Chapter 79 Let them think I am dead
NIKOLAOS' POV
"You understand me?"
"Yes." He says avoiding eye contact.
I smile satisfied and say, "Good. Once we get in reach with your friends, or should I say targets now. You do what I told you."
He bows before walking back into the darkness of his cell. I walk away from his cell and avoid all the others in the cells. I reach in the main hall to see Adam and two other of my watch guards running in my direction in a hurry.
I stop and wait for them to approach me. "What is it?"
"Elle, it was announce she was dead through the pack this morning. They lost her when giving birth."
"What?" I growl through gritted teeth.
"The pack is currently mourning her death."
No. This isn't what I wanted to happen. This wasn't the fucking plan!
Liza....
I shake my head, getting her out of my head. I walk past them and they follow behind. "What about the baby? Where is it?"
"They're still in the mountain but-"
I sigh, stopping and turn around. "But what Fergus?"
"We saw something go to the mountain." I raise my eyebrow, questioningly.
"More like someone." Adam corrects. "With wings." He adds.
"Are you saying she's not dead?"
"I wouldn't say that. This person was different, the wings were bigger than hers and I don't think she would be able to go flying a day after giving birth." He says in sarcastic tone. I give him a look to not try me and he clears his throat before continuing. "All that I am saying is , that wasn't her."
"So there is another one?" I do remember her having a sibling. "She does have a sister, I never considered her though."
"What if she is? There could be more of them."
"That will be a problem." I nod until a smirk slowly grows on my lips and I say, "Gentlemen, it's time we make our move. I need you to get Isabel here by tomorrow. I don't want her messing up my plan."
"It's time to send a message. I'm done waiting."
ELLE'S POV
After a long night off crying, I finally got, Cora, to quiet down as I sit in the rocking chair, breast feeding her. I smile seeing that she has fallen asleep. Even though I am tired, I continue to rock and hum a little soft song I remember my mom singing around the house.
I wish they could've met each other.
I am not making the mistake of getting up as soon as she closes her eyes, because all it caused was more crying.
"Baby." I immediately put my finger to my lips, telling him to shush. I point to, Cora, sleeping and he nods. "Let me take her, you get some rest. You are obviously tired." He says through the mind link.
"I am but I don't want her to wake up because of any sudden movements."
He sighs with a smile and walks closer to me. He slowly stops the rocking chair from rocking and I look at him with wide eyes. "Trust me." He whispers.
He slowly takes her from my arms, luckily without waking her up, and I have just now realized how numb they have gotten. I put my boob back in my shirt before following behind Andrew into our room, to see him putting her in her crib. I let a breath of relief out, thankful she didn't wake up.
I smile, watching how cute she looks when she's sleeping. I still can't believe I'm a mother to such beautiful baby girl.
Andrew hugs me from behind and I relax in his arms. "That's our baby girl." I whisper. Andrew, hums agreeing with me as he kisses my temple.
After a minute, my smile falters and I turn around to face him. "What if they-?" I begin but he stops me, by placing his index finger on my lips.
"No, I don't to hear anything about that right now. We can talk about that tomorrow. I just want to enjoy the fact that you're here right now." He lifts my chin up, so that I am looking into his eyes. "Just rest for the night and we can worry tomorrow." He says with a small smile.
How can he be smiling right now? And it doesn't help that he looks so cute when he looks at me like that. I sigh as a smile slowly forms on my lips. "Fine."
"Good, now come here." He snakes his arm around my waist and pulls me in for a kiss full of passion and longing. I moan as I enjoy the feeling of his tongue and I's motion moving together. I grip the bottom of his tank top as I feel this feeling of fire in my tummy, the good feeling, causing my toes to curl.
Starting to feel light headed, I slowly pull away from the kiss. "How long have you been waiting to do that?"
"Too long." He whispers as he rubs small circles on my back with his thumb.
"Me too." I laugh, pulling him back in for another.

"We got a problem." Is the first thing I hear in the morning.
Not even a cup of coffee yet.
"What is it?"
"I already announced to the pack that....."
"I died." I finished for him.
"Everyone is in their mourning period because they think their Luna is dead. We need to tell them you're ok."
Oh no, Anna. I can't imagine what she must be going through right now. She wanted to be here for, Cora's birth and she missed it. Now, she thinks she lost me and I know she is going to hate me for what I am about say but this idea seems like it's the best right now.
"No, we're not."
"What?"
"Why not?"
"Think about it. There is an insider for the demons still roaming around on our pack land and I am pretty sure they have already told, Nikolaos about me being dead."
"You want them to think you're dead." Jeremiah says with a small smile, liking the idea.
I smirk and say, "Yes, let them think I am dead. I can come as a surprise."
"Yeah, but the baby. Won't they come even harder for, Cora now that you are out of the picture."
"Yeah, but they can't get to us up here, right?" I ask, Lyra.
She nods. "No demon can step foot on here without my permission."
"Ok! So for now we continue to finish the spell." I turn to, Lyra. "And we ALL will help." I pressured the 'All' because I know she won't want us to help but I am refusing to let her do this alone again.
"You sure about this?" Andrew whispers in my ear.
"Very much."
We hear crying from the bedroom and that means, Cora is awake. "I'll get her!"
