“Pregnancy, that’s what the doctor said. It’s still in its early stage and right now, I can’t make a decision for you,”
Phoenix felt as though her world was crumbling down and she didn’t know where to start from. Why was everything against her? Wasn’t it enough that she suffered during the Christmas festive season and the New Year season too, why did she have to be pregnant?

“Pregnancy, I’m pregnant… Hmmm, I see,” Phoenix said with so much pain in her heart but she couldn’t exactly kill another human being, she just couldn’t.

A few hours after Phoenix and Sterling left the hospital, Phoenix was in her room doing God knows what and Sterling was sitting by the fireplace, again, in deep thoughts; this couldn’t be happening to him, he finally found someone he loved but it felt as though everything wasn’t going the way he planned it to go.
“Denzel, get me Allen’s location right now; do whatever it takes to make his business crumble, I need him out of the way, he has cost more trouble for me and he is an obstacle that needs to be removed,”
“Yes boss,”
“Good, let me know when you do,”
Sterling couldn’t get the news of Phoenix decision out his head but he was willing to support her. He realized that as the days went by, his feelings for Phoenix grew stronger and he wanted to make sure that she didn’t feel any pain, Make her enemies disappear and that was what Allen was, an enemy.
He went to Phoenix room to see how she was doing and found her deep in thoughts; it made him remember her in this same position some hours before the devastating news knocked them off their feet.
“A penny for you thought?” Sterling said sarcastically to lighten up the room.
Phoenix chuckled lightly and gave him a warm smile that made him think that there was actually a light at the end of this dark tunnel of theirs.
“Maybe, a million dollars and I’ll tell you the secrets of my heart and ease the pain of my aching heart,”
“Deal, send me your account details and I’ll make a transfer; I’m serious. If there is any way that I can take away your pain, I would,”
“Do you think I made the right decision by keeping this child?”
“It’s your decision and I would go with whatever you say but I have a solution that can take the media’s attention away from you,”
“Oh, you do? Please tell me,”
“Why don’t we come out and tell them that we are in a relationship and that way, when the pregnancy starts showing, there wouldn’t be any scandal that can affect your empire,”
“Can I think about it? I don’t know why I’m telling you this but I’m going to make sure that Allen regrets ever meeting me in this life and he’ll run away from me in the next one,”
“I expect nothing less from you but let’s see who gets to him first; you or me,”
“You know you act so cute when you always try to get my attention; it’s like giving a kid a little scoop of ice cream and he wants more in return because the ice cream taste good,”
“A very great example, I agree to be the kid and I agree you to be my ice cream because you are delicious and I keep wanting more and yes, I want you to reciprocate the feelings I have for you the same way I do but I’ll wait until you’re ready after all you’ve been through a terrible ordeal,”

It had been a while since the media and the public heard anything that concerned the almighty Sterling Tyrell and everyone was eager for some piece of news about him. Sterling knew this and to keep the media buzzing and to keep the people talking, he decided to do something really crazy.
Sterling took to all of his social media handles and posted a back view picture of Phoenix; in that photo, Phoenix could be seen standing at the balcony, staring at the night sky.
No one could guess who the lady was because it was dark, so the Netizens and all popular social media handles talked about it immediately the picture was posted.
