Third Person’s POV
Damon wore a black overcoat paired with white chinos and a pair of white leather low-top sneakers. He looked at himself in a full-body mirror and fixed his hair before he finally walked out of his walk-in closet. He took his car keys above his side table and he’s ready. He canceled all of his plans today and finished all of his paper works last night just to make sure that he won’t be missing his most awaited event. “Tell Edward to leave all the papers in my office.” He said to one of his maids before he finally stepped inside his car and started driving.
He badly wants to see Eris already that’s why he really made sure that nothing would go on his way. He hasn’t called or texted her yet just to make sure that she’ll get surprised after seeing him.
Then his phone rang again, “Furlord.”
“Hello, Damon sweetheart?”
“Mom?”
“Can we meet each other tonight?”
“I already have made plans today mom, can we just move it next week?”
He heard her sigh over the phone, “Okay, just promise to bring your girlfriend this time, okay?”
“Okay.”
“Alright, bye my sweet Damon!”
“Bye.”
His mom and dad used to live in Australia, managing their own business there while they left Damon alone to be able to stand at his own feet and play the role of the CEO of his own built company. They didn’t imagine that he would be able to build such a great company even if he’s still young. But he was very dedicated, he never wants to be on the last list. He did everything from scratch, with his excellent skill in marketing and dealing with people, he made it. He made a name for himself.
Claiming the title of being the youngest and most successful self-made CEO in the country.
Good thing Eris did send him her address. He parked his car in front of a grey suburban house and stepped out of it. As soon as he walked outside his car, he saw so many people outside the house busy talking and laughing with each other. He walked towards them without any emotion on his face, holding a bouquet of red roses in his hand. “Excuse me, is this Eris’s welcoming party?”
The women looked in his direction and looked at each other first before looking at him again with wide eyes, “D-Damon Furlord?!”
“E-Er.. yes. I’m Damon Furlord. Can you tell me where Eris is?”
“Oh, you mean Mira? She’s inside, you can come in. For sure she’s been waiting for you too.” Said the woman holding a glass of red wine in her right hand.
“Thanks,” Damon said before finally walking inside. Everyone shifted their gazes at him as soon as they saw an incredibly handsome man holding a bouquet of roses in his hands while walking towards Mira who’s busy talking and laughing with her friends in the kitchen.
“Isn’t that Damon Furlord?”
“You mean the youngest CEO in the country?”
“Oh My God, he is so handsome and hot as hell!”
Damon ignored all the eyes on him and stared at the woman sitting on a stool at a bar counter, wearing a pink lace dress. She still looks the same, she looks so amazing, the most beautiful woman in the eyes of Damon Furlord. When she found his gaze, she automatically widened her eyes and stood up. “Lemon!!”
“Hi.”
Eris ran towards him and hugged him tightly. “God, I thought you wouldn’t make it, I’ve missed you so much, Lemon!”
“I missed you too.” He mumbled while patting her shoulders. Eris moved away from him, “You already changed, you looked…you look so handsome now. I wasn’t able to recognize you at first!”
Damon laughed, “Really, well you still look the same. You still look like a teenager who’s willing to cry over ice cream.”
“Oh come on, can’t we just forget about that?!” they both laughed.
“Uh-hum! Looks like someone hasn’t introduced this oh-so-handsome and hot man here?” Alice, one of Eris’s best friends suddenly said.
“O-Oh, I’m so sorry guys. By the way Lemon, these are my best friends, this one’s Alice, this one’s Amber, Khloe, Britz, Jackie, and this one’s Daphne. Guys, this is Damon Furlord, my first ever best friend.”
Yes, that word slapped Damon on the face. “Hi,” Damon said to her friends.
“Hi! Nice to meet you Mr. Furlord! You are so handsome!”
“I’ve already heard a lot about you, and all of them were good!”
Damon forced a smile even though he really hates being around people like them. “Really? Thanks.”
“So, Lemon? Would you like to take a seat and join us here?” Eris asked him.
He was hesitating at first but since it was Eris who asked him, he had no choice but to just agree. “O-Okay.”
Sunny’s POV
“Here, serve these to the people outside, okay? Make sure you’ll wear a smile on your face while serving them.” Mom said to me as she handed me a tray of ten glasses of red wine.
I rolled my eyes as I took it, “Yes, your highness.”
“Sunny, show some energy! The visitors might leave early if you act like that while serving them.”
Whatever. That’s what I actually want to happen so that I could already take this stupid dress off and get my USB. I walked outside and served the wines to the people there. “Please enjoy the party,” I said, forcing a smile onto my face.
“Are you Mira’s little sister? Oh, you look so cute!”
“You look exactly like her when she was just thirteen!”
“Enjoy,” I said then I stepped inside the house again. I even saw dad dancing while serving his signature recipe of carbonara to Mira’s friends. He really likes showing off.
“Oh, there’s my little sister! SUNSUN! Come here!”
Ugh. Now here’s another one. I walked lazily towards the kitchen. “What?”
“Guys, this is my younger sister. Sunny. But you can also call her Summer or SUNSUN.” Said Mira to her friends. Sunny forced a smile on her face, “H-Hi.”
“She looks prettier than you, Mira!”
“Right, I didn’t know you have such a cute little sister!”
“Guys, this woman’s already eighteen,” Mira said.
All of her friends were surprised and looked at me, “EIGHTEEN?!”
Most people often tell me that I look like a thirteen- or sixteen-year-old girl. I’m not that small but maybe the glass that I am wearing made me look younger. Thanks to the glasses. “By the way, Lemon. I haven’t introduced my younger sister to you, right? Here she is, Lemon, this is Sunny. Sunny, this is Damon.”
D-Damon?
My eyes automatically widened as soon as I saw the face of the man that Mira introduced to me. It was clear on his face that he got surprised too. “Y-YOU?!”
