CHAPTER SIXTY ONE

"You're pregnant?" Elisse blurted out before Ha Na pulled away from her, raising her eyebrows as she parted her lips in confusion.
She looked down, noticing her little bumpy stomach. She did noticed it before but she thought it was just natural. But why did her best friend asked her about being pregnant? She looked back at Elisse, trying to ask what her best friend meant but someone decided to cut the chase of a wolf barging inside the room.
Both looked at the panting wolf with scratches and abrasions all over his half naked body. His shirt was all torn to the point that you could only see his firm stomach and torso.
"What is happening?" Elisse asked in worry as she gasped at the horrible sight of he wolf.
"Someone is here to see the Luna." He breathed in, fighting for air to breath. "We can't stop him since the Alpha nor the beta isn't here."
"Who is he? Why can't you just attack him if he's an intruder?" The female vampire stepped forward in defence before a loud growl and scream echoed the entire territory.
"Turn her over to me or else I will slaughter every single one of you!" A familiar deep voice screamed heavily followed by a scream making the two jumped.
The two looked at the wolf in flustered expression before the wolf said. "It's because no one can defeat the Kim Taehyung."
With those said, the wolf went back to help his comrades in attacking the king of vampires that seemed undefeated.
"Luna!" They heard Taehyung's scream from the outside, seemed like the sound of an agonising pain releasing from a man's cries. "Please get out of there!"
Pleads could be heard causing Ha Na to freeze on her spot. "I need you! Please come out!"
It broke her heart to hear her soulmate's cries. What would she do? She wasn't ready to face him yet, and there's no way she would go out there, revealing herself or maybe telling Taehyung that she lied all the time. What if he will hate her?
"Please let me see you!" He practically begged while fighting the wolves that tried to stop him at all cost, and the two of them doesn't have any idea what is going on. "Please! Please!"
Elisse glanced at Ha Na, sighing. "This is your chance to reveal yourself, you know?"
"But—"
"Are you still afraid?" The human nodded, looking down with her chest tightening the more she hears the screams of Taehyung who needed her.
"I'm petrified." Ha Na answered in low tone, a tear threatening to fall from her eyes. "I'm scared, and I don't know why."
Elisse knew what she meant, and her best friend has always been like that even before. "Taehyung would never hate you."
The vampire said with a reassuring smile. "A vampire nor wolf would never hate his own soulmate."
Ha Na looked at Elisse, chin trembling with her eyes shaking. She was contemplating and confused but she needed to see Taehyung after avoiding him for days. Is it what her heart wanted, and just like what she told to her best friend, follow your heart?
"It's been days." Taehyung screamed, voice cracking. "What did I do? Please let me see you!"
She couldn't take it anymore as she stormed out of the room in which the other followed behind. She stopped her tracks, dumbfounded at the scene where a wolf shrieked from afar when Taehyung attacked him with snarl that escapes his mouth from anger.
Jaws were hanging low in shock, and Ha Na didn't know what to do. But one thing she could try was comfort him with her voice.
"Taehyung..." Ha Na's voice trailed off as the vampire stopped mid-way from lounging the wolf, landing back to the ground.
He stiffened, and the melodious voice of the woman vibrated his ears before slowly turning around. His heart was abrupt to react to the familiar voice that he was longing for a long time, and to his expectation, It was the voice of the Luna.
However, he was even more surprised yet nonchalant when his eyes landed at the figure. He imagined that the Luna could be Ha Na but he never thought that she would really be Ha Na.
Taehyung's eyes widened, tears started forming at the fact that his real soulmate was just standing a few meters away from him. His teary and red angered eyes softened—turning back to his normal brown eyes orbs as his eyes turned bloodshot from the tears that tickled down to his cheeks. His entire body falls limp, losing all the energy before he dropped on the floor in astonishment. What is he just seeing?
Looking back up, his lips trembled as it flickered back to her face that glowed like the usual. The outline of the nose that he used to trace, the eyes that he would want to see every single day, the lips that is as soft as a talc, and the obsidian flow of her hair that he used to stroke before—He couldn't believed that he had the chance to see it again.
Whimpering, he said. "It's really you."
"It is me." Ha Na smiled bending down to meet his eyes. Her eyes glistened, missing the man of her life, and hands travelled to his cheeks, softly grasping it.
Taehyung rubbed his cheeks slowly on her palms, feeling the softness of the soft hand—purring when her hands made contact with his cold flesh.
"It's y-you—" He shuddered, unable to comprehend, and all he did was repeat her name all over again. "My Ha Na."
"It's really me, Your Majesty." Finally, she revealed herself.
She smiled, caressing Taehyung's soft cheeks before pressing her soft lips against his forehead that sent shivers down to his spine just like the very first day he found her.
Elisse, on the other hand, signalled the wolves to get out of the sight as she watched the scene unfold in front of her with a smile plastered on her face. She stepped back, watching them having each other's embrace already.
Taehyung was too weak to even process everything as if every bit of his soul was taken out of his body, and he just fell right in his soulmate's arms. He didn't mind Elisse's presence and just longed for his mate's embrace.
Ha Na looked at her best friend, finally noticing her.
Please be happy, Ha Na. The female vampire mouthed, and she nodded.
"I will." Ha Na replied, whispering while her hands was rubbing his back.
