Chapter 80 Sending a message
ADAM'S POV
Following out, Lord Nikolaos, orders, we are sending the werewolves a message.
All of the soldiers are spread around every inch of the pack land. I can hear them running and shouting at each other to get inside and that was our time to move.
I get off my brown stallion horse leaving him behind as I lead the soldiers into a march onto the land but we are quickly blocked off by the werewolves. They snarl and snap their jaws at us warningly, but we all stand in our place, not backing down.
"This is a message from, Lord Nikolaos!" I shout to ensure they all hear me. "You have one week to give us the child, or else we you will be getting visits from us more often!" I pause and look at the gray wolf looking at me like he's about to rip my head off. "With worse damage, each time."
As I said that, the soldiers got their signal and attacks. Five of their people drop to the ground with their necks snapped.
They were definitely not happy with that and immediately attacks us. The grey one lounges at me about to bite my head off but I quickly get out of the way. Thinking I was in the clear, I turn around to continue my way onto their land but a spear is sent flying through my right shoulder.
I'm taken back and look to see who threw it but I can't see anyone. Everyone else is busy fighting.
With gritted teeth, I slowly pull the sword out and throw it on the ground. I watch as my wound heal and roll my shoulder in a circular motion to get the kink out once it was completely healed.
I roll my hands in fist and growl as I get angrier.
I continue to walk forward, waiting for someone to attack me. So far, so good. I can see I am almost out of the woods area and into their village but something stops me. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around with a risen eyebrow.
"Looking for me?" A curly head asks before slicing me in the face with the same spear from earlier, using the blade part too. She kicks me in the chest, causing me to fall on my back. She steps on my chest with one foot, putting all her weight down and puts the spear between my eyes.
"Make one move and I will put this through your skull." She growls.
With a smirk, I say, "I bet you would." I grab her by the ankle and throw her onto the ground, landing on her back. She groans from the impact and I immediately straddle her before she could get up and grab her by the throat.
I finally get a good look at her and she seems familiar. Too familiar.
"You're the sister." I whisper. I slowly lean closer to her to take in her scent but I don't get any hint of demon in her. Just a scent of Jazmine, nothing else. "It wasn't you."
She looks at me confused and as I look deeper into her eyes, I also got a hint of pain behind those eyes and it's not because of my hand around her throat. She snarls at me before head butting me, that didn't do much but the next thing I know I was ripped off of her.
I quickly stand up and look to see a huge wolf with a mixture of gold and brown fur, standing in front of her. "Let me guess. Mate?" I ask her just from the look he's giving me right now. I was ready to rip his head off until I spot Isabel from the corner of my eye. She looks as if she's lot it and is about to drop any minute.
I sigh and look back at them. "Next time." I say before speeding towards, Isabel and grabbing her. I then tell everyone to retreat.
We got we came for this time.

ELLE'S POV
I just finished feeding, Cora and she is thankfully knocked out. For just being born, she is hungry every damn hour, but I love her too much so I don't mind.
Right after putting her down, I got myself cleaned up and now I feel refreshed and not all gross. I finish putting my hair in a neat bun and walk outside to see everyone not looking very happy.
"What's wrong?"
"It's the pack. The demons attacked them, sending a message." Andrew pauses and visibly gulps with fear in eyes. "They want her, Elle."
"They killed some of our people, just to send a message and they're coming back."
Oh my god. I didn't think of the pack. Of course, Nikolaos, is using the pack to draw us out. He thinks I'm dead and he's taking advantage of that.
"How bad is it?"
"Two of ours and two of the night walkers. Lucas, was targeted."
"What?! Is he ok?"
"Yeah, they tried snapping his neck and they weren't very successful, so now he's slowly recovering."
Although my heart is broken to lose two of our members, I sigh of relief, knowing Lucas is ok. But then the guilt takes over.
I didn't mean for this to happen, I didn't want anyone else to get hurt. That is the whole reason why I'm even up here right now.
I run my hands over my face, frustrated and look at everyone in the room. "What do we do now, huh?"
"I believe it's time for me to finish my spell." Lyra, speaks first.
"Really?"
"It's the right time?"
"Yes. The baby is already here, so she is safe. Rhea, is now here so there is nothing else to wait for." She looks directly at me. "I don't like seeing your people getting hurt because of those creatures and I did promise I will help you."
"Thank you so much."
"Where is, Rhea by the way? She didn't sleep in here last night." Daniel stated with his mouth full of chips. How has he not ran out?
"She's out by the well, at the top of the mountain. She'll be back when she's ready." I answer.
I know it must be her comfort place. That's the first place she's been ever since I woke up. I didn't want to disturb her peace so I left her alone and didn't ask questions.
"I will get started on the spell."
"The first time it took you almost 9 months to finish, when it will this be done?" Jeremiah asked.
"Tomorrow." Lyra answers before returning to her room. The room is left in silence until, Simon breaks it.
"Am I the only one that's hungry?"

After eating a rather large breakfast, Andrew left the room for some reason. It was weird because his mood changed and I kept hesitating to ask until he left the room completely so now I'll just ask when he comes back.
"You think, Cora, is awake yet?" Simon asks, looking at the doorway.
"You have this weird obsession with my daughter." I laugh.
"I can't help it. She's just so cute. Plus I'm not the only one, so are all of them." He points at Jeremiah, Daniel and Junior. "They all love her as much I as I do. Well, I love her more."
A grape is thrown at Simon's head and we all look to see it was, Jeremiah. Simon squints his eyes and points to Jeremiah. "You know, I never liked you."
"Right back at you."
"You're just jealous, I am the favorite uncle." I roll my eyes knowing their going to get in an argument.
"She's just three days old."
"Yeah, but she doesn't cry when I have her. You can't even crack a smile once in a while, just seeing your face makes her cry."
"Oh shut up."
"Yeah, both of you shut up. I am obviously the favorite uncle." Daniel jumps in with a cocky smirk.
"That's because you make funny faces like you're a clown." Simon remarks.
"At least it gets her to shut up." Everyone's mouth drops and they all start arguing. I then realized Junior wasn't taking part in all of this and I look over at him. Concern takes over me once I take in his state. He looks red, as if he's about to pass out.
"Junior, are you ok?"
"Uh-" That's all he got out before he drops to the floor. He begins to scream while holding his head, this caused the guys to stop arguing.
Simon and I quickly get up from our chair and run over to him. "What's wrong? What's happening?!" Simon asks
"I don't-" I began but stopped once Junior, gasped and looks up at us with red eyes. This caused me to stumble back, Jeremiah catches me before I fell to the ground and pulls me away from him.
At the same time, Lyra, comes running in the room and asks, "What is going on?" No one answers and we all just look at Junior.
Junior, closes his eyes and opens them again and they are back to their original hazel colored. He finally stops screaming and drops his hands by his side while breathing heavily. After a few seconds passes by he looks up at us with wide eyes.
"I remember." He whispers. "I remember everything." He repeats. "I think." He adds confused.
"What do you remember?" Simon asks while rubbing his back.
Junior's eyes finds mine and he looks at me with disbelief. "Cristian. Cristian is a alive."
