"That was unpredictable." Cecilia said after Kaleela told her the whole story about her reunion with Grant. "I mean, I thought you are in love with my uncle."
Her red brows raised, "You are in the wrong track."
"You said you like his possessiveness."
"And I do say that he can be so annoying."
Cecilia frowned, "Well, nobody is perfect, Miss."
"Thanks for your advice. But, I need your help to find a hideout for me."
Max rolled his eyes and said, "Why us? You can seek some help from your association. I'm sure they will help you."
"Nice idea, Genius." She answered it with sarcastic tone. "Grant must be thinking the same thing."
"Then get lost! My Chili don't wanna help you."
Kaleela sneered, "You are acting like a clingy dog to it master."
"But, can you tell me how you can find us?" Cecilia asked with pure curiosity.
She shamelessly grinned widely, "I put a red handkerchief at your pocket. The one you threw to the trash bin."
"Ah, so you are tailing us?" Max let out a heavy sigh. Kaleela always know how to make him annoyed.
"Why are you so exaggerating?"
"Guys," Cecilia said with gleaming eyes. "I think I have a great idea. Just like the old saying, if we want to hide the leaves, go to the forest."
"Huh?"
"What?"
"Max, can you bring us to Galangal District in the Capital?"
He nodded although he looks so confused.
But, Kaleela opposed her idea, "I prefer not to go to Capital anymore."
Cecilia grinned widely, "Even better! My uncle will never search you on that place. Just like I said before, if we want to hide, we have to go to the most ordinary place."
Kaleela rolled her eyes, "But, I hate to met your father."
"Don't worry. Father is in the Blackthorn to handle the epidemic case."
"Look like, I have no choice." She said and casually holding Max's hand.
"Hey! Don't touch me!" He jerks her hand.
"Fiiiiine, Masked Boy." She raised both of her hands. Has no interest to make a useless argument with him.
"Galangal District number eight. Go!"
Max rolled his eyes, failed to understand Cecilia's excitement.
A moment later, the three of them stopped in front of a small dark house which located beside of the Capital's square. The street was empty, and it only lightens by one streetlamp.
Cecilia knocked the door. Suddenly, someone, probably the owner of the house, turned on the lamp inside the house and walking to open the door.
It's Gillian Bridgerton. Max knit his eyebrow, wondering why Cecilia know his address. What is their real relationship?
"Ah, it's you. I thought you already go to the island. What's bring you here?" He said in lazy tone.
Cecilia feels grateful that Gil isn't to stay in the bar like he promised before. After heard her opinion about his image as the innocent Han Ki Jung, Gil promised won't go back to the bar anymore. "Can you help me? My auntie need a shelter."
"I'm not your auntie!" Kaleela answer it with fury filled in her ruby eyes. She crossed her arms.
Gillian was wonder struck by her presence. The red-headed woman is his ideal type.
Too bad, she is already taken, he thought to himself.
However, when he noticed Max, the back of his neck chills. Gil gulped and tries his best to not mess with him.
In Hangugeo's language, he asked about his identity to Cecilia who already sit in the chair, between the red-headed woman and the scary masked man.
"[Who is he? Your boyfriend? His aura is really something.]"
"[Ignore him. He is one of my guardian.]"
"[Wow, as expected from Duke's daughter. How many guardians did he hired for your protection? After Hugo, now this man. Oh? How about the knights in your household?]"
Max and Kaleela exchange a glance and wondering what is the language they used. The red-headed woman just shrugged her shoulder because she never know the existence of that 'ancient language'.
Notice this, Cecilia clear her throat and say, "Can you let my aunt stay here while you are going to South Island?"
"I told you, I'm not your aunt."
"Wait, Chili? Did you invite this pervert guy to that island?"
Both Kaleela and Max talk in the same times. Making her rolled her purple eyes.
Gil cleared his throat, "Sorry, Miss Cecilia. I'm not going to the Island. Hugo told me about the school's project, and I'm willing to help him. But, your aunt can live here as long as she wants."
"Eh? What do you mean?"
He bowed a bit deeply. "[First, I want to say thanks for your kindness. I never thought you will be considering one of my wishes. Did you remember that I know someone talented who chose to hiding in shadow?]"
"[Ah, yes. I already mention it to Hugo.]"
"[She is the girl I always loves. We make a bet, if she can be a teacher, we will get to marry.]"
Cecilia rose from the chair, to make both the people beside her surprised, "[Whoa! Really? Is she the one in the bar?]"
"[Of course, no. They are just my acquaintance.]"
Cecilia rolled her eyes, "[Oh my!]"
"[Well, you will never understand about men's world. Anyway, I already purchased a bigger house in the next district and I tried to sell this house along with the furniture. But, well, your aunt can live here from now on. Please wait, I will take the key.]"
When Gil go to the upstairs, Kaleela and Max interrogates her.
"What are you talking about?" Max asked while hold her left shoulder.
"Why you look so happy?"
Kaleela crossed her arms. For the first time, she nodded and took a side with Max, "Don't get too close with him, Just Cecilia. I can tell from his smell, he is a player."
"Gee! Both of you, please stop it! He just said that Auntie Kaleela can stay here as long as she wants. He already bought a house in the next district. So, you don't have to worry about him."
"I am not your AUNT!"
Max still not convinced, "But, why did you invite him to the island?"
"I didn't. He said he wanted to go for holiday."
"Tsk! It must be a trick to hitting on you." Max crossed his arms with disgusted feeling.
"Hitting on me? Of course, no. He will be marrying his fiancé."
He raised his brows. "Oh? Is that why you look happy?"
"Yep! Aaah, I'm envying them who already found the love of their life."
Kaleela sneered. Her ruby eyes steal a glanced at Max before she teased her, "Well, don't worry. Your turn is next."
Cecilia smile faintly before said, "It is impossible. No man can love me."
