As I stepped outside, my gaze drifted toward the passage leading to her kitchen, making me remember that time I had sex with her mother there. I shook the thought away and walked out.

She grabbed one end of the blanket, and I took the other, squeezing out the water.

Just as we finished, her baby started crying inside the house. She rushed in, leaving me to hang the blanket. Once I was done, I knocked on her door.

A while later, I returned with plastic bags of meat, vegetables, and a few extras.
"I’m back," I called, stepping inside.
"If it’s not too much trouble, could you put the meat on the stove? I’m still bathing," she shouted from the other room—my old room.
I groaned but did it anyway.
Then, she emerged.
Her sleek black hair dripped with water, cascading over her shoulders. She looked stunning.
She was poor and struggling, sure.
But l could say, she is easily more beautiful than Ivy who lives fancy. With a fancy lifestyle, she’d be one of the most breathtaking women in this kingdom.
"Thank you so—"
Before she could finish, she slipped.
With a yelp, she crashed to the floor.

She stood, letting the towel slip from her shoulders, pooling at her feet. I grinned like a devil! My skill was in effect!

"Would you... mind giving me a little more of your time?" she asked softly, stepping toward me—only to trip on some plates on the floor and crash down again.
I chuckled. "You really are clumsy, aren’t you?"
