Chapter 8 Drinking to Chaos and Escaping
The car stopped at the mansion. Emily Russel was under a health check by their doctor. She and her child are both fine. Under the movement and pressure made her exhausted that caused her to have a mild fever.
As he laid on the bed, Maddy absently watched Alex's back figure gradually leaving the room, then briefly said "Hypocrite"
When she imagined the coming-of-birth of her baby that will call Emily Russel by "mom", Maddy's gaze fell into despair.
Maddy was arranged in their main bedroom in the past. Getting fever and scurry all day quickly pulled Maddy to sleep.
"Clack." The door of the room opened, a figure slipping.
Alex's vision took a while to get used to the darkness. As he approached the bed, he adjusted the night light to brighter.
Alex sat down and watched Maddy's feverish face. She rubbed her face slightly against the pillow, her mouth half-open, and mumbled like a little cat.
The ruddy tongue attracted Alex in the middle of her lips. Then he bent down closely. The smell of alcohol on him caused Maddy to open her mouth and whisper like a cat, making the blood inside Alex boil. From the full red lips, the two words "Mr. John" awoke the savage male instinct embedded into him.
Alex covered her eyes and bitten hard on her lips, making Maddy half-awake again. She opened her eyes but only greeted by the darkness. Around the nose is the familiar cigarette smell, the lips of the tongue intersecting with the lips, causing Maddy not to know if she is awake or dreaming, she unconsciously said the desire in her heart.
"... Kiss me..."
But in the ear, Alex turned into his usual cruel self when Maddy told, "John, kiss me."
Alex brutally slapped her, and the lips that had just been bitten bled even more.
"Whore."
Maddy sat up in a panic when she realized who she had just kissed.
"Mr. Alex, why are you here?"
"Sleeping in my bed, kissing me, and thinking of another man?"
Alex ran his hands through her long sprawling hair and pulled her nape closer to him. He was blowing his alcohol stanched breath all over Maddy's face.
"For several months living in the same house with that man named John Elliott, what did he do to you?"
Maddy shed tears from being humiliated. "Mr. Alex, not everyone has been lecherous like you."
"Elliott can't satisfy you, huh?"
"You... you are really vile." Maddy blushed at the rude question.
A large hand slipped into her collar, caressed her beautiful bust. Alex blew air into her ear.
"Did he do this to you?"
Maddy leaned against him and gasped for breath from being excited. She shook her head softly.
Alex was satisfied, bent down to nibble on the lips that stopped bleeding.
"Good."
A weak little hand hit Alex's chest but was it still seized by his sovereignty. Her nightgown fell, and her flesh was slightly reddish in alcohol. Alex, both body and soul, wholly possessed Maddy. As her mind began to sink into pleasure, a whisper came from her ear.
"Emily... you're so good ..."
Her mind exploded, Maddy pushed her upper body then jumped off the bed and ran towards the door. But staying in the same posture for too long caused her thighs to drop to the floor.
Maddy fell to her knees and supported her hand in a seductive posture. In yeast vapors, Alex lost interest and cruelly covered her.
In his vague mind, his protective instinct told him to protect the important things, then Alex unconsciously inserted his hand to support Maddy's belly.
"Do not! Let me go, you bastard!"
His hair was pulled back, head tensed as if she wanted to tear off his scalp, Maddy was screamed in pain.
The incident of drinking too much alcohol then going to bed with her mistook her as Emily Russel.
"Alex Hargreaves, I hate you! I hate you..." sobbing she continued "... please forgive me... stop tormenting me..."
Tears welled up, and Maddy's hoarse pleading made Alex's movements more violent.
"Emily..." Alex felt her pain, immediately left her hair and released her obediently, not forgetting to support her rising belly. He leaned down and bit her ear, whispered her name, repeated many times.
The passion made her mindlessly conscious. She could not distinguish what Alex was saying. Maddy felt like there was ash in her mind.
Alex slowly killed her love.
A night passed in agony.
The next morning due to fatigue and lack of strength in her body, she refused to go down to the breakfast room.
He coldly pulled her hand downstairs and threw her on the opposite chair. Her wrist trembled and was covered with bruises, she held a spoon to scoop the porridge. Salted egg porridge was delicious, but in her mouth, it was tasteless.
Tears fell down the bowl of rice porridge, she was dazedly noticing it. She scooped each spoon into her mouth and chewed.
Alex stared at the dense hickey that appeared in her collar.
He stood up quickly, grabbed the bowl of Maddy's porridge, and threw it to the floor.
"If you don't want to eat, don't eat it!"
He tossed the entire breakfast on the ground, she took from her in a fit of puzzled anger.
Alex let her tears run down, like a doll sitting dazed in a chair. Only when the maid called out loudly did she regain consciousness.
"Dear mistress! Lunch is ready, do you want to eat here or I'll bring it to your room?"
"She has just been living provisionally in here, she isn't the owner of this house. Is she entitled to command our maid?" A tall female voice rang out from the door of the dining room. "Get back down."
Maddy was surprised to look at her sister for a long time.
Emily Russel is so beautiful in a silk dress. She sat on a chair, crossed her legs to reveal her long, long thighs. She rolled her eyes at the decadent lunch on the table, her eyes filled with jealousy.
"Alex Hargreaves really knows how to pity the dog that once he threw away and invited a nutritionist to prepare your food."
"What are you here for? This place doesn't welcome you."
Her eyes were fierce, and Emily Russel kicked the leg of Maddy's chair hard and found that she could cling to the table and did not fall as planned made her even more annoyed.
"Do you think you're still the noble lady? Scabies toad that demanded to eat swan meat."
"I am sheltered by Mr. Alex. Having power or not is not your turn to judge."
Maddy laughed loudly. "Three years passed, but your tone was also quite lordly, huh." She stretched out her slender hand and examined her sparkling stone fingernails. "Hearing your voice, you are wanting to cling to Alex. Did you completely forgot about Doctor John, right?"
"Mr. John? What do you know about him?" Maddy spring up.
"John Elliott came to beg me with the hope that I will help you escape from this house. He will have a way to get you out of this mansion." Emily Russel's dark makeup eyes narrowed dangerously. "And, I agreed."
"Why?" Maddy did not believe this false person.
"Because I don't want a bug as you cling to Alex. I and Alex are about to get married. You are the filthy bitch in the way."
"The person who Alex loves is you. Say the real reason why you agreed to help me."
"Because I don't want to raise a disgusting baby in your womb."
Maddy was shocked, and her heart tightened in pain. She sat down on the chair and picked up her chopsticks and began to eat.
"Finding yourself hopeless, so you should not use the hunger strike anymore?"
"I need the strength to run away." Madeline Russel did not lift her head and dug down to put the food in her mouth. She didn't want anyone to see her wet eyes.
Emily Russel pushed an envelope.
"Inside are the cash and an escape route. You need to follow it, continuously change cars in the middle of the road to avoid being quickly found by Alex. Mr. John will wait for you at the meeting point. Hope you can escape."
