"Brother, I’m going to watch cartoons for a while!"
Nisha shouted to Raven, who was just a few steps away from her.
Raven briefly replied to her with a smile.
He requested to Nisha to give him some time to talk privately with their parents.
Nisha felt betrayed for not being included in the conversation, so she didn’t agree at first.
Raven didn’t really want to exclude her from the conversation, but he was going to discuss a pretty sensitive topic, and it might complicate Nisha’s mind and feelings if she heard it.
Therefore, Raven just promised her that he would be with her until the end of the day after having a conversation with their parents.

He walked toward Nisha and placed his hand on her head.

"But I promise, we’ll see each other pretty often after this."
Nisha’s face softened after hearing that.
And after replying, she went to the living room and started watching cartoons.
It’s a small house they were in, so the living room was not that far away.
"Don’t go promising things that you can’t fulfill. She will be disappointed afterward."
Walking beside Raven, Elaine said that with a worried voice.
She heard Raven’s conversation with Nisha, including the promise he made to her little sister.
Looking at his mom, Raven smirked and just shrugged his shoulders.

Elaine’s face became complicated, not understanding his intention.

It was then Alfred asked Raven as he joined Elaine and his son.
He planned to remain silent for now, but Raven’s words caught his interest, so he asked a question about it.
Briefly looking at the couple, his parents, Raven opened his mouth.
"Let’s have a seat first. I have things to say to you—Mom, Dad."
Raven’s tone was serious, so Alfred chose to delay some of his questions to hin for now. The same went for Elaine.
"Okay, let’s sit down first."
Alfred said and sat down on the sofa near them. Elaine sat beside him.
Raven then sat on a chair opposite from them.

As the three of them sat comfortably—Raven started to explain things to his Mom and Dad. Along with the things he’s also planning to do in the future.
He told them about how he planned to destroy a group in which every member had a strong family background—including the reason why he would do that.
Raven’s words were serious, so Alfred and Elaine listened to him seriously too in response. They didn’t cut his explanation and just listened the whole time.
And in went on like that for a while.
"I see, you’ll definitely make enemies with people with strong authority if you do that... That’s why you want us to move to a different and safer place, right?"
Alfred asked with a complicated expression on his face.
It was just after Raven finished explaining that he spoke.
Anyway, Raven had a sorry expression on his face—but he looked at Alfred with resolute eyes.

Alfred stated. His words genuinely shocked Raven.
"Raven, do whatever you think is right. And when you’re in the wrong, we will come to you and set you on the right path again."
Then his mother, Elaine—spoke words similar to Alfred’s as she patted Raven’s head gently.
"Don’t you remember our motto?"
Elaine added. Her words caught Raven’s interest.
He mumbled as a question.
Then opening his mouth—
"Be neutral. Be good to those who are good, and be evil to those who are evil."
Alfred declared that.
Raven was in a daze for a moment after hearing that, then he let out a laugh.
’I really like that motto.’

The system appeared—but was ignored again by Raven.
He just smiled and nodded at his parents.
"Don’t worry, I won’t get hurt. I didn’t tell you guys earlier, but I actually ranked up—a lot. And Dad, I also don’t want people to see me as a villain."
At his words, Elaine separated from Raven and sat back beside Alfred.
She was genuinely shocked.

Which made Elaine and Alfred frown.
"You don’t remember?"
"Did something happen to your head?"
Elaine followed, worriedly.
Raven smiled bitterly and scratched his cheek.
"Actually... there’s a more serious thing that I want to tell you guys."
He mumbled anxiously, making the couple turn serious again.
Alfred asked, his voice calm.
Raven looked at the couple. He closed his eyes.
He took a deep breath and reopened his eyes again. And when his rapidly beating heart calmed down a bit—
He finally opened his mouth.
"I’m a reincarnator."
Raven declared without batting an eye, looking straight at the couple.
