Xavion frowned at Eira, she was looking nervous like she is hiding something. Thousands of possibilities ran in his mind but he stayed calm. He can't overeat now and spoil everything.
'Did she learn anything while she was out?'
'Lorenzo and Marcel did something?'
'why she came back so soon and what is it that she wants to tell me?'
He was going to tell her Everything but now he wants to listen her first. Xavion always believed in being a good listener and it has always benefited him.
"What is it?..."
He asked again and Eira licked her dry lips nervously making him more suspicious. The suspense was killing him.
"Did you do something which you shouldn't have, Eira?..."
He asked cautiously and she gulped.
"I don't know..."
She mumbled unsure.
"But you need to know about this... Please don't get mad."
Xavion grew impatient.
"Will you tell me now?... Is it something serious?..."
"You__ I_ I mean... We__"
She couldn't understand where to start.
"Eira, what is it?..."
Xavion raised his eyebrows.
"My sickness is not because of hormonal changes or because I am newly shifted..."
She started.
"Then...?"
It made him more worried thinking it's about her health.
She took a deep breath.
"That juice you asked me take every day I didn't take it... I didn't listened to you properly when you told me about it... And___"
"And__"
Xavion scrunched his eyebrows, he can only think about the result but didn't wanted to rush it.
Eira's heart started racing thinking about his reaction. She closed her eyes and said in one breath.
"And I am pregnant now..."
Xavion couldn't collect her words for a second. He was still in shock and confusion that if heard her right or he is listening things.
"You are What?..."
He asked confused.
Eira's heart skipped a beat looking at his reaction. It looks like he don't want this. Her throat tightened at the thought.
"I am pregnant... I am sorry okay, I didn't knew that it will turn like this. And I didn't heard you properly that night. I know I was irresponsible but__"
Her eyes watered as she mumbled the world's again and again.
Xavion blinked few times like he don't believe her. Soon his frown turned into big smile.
"You are pregnant!... Are you sure, I mean how do you know about it... Damn Eira you have no idea how happy I am..."
He was ready to jump in happiness.
Eira looked at him confused.
"You are not Angry?..."
"Why would I be angry with you... You are giving me babies for fuck sake..."
He exclaimed and hugged her tightly.
"Thank you so much, baby... I love you."
Eira hugged him back.
"I love you too..."
She sighed in relief and smiled at his reaction. She knew that he won't be mad on her because of this, but still it was a big deal for her.
Xavion pulled away from the hug and kissed her passionately, Eira let go her all worries and kissed him with the same desperation like she was away from him for the whole century.
Xavion pulled away and placed his forehead on her while cupping her face.
"I am going to be a father..."
He chuckled pecking her lips. Eira smiled looking at his wide smile, he looked like he is the happiest man in the world.
He made her sit on the bed and sat beside her.
"Is that why you are having mood swings?..."
He asked and she nodded.
"How many are there?..."
He asked curiously.
"Triplets!..."
She declared and he looked at her proudly.
"When did you find out?..."
He questioned.
"When Nora checked me..."
Eira answered and xavion frowned.
"And you are telling me this now, Nora didn't tell me either... Why?"
He asked.
"Because I told her not to tell you... I got scared and confused..."
Eira explained.
"I wanted to tell you in the garden but you told me about the birth control and I couldn't tell you thinking you don't want this..."
Xavion's face softened by her words. He pulled her on his lap and stroke her face gently.
"I am sorry you had to face that alone... You should have tell me, love. I did that because I thought you are not ready for that responsibility... But it doesn't mean that I don't want babies..."
Eira snuggled in his chest clutching on him tightly and he held her closer.
"Having family with you is my dream, how can I not want this..."
"I am sorry, I should have tell you..."
She whispered finally she was out of her a worries, few gentle and assuring words from him worked like a magic on her.
"It's okay..."
Xavion kissed her head. He sighed thinking that she was out in the city alone while she is pregnant. He wanted to scold her for that but decided otherwise. He is perfectly aware that she-wolves can suffer mood swings in first few weeks of pregnancy and it was clear that Eira is suffering from that, he didn't wanted her to feel worst And anyways Xavion was aware where she was going and whom she was meeting. He knows that she had a conversation with Rose.
Now he wants to give her all the love and care which she needs in this situation.
"Promise me you won't hide anything from me again..."
He said.
"I promise I won't... Actually I wasn't going to hide it, I was going to tell you but I needed time before that..."
She confessed.
"For what?..."
Xavion questioned frowning.
"Were you thinking otherwise Eira?... This pregnancy is an accident, did you wanted to get rid of these babies..."
Eira noticed change in his expressions. Yes, she had that thought in her mind for a second but she wasn't really going to do that.
"No!... I wasn't, yes I was scared but I can't hurt my babies..."
Xavion sighed in relief.
"You don't have to be scared baby, I am here with you. But next time I want you to tell me first, there is nothing that you should hide from me. I am your mate..."
Eira nodded.
"I will..."
Xavion smiled and pampered her whole face with kisses.
"Do you need anything?... Are you hungry?..."
"No, I'll freshen up first..."
She got up from his lap.
"Okay, I'll order you dinner here in the bedroom..."
Xavion Said standing up.
Eira was about to walk away but stopped and turned around when she remembered something.
"Xavion?..."
"Hmm?..."
He stopped and looked at her.
"What you wanted to tell me when I came to you ?..."
Eira questioned and all colors from Xavion's face drained out.
