The sun rose, golden rays intermingling with blue lightning. In the distance—the coastline of Angel Island was faintly visible.
Arthur's form flickered—and he landed on the familiar Angel Beach where he had arrived a year earlier.

In the distance, soldiers armed with spears patrolled back and forth in groups of five and squads of ten, seemingly searching for something.

The twenty soldiers brandished their weapons with a clang. If Arthur said it was related to him, he would be immediately apprehended.

Arthur's face was serious. He frowned—trying to understand why he had reacted so excessively.
