Chapter 37 Sisterly love
ELLE'S POV.
"Do you know where they might attack?"
"No. He just said they'll be attacking Cristian. And by Cristian they mean the castle and I'm pretty sure that's not a good idea."
"Let them." He shrugs casually.
"Are crazy you old dingbat?!"
"What did you just say to me?" He asks as he slowly approaches me.
Simon immediately pulls me away from him and looks at Alejandro with pleading eyes. "Ook! No need to be calling anyone names now." He gives me a warning expression but I just roll my eyes and shrug him off.
Alejandro has been on my ass all day and I just want to rip his ugly blue eyes out.
"You know what? Simon and Cristian are too afraid to stand up to you so I will." I pause and walk up to him. "You are a slimy, conniving, secretive wrinkled ass piece of shit that needs to take a seat and SHUT UP!" I stop right in his face.
He grabs me by my through, caught by surprise I try to pry his hand off me. Slowly he puts his face close to mine. He smells my scent and looks at my neck before sneering at me and whispers harshly. "Do you know who you're talking to little girl?"
At first I was struggling trying to catch a breath but I'm not going to be weak. I grew my claws and sink them in wrist, deep. I twist his hand and he lets go of me. I hear a crack and he takes a step back with shock on his face looking at his dislocated arm.
I kick under his foot and he falls on one knee. He looks up at me with pain in his eyes as he hold his hand. "I don't give a fuck who are or what you are. I don't take orders from you and I said that your idea is stupid and we are going to find another way. Got it?" Without waiting for a response I walk out the office with a slam of the door.
I feel so much better. I sigh as a load of weight just lifts off me. I wanted to do that for so long.
I go in the kitchen and see Cristian eating a muffing. "Hi." I sigh and sit beside him.
"Is it all good up there." He asks referring to his dad.
"About that. You might want to talk to him."
His face instantly turns to worried. "Why?"
"Mmm nothing. Just go." I might of just realized what I just did. I'm in trouble.
He looks at me weirdly before he sighs and say, "Fine and your sister is on her way here. I might as well leave since she hates me."
"She doesn't hate you."
"Really?" He asks not believing it.
"Well...." She kind of does after I told her what happened between the Cristian and I.
"Ok." He takes my silence as confirmation and leaves.
Daniel walks in with his famous smirk. "Where are you coming from?"
"A date."
"You? On a date?"
"Yes. A man can date." He takes a blood bag out of the fridge and calls out to me as he walks out the kitchen. "By the way. Your sister is hot."
"Stay away from her!"
"No promises!" He shouts from the other room.
"Who was that?" Anna asks from behind me.
I jump from fright, almost falling off the chair. "That was Daniel."
"Blue eyes? Looks like Cristian? Total flirt?"
"Yep. That's him."
"Now I can see why you like over here."
I roll my eyes at her comment and take her up to my room so we could talk there. We both sit on the floor and lean up on the wall.
"So I talked to him.. and I say, go for it. I'm not a love expert." Says the girl that watches rom com movies like it's her job. "but that look in his eyes when he talks about you, it's kind of sad but he truly does miss you and he most definitely blame himself for what happened to you."
"Wait. Did he say that?"
"Not in so many words but yeah." She takes my hand in hers. "I'm still not a huge fan of him but I am telling you that he loves you. He might break your heart," Thank you for making me feel better. Note sarcasm. "don't get me wrong but considering you two were made for each other, there is not really much for you to consider."
Made for each other. He is my 'soulmate'. The one I love and the one that loves me back. I have been going at this too many times and I already made my mind up. I just have to stop going back and forth.
"Thank you. I missed you so much."
"Aww baby come here." She scoots over closer to me and puts her arms around me as I rest my head on her shoulders. "I missed you too. I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was leaving."
After some hesitation I decided to tell her what I was scared to ever tell. "Anna, I should tell you something." I sit up straight and look at her. "I saw mom."
"What?" She asks shocked.
"I saw mom." I repeated. "It was when I was taken by the demons. Elizabeth, my succubus, she made me see her. We talked."
"What?" She asks now in disbelief.
"It's true. She was real, Anna. She told me things, warnings and she also told me to tell you she's proud of you."
Both of us are now in tears. "She said that?"
"Yeah."
"B-but how?"
I told her everything mom told me. About how the moon goddess saved her, she warning me about Elizabeth. And about Andrew. After she socked everything in, the rest of the day she told me about her mate, Aiden.
He's one of the Lunar pack's warriors and from what she told me, he's a great guy and he makes her happy. So happy she might be in love with him and that puts a smile on my face.
Now I need to get my man.
