Hunter POV
I'm here now at a mall because Linnea wants me to come with her, she said she had things to buy and I don't know what they are, the only thing I know is that she wants to buy groceries to add to the house. As far as I know, everything is complete at home so I don't know what this woman's trip is.
And since I'm not used to this kind of thing, I just let her do what she wants and follow her every move. Sometimes women are really weird too. Not long after, we also finished shopping so I paid for it and decided to go home.
As we were walking Linnea suddenly stopped so I looked at it. "Why?" I ask her.
"Ah, why can't you just go to the parking lot first? I'll just buy something." she said.
"I can accompany you if you forgot to buy something." I said but she just shook her head.
"You go first in the car and I'll follow right away," she insisted so I could do nothing but allow her.
It's been almost half an hour but there's still no Linnea coming which I'm just wondering about. She told me it's only been a while but until now she's still gone. How many times I tried to call her but her phone was out of reach.
I got out of the car again to enter the mall and pick her up, it was impossible for her to last without even saying anything even though she knew I was waiting for her.
As I was spinning around, my phone rang, I was surprised because it was an unknown number so I just answered.
"Who's this?" I asked.
"How are you Hunter? You must be crazy now not to find Linnea."
My fist clenched, this Aiden really gave me a headache and it looked like he took Linnea again.
"Damn you! Where is Linnea?" I shouted.
"Easy there, I just borrowed this woman. Don't worry and I'll give her back to you, I just don't know when." he said while laughing.
Damn it!
"You bastard! I warned you not to touch Linnea , she's out of what we have Aiden. Don't try my patience." I threatened him.
"Why? What are you going to do? You're going to kill me? I've been ready to die Hunter for a long time, since the important people in my life disappeared and it's all because of you. So you just have to pay for it."
I was about to speak but Aiden ended the call. Shit!
That jerk!
I quickly called my secretary Dane to find out where Aiden's location was, that man was really getting into my nerves.
Linnea POV
I face the man who raped me a few weeks ago, I really don't understand why they want to do this to me. It's like they are playing me.
I ask Hunter to go first in the parking lot and I will just follow him. I was just going to buy milktea and donuts but this stupid guy just pulled me over.
"What's your problem? What do you need from me?" I asked boldly.
"I-it's just I miss you." He whispered what I heard .
"What? Are you crazy?"
I saw him stand up and approach me. He touched my face and was about to kiss me as I avoided him.
Soon there was a knock, it looked like one of his men. He stood up and opened the door.
"What do you need?" he asked the man.
"You have a visitor Sir, Hunter is here."
Aiden hadn't yet spoken when I heard a gun shot, I quickly covered my ears because of it. I was not used to such scenarios and I lost my mind that the people I was with were members of illegal businesses.
I’m starting to feel scared because of what’s happening. I'm not used to such things because I've lived a normal life, not like they are used to this.
I was surprised when Aiden suddenly pulled me out of the room. While this man was dragging me, lifeless people were passing by. I feel sorry for them.
We went to the back and saw if there were any guards there and because it was a rest house it had a sea behind it. There was a yacht there and Aiden quickly put me on board.
As the yacht was leaving I saw Hunter and his other companions, I could see in his eyes the great anger and frustration. Knowing that he couldn’t follow us right away.
Aiden POV
I know Hunter is furious now for taking Linnea and I know that he will do anything to get this woman from me.
Luckily I saw Linnea in the mall so I easily took her away and I knew Hunter could easily track u. It was just fine and I was prepared for this thing so I know I can escape together with Linnea.
I took Linnea to the other Island because there was a resort standing there and I made sure Hunter wouldn't find out right away.
As I sat I felt pain in my arm, only now I noticed that I had a gunshot wound. I first took off my clothes to look at the wound.
Fortunately, I stood up and took the first aid kit, when I got back to my seat I saw Linnea sitting there in my seat.
"What do you need?" I asked her.
"I know you have wounds and I will clean and treat it." she said.
I no longer complained when she suddenly grabbed my hand and started cleaning it.
I couldn’t help but look at her gentle face. She's indeed a goddess and she's very kind. Even though I was not good to her ,she still chose to help me.
"Looks like it needs to be seen by a doctor." she suddenly said.
"No need, it's far from the intestines and I'm still used to such wounds."
She arranged the first aid kit and went to the veranda.
"You know what? Whatever quarrel you and Hunter have I think you both need to talk about it. You don't have to go through violence and killing each other. Think of your men whose lives are in danger because of what you are two doing." Linnea said.
I walked closer to her. "I have reason why I am doing this Linnea and you can't understand that because you're not in my position. I'm not bad, I've only been bad because of what I've been through. I won't bother Hunter anymore if that's what you want but on one condition." I exclaimed.
She looked at me. "Why do you need conditions? You can just do it. And what is that?"
"Leave him and stay with me." I stutter seriously.
She didn't say anything so I just let her think first. I said goodbye and left her inside.
