The world around Gillian Bridgerton was paused for a moment when he heard that name. He shifts his gaze to the woman who wear black hooded cape.
When he met with her purple eyes, he just knew it.
The loud music start playing again when he raised from his chairs.
One of the women behind him asked if there is something happened. But, Gil doesn't answer and keep walking to the mysterious woman.
"Gil, what's up?" Hugo's voice sound wary, as if he was anticipating something.
Without even take a glance to him, Gil nodded. His brown eyes fixated on that girl, "Hugo, can you leave us alone?"
"No. She is a special case."
"Then, Young Miss. Let me asked you something." He approached her and start talking in Hangugeo or the official language in South Korean Language with loud voice. "[You must be one of my fans.]"
Cecilia gasped and replying in the same language, "[So, you are really Han Ki Jung! How come you end up in this place?]"
"[I should ask the same question.]"
"Milady?" Hugo watched them in the confusion, failed to understand what they were talking about.
"Hugo, can you give us some space? I need to talk with him privately."
Max's angry face appeared in Hugo's mind, "It is impossible!"
"Then, can you let us talk in the carriage? You can guard on the outside of it."
Hugo pondering for a while before nodded, "Alright then, Young Miss."
The three of them walked to exit the bar.
The group of women who were stand behind Gil's back seem disappointed and throw a sour smile to Cecilia.
"[You must be living in comfortable life, since Hugo's service is cost an arm and leg.]" Gil started their conversation when they already in to the carriage.
"[Answer my question first.]" She said in impatiently tone.
Gil shrugged his shoulder, "[You know what happened with my group, right? After that accident, I was reincarnated into a baby in this place.]"
Cecilia can't hide her puzzlement and closed her mouth with both hands. Han Ki Jung is member of famous boy group called Beats.
Unfortunately, they were involved in the tragic car accidents. Han Ki Jung died instantly, while the four remaining members left in comatose state before they were following Ki Jung.
It such a great loss since Beats was very popular and their agency, along with money they collected from the fans, build a memorial stone in the place where the accident taken in order to honor them.
As for Ji Eun, who watch her favorite idols met an unfortunate fate was so devastating for her to bear. She was thirteen when they died.
However, so many groups making their debuts after that and Beats was forgotten from the stages.
But what make her more confused was the fact that, unlike her, this Gillian Bridgerton have the same face with Han Ki Jung.
"[From the baby? So, you are living in this place for such a long time?]"
"[Twenty three years,]" He raised his eyebrow when saw her surprised face, "[Isn't it happen to you too?]"
"[Mine was three months ago. I do something bad and became like this as a punishment.]"
"[Hmm, it is the fate we have to follow. Lucky you, I didn't even know what to do here. Perhaps, it was a part of my punishment because I'm always missing my parents and the other Hyungs too. The foods were bland. The clothes are boring. No matter what I do, I never get a feeling to fit in this strange place.]"
Cecilia smiles faintly when noticed his sadness. "[I heard you are a well-known writer.]"
He shook his head, "[To be exact, I am just a translator. Those were from the books I read as Han Ki Jung. I'm afraid that I will forget it, so that's why I rewrote it.

"[It sounds like a lame excuse for me.]" She snorted softly.

Somehow, he looks unhappy. "[Well, I'm lucky because I got adopted. But Hugo wasn't. Truly, an orphanage is the worst place to growing up.]"
She throws her gaze at Hugo who wait patiently in front of the carriages and start thinking to giving him some bonuses.
"[And do you have some business with me? I mean, you are cames all the way from your luxurious house in Capital.]"
"[Nothing. I'm just feeling so curious because unlike the others, I still remember your face.]"
"[Just like I said before, you must be one of my fans in the past. Duh! I really want to sing and dancing like the old times! But if I do, they think I'm doing some magic rituals. Isn't it terrible?]"
"[Well, I have nothing to say.]"
"[Oh! Come on! Don't you want to revive the popularity of K-pop? Let's do something! You are Duke's daughter, after all. There is nothing you can't do.]"

He clicked his tongue and sneered, "Do you mean that barren island? [You are wasting your time.]"

Gil rub his chin and start thinking, "[Hmm, can I join you?]"
"[Eh? Why?]" She squinted her eyes and wondering why do he wants to move after saying something bad about that island?
"[I need a quiet place to continue my books. My publisher said I need holidays.]"
"[I doubt you like it. We have no alcohol, bar and the weather is always hot.]"
"[Doesn't matter. I need something new, though.]" He said while nodding his head as if he was sure about his spontaneous plan.
"[Fine. If something happens, don't blame me.]"
"[So cold! Is this how you treat your bias?]"
"[You are Gillian Bridgerton. The Han Ki Jung I know was cute, innocent and fresh like summer. Not the one who fooling around in the bar being a drunken Casanova.]"
Gil laughs again, "[You look like a jealous girlfriend.]"
"[Rather than jealousy, I'm feeling a bit disappointed. It was just different with the one I imagined.] "
"[Too bad. The Han Ki Jung you loved was a man who standing in front of the cameras. Not the real one. Well, I can't blame you, though. We, as idol, have a task to be a perfect human who fulfilling the dream of their fans. Even it means to be fake and sacrifice our life.]"
She blinked twice when noticed his unreadable expression. Feeling awkward, Cecilia got stuttered,"[Th-then, I will, I will pick you up when you are re-ready.]"
He shrugged without even notice her nervousness, "[Okay. When will you come back to the Island?]"
"[After our conversation was over."]
"[Eh? Why don't we're going together? So, I don't have to wait for another three days after finishing packing my things.]" Gil crossed his arms and look so disappointed about this unfairness. As if he really got excited to this journey.
Some realization comes into her mind. She forgot the fact that unlike her who can move in different place just in blink of eye (by Max's help of course), normal people will spend several days to reach that island. She is unsure if Max's agree to add another passenger.
Defeated, Cecilia has no choice but said, "[Then, I'll ask Hugo to rent you a carriage, so you can go whenever you want.]"
Gil smiled slyly and give her the thumbs up. "Okay. Deal!"
