CHAPTER THIRTEEN
"A witch?" The vampire screeched as soon as the witch stood in front of him with her eyes flashing in silver. "A witch—"
Before the guard could scream, he was lifted up in the air and within a second of controlling his body, the spell immediately took over his body. The other guard was killed with just a snap of his neck without the witch even trying. He was killed in an instant even if the witch was still a few meters away from the dungeons.
When the guard has the witch's spell consumed in his body, he landed on ground so gently before immediately bowing. "Welcome, My Queen."
The witch smirked in victory, thinking how could this guard even know her existence. She thought that the guard must've known the history to know about her.
"Now guide me, and open Duke Kim Seokjin's cell." The witch ordered, gesturing for the guard who she placed a spell with.
"Yes, Your Majesty." He said, eyes flashing in silver before turning around, and entered the dungeons with the witch following behind.
The two stopped near Seokjin's cell, and further notice, the guard was quietly killed in the hands of the lady. She snorted at the amusing sight before walking towards Seokjin's cell.
"Kim Seokjin," The witch whispered, smug look written on her face. "I bet you've become even more handsome."
The witch watched Seokjin, facing his back, and curling at the corner of the cell. Seokjin then shifted from his position, eyebrows furrowed at the sudden voice ringing in his ears. He froze, eyes widened as soon as he heard those words, and immediately turned around but hissed in pain due to his injuries.
The witch watched the weak and fragile figure of the Duke inside the prison, and when their eyes meet, Jin's entire world flipped.
"You're alive?" His crack lips parted, and gasping before he crawled slowly, making sure he won't hurt his body. His eyes watered at the sight of the person he wanted to see for months now, and the one he wanted make sure that she's still alive
Even for months of barely eating, he still have the ounce of energy to spend on.
A smile appeared on his dry lips. "Ha Na..."
He crawled in front of her, gripping the rails of the jail that separated the two, eyes searching for the person he needed to see to at least help Taehyung overthrown Namjoon.
The witched bent down, eyes glistening that meets Seokjin's eyes, and smiled at him.
"You're actua—"
Jin's smile faltered into a frown when the lady in front of him spoke. "Long time no see, Kim Seokjin."
His lips parted, jaw dropped and eyes bulging out of the socket before crawling a step back.
"You're not Ha Na..." He breathed, eyebrows knotted and stared into the eyes of the lady. "Who are you?"
The witch's snorted, amused. "How have you been? How many years has it been?"
Seokjin's teeth gritted, palms curled into a fist despite his weak state. He spat, bitterly, eyes digging fires. "What are you doing here? How are you still alive?"
He was flabbergasted, dumbfounded, and overwhelmed by the sudden existence of the lady. Wasn't she supposed to be dead a long time ago?
"I won't answer those questions right now." The witched rolled her eyes, huffing. "But I'm pretty sure you will help me with my plan."
"What plan?" Jin snarled, glaring at her. "How would you know that I'm going to help you?"
"I know that you will..." The witched smiled wickedly. "Considering what you did to me a thousand years ago..."
Jin's eyes widened, a flash of memory entered his mind, feeling guilty about it and his heart fastened.
"Now..." The witch took the opportunity, and decided to talk. "Listen to what I will say..."
Seokjin who's still flustered, looked at her. "I'm going to save Taehyung, and I will be his Queen."
Jungkook's eyes landed to his beautiful Luna who is currently playing with the pups, and doesn't have any idea on what's going to happen today.
The war will happen today, no matter how much he wanted to back out, he can't. He made the deal with the witch in exchange for finding his mate, erasing her memories and saving her mate from death.
"Are you ready?" Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts, and looked behind to see Yoongi. He nodded, and bit his lips in nervousness with Yoongi noticing it.
"Are you sure?" The beta asked again, and Jungkook hesitated for a while but eventually answered.
"I am sure, hyung."
Yoongi nodded, started talking about the plan that they needed to do to overthrow Namjoon. But Jungkook's attention was on his beautiful mate with all her smile spreading the entire pack making his wolf purr at the adorable scenery.
"Are you listening, Jungkook?" Yoongi groaned at the distant Alpha who seemed busy staring at his ex.
He felt jealousy and envious at how Jungkook was so free to look at Ha Na like that when he used to do that with her back but now, he couldn't even utter a single word towards her anymore.
"What did you say?" Jungkook cleared his throat, breaking his gaze and finally looked at Yoongi.
"I said," Yoongi sighed, shaking his head in disbelief before repeating his words. "First, we should save the only Duke remaining in the palace."
Jungkook raised his eyebrows, confused. "Where is he now? I thought the Dukes flew out of the palace."
"They did, but a Duke stayed behind," Yoongi informed. "And he is locked inside the dungeons."
Jungkook nodded, and all the massive members of the pack started moving, following their Alpha behind.
"Are the clothes ready?" Jungkook asked his beta.
Yoongi nodded. "The spy we put there put the clothes near the dungeons as it doesn't have much guards stationed there."
Jungkook nodded, abruptly transforming into his beautiful black wolf form making the whole pack gasped.
"You—" Yoongi was cut off.
We don't have time to admire my beautiful wolf. Jungkook hissed, mind linking Yoongi.
Yoongi nodded, eyes still on the beautiful wolf in front of him. Jungkook's rare transformation is surely beautiful but then Yoongi wouldn't doubt considering that the Alpha is from the Werewolf Royal Family.
"Let's go move!" The beta yelled, using his tone before his bones cracked, forming into his wolf and the entire pack transformed into their different kind of wolf form as well.
As they ran through the forest, Jungkook's snout twitched at the scent as he gets nearer the palace. His heart palpated so fast that he couldn't explain.
They stopped in front of the dungeons, with the others silently killing off the guards stationed near the dungeons. Both Yoongi and Jungkook transformed back to their human form, grabbing the clothes hidden near the dungeons and wore it.
Without minding the scene, the two entered the dungeons to save the Duke, and the more Jungkook gets nearer, the more the scent got stronger in his nose.
What is that scent?
They both stopped, with Yoongi whispering to Jungkook about the guy inside the cell is Duke Kim Seokjin. Somehow, Jungkook's eyes began getting teary, and his chest tightened as soon as his eyes locked with the Duke.
