Eira was waiting impatiently for witch to arrive so she could check her and find out what's wrong. Xavion was sitting beside her quietly. He tried to assure her that she is okay but she shut him up saying 'stop irritating me' xavion was taken aback by her behavior but didn't said anything, he was sure that something is wrong with her. She is having mood swings and mostly she is getting irritated over small things so he stayed quite not want to cause more trouble.
Eira herself was aware that something is wrong with her, it's been half an hour ago that she has eaten and still her stomach was growling in hunger. She hasn’t experienced mood swings like this before. At one minute she wants to cry and other she wants to dance in excitement. She was totally confused and worried about her situation on top of that she was feeling guilty for talking to Xavion like that.
She looked at him, he was sitting beside her. Placing his elbows on his knees and thumbs under chin like he is in deep thoughts. Xavion was thinking about the possibilities, what if Lorenzo and Marcel has performed some magic shit on Eira. They did it last time but couldn't succeed, it's possible that they try again. She is behaving like this since their fight in the forest.
"Xavion?..."
Eira tucked on his rolled sleeves to grab his attention. Xavion looked at her face, she was looking like a child who has done something naughty and it’s time to apologize.
"Hmm?..."
He looked at her, thinking what she has to say now. From last few hours she has only threw tantrums at him.
"Are you angry with me?..."
She mumbled.
"No... But it will be better if you stop fighting with me over small things..."
He answered with hard face and looked away.
Eira's eyes watered at his tone.
"I am sorry..."
Her throat tightened and Xavion's eyes snapped towards her.
"The fuck are you crying now..."
He frowned and looked at her in disbelief. He was confused that when did she became so sensitive.
"Because you hate me now..."
She sobbed hiding her face in her palms.
Xavion rubbed his face frustratingly and pulled her on his lap. She was still hiding her face and sobbing.
"Baby look at me..."
He said gently and she did.
"I don't know what the fuck is happening but I don't hate you... I can't and I never will. You are my world..."
He cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears with his thumb.
"I am sorry I shouldn't have talk to you like that..."
She said sniffing and he chuckled.
"It's okay... You are the only one who can yell and curse at me and still get away with it..."
He kissed her forehead.
"I love you..."
She mumbled and placed her head on his shoulder like a toddler.
Xavion hugged her and sighed at her behavior, he knows that it's just for seconds in few minutes she will again yell at him for something.
'where the fuck is Nora?'
He cursed internally as the witch hasn’t arrived yet.
Eira looked at the door when they heard knock on the door.
"It must be Nora..."
Xavion said. Eira sat on the bed and xavion opened the door. The mid age witch was standing at the door. She has curly black hair and brown eyes. She had a long and big purse over her shoulder.
"I apologize Alpha... But it was little difficult to come at last moment."
"It's ok... Just check her. She is acting weird..."
He pointed at Eira who was looking at both of them.
Nora looked at her and entered the room standing in front of Eira. She placed her purse on the side table and turned towards xavion.
"You should leave us alone my Alpha... So, I can check her throughout... There are some procedures which I can't perform in front of you..."
She suggested in most polite way.
"I am her mate... I don't think there is anything which you can't do in front of me..."
He countered.
"Yes, I know but I have to do some checkups which might cause some pain to her and I don't know if your wolf can handle that. It might become aggressive and attack me."
She replied.
"It won't be any problem..."
He clearly denied staying out.
"Xavion, please... I'll be fine..."
Eira assured.
"But___"
He was trying to deny but her expressions turned slightly annoyed.
"Go xavion..."
She scowled and he groaned.
"Fine..."
He growled and get out, slamming the door shut behind him.
"What happened brother?..."
Aron asked as he saw him frustrated.
"I don't know what's wrong with her man... She is acting weird. You are lucky that your mate is not aggressive like mine. Trust me it's different kind of hell..."
Xavion Groaned and walked away while Aron's face turned hard thinking about his mate.
Nora smiled at Eira.
"Please lie down luna..."
Eira hesitated before complying; she wasn't feeling safe without Xavion. She instantly regretted sending him out.
"It's okay... You don't need to panic or worry about anything. I'll do some basic things and we will be done."
Nora assured and Eira followed her instructions.
Nora checked her heartbeats.
"Are you feeling hungry now days... Have you gain weight and mood swings..."
"Yes..."
Eira replied.
"Are you sexually active... Don't mind me but it's a part of check up. When was the first time you mate with the Alpha..."
Nora questioned.
Eira's heart started beating rapidly as she got the hint why she is asking that.
"It's been one month and yes I am sexually active..."
"I see... Are you using any birth control like some herbs or something like humans use..."
She inquired and Eira gulped down nervously shaking her head.
"No... We didn't use anything..."
Eira answered as her forehead started sweating.
"By looking at you I am sure you know what the cause of your health problems is."
Nora smiled while Eira's face turned pale.
"You are pregnant Luna... We are soon going to have our future Alpha..."
Nora declared excitingly.
"I am pregnant?!..."
Eira asked in shock.
"Yes, it's been two weeks and it's normal to show symptoms like this... You will have mood swings for almost one more month. Your body will swell on specific parts but it's nothing to worry about its normal..."
She explained taking out some juice and herbs from her purse.
"And you will feel hungry more than before as now you are eating for four lives..."
"Four?..."
Eira almost yelled in shock.
"Yes, you are going to give birth to three pups..."
Nora smiled at her and Eira's face turned horrified which Nora noticed.
"You shouldn't be scared Luna... I understand that it's your first time and sometimes it's terrifying but it's not that bad... It's just a matter of three months..."
Eira frowned confused.
"Three?... How?..."
Nora chuckled at her question.
"You are a wolf not human... Wolf's gestation period is only three month... You will give birth in three months..."
Eira nodded in understanding.
"Alpha will be very happy... I'll inform him too..."
Eira's eyes snapped towards her.
"No... Don't tell xavion about it..."
