Sunny’s POV
“So, Damon Furlord is your boyfriend?” Natalie asked me while we were eating our lunch on the rooftop.
I badly want to tell her that Damon is not really my boyfriend but then that devil threatened me a while ago and told me we should make everyone believe that we really have a relationship, even to Natalie. “Y-Yes, he is my boyfriend.”
“You don’t know how lucky you are, Sunny. Do you know how everyone is going crazy over him? He is the greatest Damon Furlord, the youngest and most handsome self-made CEO in the country!” Natalie cooed.
“Well, I don’t think that’s a big deal. He’s just a normal man, anyway. He farts, he eats stinky foods, he himself stinks sometimes, he frowns, he gets mad, he looks ugly sometimes.” I said while eating my sandwich.
Natalie then laughed, “I don’t think there’s even a chance of him to look ugly. His face is just so perfect, there’s no way he would look ugly even he just woke up in the morning.”
“You really think he’s that handsome? I don’t even find him handsome at all.”
Well, I’m sure you won’t find him handsome anymore when you get to know his attitude. That asshole is such a two-faced monkey.
“You don’t really know how lucky you are. For sure everyone’s getting envious of you. Just look at those people around us, they are looking at you.” She whispered. I looked around us and realized that she was right. Is that really a big deal?
“Sunny, I have a question for you.”
“H-Huh? What is that?”
Natalie leaned closer to me as she spoke, “Did the two of you already kiss?”
I almost choked from my lemon tea when she said that, good thing I have tissue beside me, “And why would I even kiss that bastard?! I-I mean, n-no, we haven’t.”
“R-Really? Well, that is strange.”
“What is so strange about that?”
“Well, aside from people in a romantic relationship usually do sweet things with each other, you are an erotic romance writer too.”
I wrinkled my brows, “And?”
“And that means you have experience. You can’t write something you haven’t experienced yet, right?”
“Of course, I can. I write stories based from what I have read, I observed from people, and what I have watched. Writing a sex scene doesn’t mean I already had sex with someone, Natalie. Wait, do you really think I will agree to have sex with someone I am not married with?”
Natalie shook her head, “O-Of course not, I-I don’t think of you like that, Sunny.”
“You know, my parents might be so pushy about me getting a boyfriend, but they always remind me not to do things that are not appropriate especially when I’m not yet married with that someone.”
Just kidding, my parents even expected me to have sex with that asshole. That is just my own belief.
But Natalie seemed to believe me, “I know that, Sunny.”

“What now? Do you feel dizzy? Do you feel like throwing up or is something aching?” that was the first question of my mom as soon as I stepped inside our house.
I rolled my eyes, “Mom, I just slept in their house and we didn’t sleep in the same room.”
“YOU DIDN’T?!” Dad joined in.
“Mom, Dad, do you really think I will do that?!”
“Well, I’m surprised that you didn’t,” said Mom as she walked towards the kitchen.
I looked at dad, “You too, dad?”
“Of course not. I know you and you will never do something that would disappoint me. After all you are my sunsun!!”
“Ah, my daddy!!” I cooed as I hugged him tightly. “I know you are the only one I have and the only one who trusts me.”
“Oh really, dad? If only you saw how worried he was last night, he even said that we should already prepare ourselves because nine months from now, there will definitely be a small kid running around the house.” Mira suddenly said as she slumped on the couch, eating macaroons.
I glared at my dad, “I’m so disappointed with you, dad. I thought I already have someone who understands me, but I was wrong. Ah, why did I end up having a family that doesn’t support me and believes everything that I say? Life is so unfair!”
“That’s what you get from reading too many novels.” Said mom.
“Well, that truth is, Sunny, wash the dishes now. There are so many plates there waiting for you.” Said Mira which made me roll my eyes at her.
Sometimes I really think if I am in the right family.
I put my bag on the couch and started washing the dishes. “By the way, Sunny. Can you go to the mall with me tomorrow? Henry’s birthday is just a week from now, I need you to think of a substantial gift I could give him.”
I almost forgot about that. Henry’s birthday is already next week, he’ll be turning 24 already. I wonder what gift should I give him too? He used to love scarves and bonnets. Maybe I should knit one for him? Maybe that’s what I should do.
“Sunny, your phone is ringing.” Dad said then he handed me my phone. “The name says demon, you’re in contact with a demon? Did you already sell your soul to them?”
“Yes, dad. And I also told them that if ever I cannot fulfill my promise to them, they can just have you instead.” I kidded, which made mom and Mira laughed.
I wiped my hands using a towel and glanced at my phone. Why does he need to call me every single time?!
“What do you want from me?” I asked.
“Hi babe! What are you doing right now?”
“Well, I’m just plotting my plans about killing someone. Want to know who that is?”
I heard him sigh before speaking again, “Mom invited you to go to her birthday next week.”
“W-What?”
“It’s on Thursday. I’ll just pick you up.”
“Thursday? But---H-Hey!”
He already hanged up the phone. That man doesn’t really know about good manners and right conduct!
