The plan is going well. I'm already doing what you instructed me to.
However, how long did I have to wait? My father and all the people of this island seem to blinded by her fake kindness. I'm so excited to exposed her true nature.
Of course, thanks to your potion which can force people to say nothing but honesty. Did you know? That pretentious woman seemed doing something with magic.

"What the hell is going on?" Kaleela shouted when she saw Grant, Max and Cecilia in her house.
"Please do something for her. She is dying!"
Kaleela doesn't know what is more shocking. The fact that her ex-lover know her whereabouts, the panicked masked man or a girl who passed out.
"First, please put her to my bed. And Grant, get the hell out of here."
Grant take one step closer to her, "I won't. She is my niece and I need to know what happened."
"You never cared about her. I know that." Kaleela said after she crossed her arms.
Grant open his mouth, but Max snapped with a very loud voice,
"Can you guys behave? There is a patient here!"
Kaleela sighed and led Max to her room. She puts her hand on Cecilia's forehead. "What happened? How could she get poisoned with Dature Metel?"
Max bit his lip, "She ate a cookie. Someone sent it to her room and--,"
"Hey, open the cupboard behind your back and take a bottle with green liquid."
In very brief movement, Max doing her commands. There are so many bottles with colorful liquid. But, luckily, there is only one bottle which has a green color. He carefully gives it to her hand because the bottle was so small and fragile.
"Good." She open Cecilia's mouth and put two drops of the green liquid on it.
"When will she wake up?" Grant asked with a worried face.
"I don't know. But, don't worry. Everything is under control."
Max crossed his arms and start telling Kaleela about Cecilia's trait after she ate those cookies. Grant give her the remaining cookies, and she examined it.
"I don't understand. This is truly Darute Metel. A white flower which shaped like a trumpet. Just a small amount of it's seed, can make us get hallucinated. Some people used this to drugged their enemy. So they became drunk and paralyzed But the dosage on these cookies was so high. It can kill someone."
"Damn it!" Max tightens his grip and his heart burned with rage. Whoever do this unpleasant thing, will not escape from Max's wrath.
"But, I don't know why she's acting strange like that." Grant seems confused. Because for him, Cecilia seem afraid of something. That's weird because she is a daughter from a powerful family. Nothing can scare her.
Kaleela shrugged and touch Cecilia's forehead again, "Hallucination can dig up her most nightmare that sealed deep down in her heart. Well, human is all the same, Grant. This little lady must be had her own fear or enemy. I'm glad she didn't eat too much."
"Kaleela, please take care of her for a second. I've to investigate this."
She gulped hard. If this was a different situation, she will be angry because Max didn't respect her as the older one. He should add 'Miss' before called her name.
But, Max's eyes was dark and somehow, Kaleela feels afraid and intimidated. So, what she managed to said was, "Okay. Don't worry."
"I should go too, K. Please take care of her." Grant said after Max disappeared.
Kaleela nodded and add a drop of the liquid into Cecilia's mouth.
She let out a heavy sigh. Grant seems didn't show any interest on her. It was a goof thing. But, why did she felt disappointed?
"Ah, who cares! More importantly, why did she become like this? Darute Metel were very rare and expensive. How come people from poor island manage to get these?"
Then, Kaleela rememberd something. The distribution of that flower was monopolized by one of her acquaintance. Kaleela smiled because perhaps this can help her to track the culprit.

Cecilia opened her eyes and found herself in a small room with a bright lamp. The air was smell something like bitter medicines.
"Chili? Oh, you are awake?" Max smiled, and she realizes that he was hold her hand.
Slowly she sits on the bed and squinted when a light headache attack her head.
"Are you okay? Do you need something?"
She shook her head. "Thanks. Where am I? Is there something happened?"
"Kaleela's room. She was going somewhere to find something I don't know and the reason why you are her because someone put a poison to your cookies."
"Poison?" Cecilia tilted her head and narrowed her brows. Then, she sighed when remember the hallucination about her previous father.
It was very bad memories for her. But, she feel calmer because now, she won't back to that past anymore.
"I'm sorry, Chili. For failed to protect you from this assassination, please punish me!"
Cecilia blinked twice, "Why did you talk like that? It's okay, Max. Besides, I think you must be the one who take me to Kaleela, right? You saved me. Thank you."
Max flinched when she pat his head as if telling him that everything will be okay. His heart feels warm because of her kindness. "I promise you, Chili. I will find the culprit and crush them in front of you."
Cecilia feels drowning when she looks at his eyes. Max look so gentle behind his mask. Her heart skipped a beat when he kissed the back of her right hand.
"I'll protect you, Chili. This time, I will not fail!"
When notice a solid determination in his dark eyes, Cecilia smiles and realize one small fact that she already fall deeply for him. A forbidden love which tasted sweeter than honey.
