Eve frowned as she heard Raven’s words. The others made a surprised face too while Curtis just looked at Raven enviously.
Eve didn’t expect that he would say that it’s good, and with a sincere voice at that.
Her eyes widened as she thought of a possible reason why Raven said that.
’Is he being considerate to me because he doesn’t want the others to know that I failed at cooking a simple dish?’
Eve’s imagination ran wild, and guilt hit her conscience again.
And as that was happening—Raven took another bite again!
He’s happily chewing like he’s eating a five-star-class meal.
Eve tried to stop him but she was too late, Raven already swallowed it.
’Wow, I don’t know what Eve put in this food... But the bitter taste in my mouth disappeared.’
Meanwhile, Raven is nodding his head in satisfaction as he thought that.
His expression and reaction made Alec, Adelle, Aoi, and Blake question each other if the food is really good, but they didn’t risk the chance to ask Raven for a taste.
(They made a good choice.)
Anyway, Raven isn’t lying about the food being good. For him, the dish is indeed good. That’s because the bitterness in his mouth is getting cancelled by the saltiness of the herb that Eve put in it.
"Next time, I’ll cook something that’s delicious and not something like that."
Eve muttered, everyone around them heard her.
Alec, Aoi, Adelle, and Blake, who knew that Eve did something to the food, looked really surprised at her words.
Curtis is just dying in jealousy watching Raven eat her homemade food.
And Eve, she just said that as her conscience couldn’t take it anymore.
Raven looked at her and tilted his head.
"What are you talking about?"
He asked and pointed at the curry he’s eating.
"It’s already delicious."
He declared. Raven’s voice was honest so it looks like he’s telling the truth. (He is.)
’Is this guy doing this on purpose to guilt me?’
Eve thought with a frown, but she just decided to shut up and stay silent.
Anyway, with all that done—the group started eating lunch peacefully.
Except for Curtis, he was constantly trying to steal Raven’s food that Eve cooked.
A few tens of minutes passed...
We just finished eating and I already parted ways with the others as I’m about to start training again.
I’m about to leave the cafeteria now.
A group of four boy students suddenly blocked my path.

They were supposed to target Alec as he gradually got close to the three girls, but maybe because of what happened earlier this lunch—and considering that I’m a low rank in my data—they shifted attention and chose me instead.

My surroundings became noisier as passersby started whispering to themselves while looking at me with worried eyes.

I thought, basing on their’ reactions.
I muttered to myself.
Just remembering what they will do in the future and what they already probably did made me frown.
"What do you guys want?"
I asked them, not hiding my annoyance.
Then one of them scoffed at me arrogantly.
He lifted his right foot to take a step forward. But before he could place his foot down—I moved my foot underneath where it would land, resulting in him stepping on mine.
"Don’t you know about u–"
I didn’t let him finish his sentence and punched him in the jaw with a mana-coated fist. The man slammed to the ground, unconscious.
I muttered. When I’m creating villains in my story, I always describe them as the type of people I really hate.
It’s so that I can easily think of and write how to beat the shit out of them later.
And now that I’m in front of the villains I created, remembering their personalities and what they did and will do—
I got annoyed. Then it grew when one of them scoffed at me and acted arrogantly, so I knocked him unconscious.
"What the fuck do you guys want?"
I repeated my question. My voice cold, activating at the same time.
The other three boys took a step back, feeling that something was wrong.
One of them gnashed his teeth.
I got annoyed again, as I knew he was going to say something stupid. So I kicked him in the stomach.
He slammed into the wall and became unconscious too.
"Fucking cringe... I already had enough with Curtis."
I looked at the remaining two, staring at them with cold, indifferent eyes.
I took a step forward.
"What the fuck do you guys want?"
I asked again. They showed terrified expressions and didn’t move or utter a sound.
I moved closer to them and looked at each one of them.
Then, my eyes stopped on a face I was familiar with.
’This fucking scum...’
Then I slapped him. And yeah, he passed out too.
"Your face is annoying."
I looked around to see the passersby staring at me with surprised faces.
Seeing that, I calmly pointed at my foot.
"They started the fight. Look, they stepped on my foot first."
I casually said, then started to walk away from the scene and shrugged.
’The one boy I left conscious will handle the other guys and he will tell their leader what happened here.’
’I need to get ready...’
I started to form a plan to destroy them.
