. My eyes saw Andrew or should I say Kayla's husband. Why can't I find Deandre?
I kept walking and the last walk before going into the backstage.. I saw Deandre. He was smiling and silently clapping his hand. I can't help but plastered a really big smile.
I walked into the backstage with a big smile on my face. I quickly changed into my other clothes and lined up again.
"Hey.. Goodluck." Joan said as she saw me. She ran away before I can even answer. She needs to change her clothes like pronto. I gulped nervously and walked out again to the runway with a different clothing.
I walked and then posed and then walked again and then posed and then walked towards the backstage again. I'm completely thrilled and happy to see Deandre there. After we're done.. we walked out from the last time to finish it. I saw Deandre clapping his hands and then he smiled at me.
I walked to the backstage to change my clothes quickly. I walked out to find Deandre but as I looked around I couldn't find him.
"Do you see Deandre?" I asked Nate and Andrew but the both of them shook their heads. I sighed and then I walked out from the venue to find Deandre. Where is he?
"Looking for me?" I turned my body and found Deandre standing there with his hands inside his pocket. I can't help but put a smile on my face. I walked to him and slowly slipped my arms around his hips.
"What?" He asked.
"Thankyou." I said.
"I didn't do anything." He said and I just hugged him tightly. He doesn't know how just sitting there means a lot to me. He went to see my runway 2 times even Eric can't spare time for me. Deandre is much busier than Eric but he can spare time for me. Gosh.
"Let's go have dinner together tonight." I said as I looked up to him.
"I'm going to Milan now." He said and I sighed nodding. I released the hug and he just patted my head. His car came right beside us and I gestured him to go. He looked at me one last time and then he got into the car. He left after that.
"Hey.. let's get ready for the after party." My friend Patty said and I shook my head.
"I don't feel really well.. I'll just go straight home." I said and she nodded. I walked back inside and changed into my casual clothes. I took off all the makeup and told my manager that I want to be alone for a while.
I walked towards the mall near the runway place and just strolled around. I looked for clothes.. shoes.. food.. and just entertain myself. Suddenly my phone rang and I took it out of my bag. It's Eric.
"Hey baby, where are you?" He asked.
"Just finished my runway, why?"
"Do you want to eat dinner together?" He asked.
"We have an after party." I lied. Usually I love hanging out with Eric since you know we dated before but now I don't feel like being with him. I want to hangout with Deandre even though sometimes he's cold and sarcastic but I feel like being Deandre is more meaningful than being with Eric.
"Oh.. how about I go to your house and let's have ice cream together later on?"
"I'm tired. I want to go straight to bed." I lied again.
"Okay then.. we can meet another time." He said and I ended the call. I decided to call Deandre.
"Please pick up.. please pick up." I said.
"What?" He picked up in a not-so-welcome tone.
"Where are you?"
"On my way to the airport."
"Can I join you?" I asked and I know that came out of nowhere.
"I'm going there for work."
"I know.. I won't bother you when you're working. I just.. I just.."
"Be quick." He ended the call and I stopped a taxi right away. He texted me which section of the airport he is in. Thank God the airport is just 25 minutes away which is good.
I'm so excited..
Wait.. what am I excited for? Milan or the fact that I'm with Deandre? Which one?
These days, Deande does.. make a big role in my life. He might not be that romantic, sweet and my type that kind of guy but he always surprise me in everyway. I don't know but being with him for almost 3 months.. just mind blowing.
Every little things that.. he cares about does give a really big impact for me. Little that he knows that I'm starting to see him more and thinking about Eric lesser and lesser than before.
I wonder what Deandre thinks about me?
