Third Pov.
They all turned around and saw the old King making them wonder whether they were so loud that he was even woken up.
“Why are you all standing here?” Aren’t you supposed to be sleeping at this hour?’ he asked once more when he neared them but they lowered their heads out of guilt.
“Daddy, you really can’t blame us for wanting to spend time together can you?” Aurora asked coquettishly as she held her dad’s hand firmly.
Looking at how her daughter was behaving, the old man shook his head and sighed since he knew that she was never up to no good every time she came to this floor. He kept thinking about what she was up to, whether she was discovered or whether both Elana and Marcus were in that with her. He had heard some words thus he had an idea of what was going on.
“Your majesty, we…”
Elana tried to explain but was interrupted by him.
“Why are you still calling me that even when I said that both of you are now my kids? As your father, aren't all of you supposed to call me dad? Or father? Or even better act the way she does,” the old man said as he stared at her.
Hearing this, Elana bit her lower lip as she didn’t know what to do. Aurora, on the other hand, stuck her tongue out mischievously.
“Well, since you know what you told them, how can you not realize that we are now a family? As your children, if we want to stay awake the whole night as we spend time together, be mischief, get to know each other better, I guess there is no problem with that,” Aurora said.
“Okay. But can’t you and Aiden just let them rest first? After all, there will be a lot of time in the future,” he said.
Knowing that if she kept insisting she might end up making her dad angry, Aurora wisely agreed with him.
“You better think that you can deceive me but you forget that I am your father and I knew you so well,” he added, making Aurora look at him with questioning eyes.
“Every time you come up here you are always not up to anything good. You always cause trouble or make things difficult for your brother,” he said.
“Was I the one who told him to become the firstborn? If I don’t disturb him then who will I disturb? I have no mate thus I will always disturb him till I get one to always disturb,” Aurora replied with a frown on her face making the others chuckle at her words.
“Anyways, I was not here for him today. Now that I have got a new best friend, be sure that I will be coming up here more frequently. With or without any permission. No, since both Elana and Marcus have a room here, I also want a room,” she said as she pouted.
“No,” Aiden said immediately, making everyone look at him.
“Brother, don’t you love me anymore now that you have found yourself a mate?” Aurora asked as she pretended to cry.
Seeing her crying, Marcus had to admit that all female last-borns were troubled when he remembered that Leila too always acts in the same manner to get what she wants.
“Don’t think that I don’t know why you are here so you better stop faking tears since I won’t fall for them,” Aiden said stunning Aurora as she didn’t think that he knew what she was trying to do.
“What am I trying to do? Dad, can you hear how he talks to me after getting a mate and becoming the king?” Aurora said as she continued with her cries softening the old man’s heart.
“This has nothing to do with that and you know it,” Aiden said, trying his best not to sound irritated even though he was.
“Why do you care when you already got what you wanted? Since you did, there is no way I will let you also get your way in this too,” Aurora said.
The old king looked at his children as he wondered what they were arguing about. As far as he knew, Aurora, as the spoiled princess of the kingdom, had a room on each floor thus it didn’t matter whether she wanted to sleep there or not. She could do whatever she wanted. Her big brother was the one to blame since he had spoiled her too much since she was a kid.

“I made love to Leila even after knowing that she is not fully recovered. He is too impatient for a man like him,” Aurora said as she glared at him.
Both Elana and Marcus gave her a thumbs up, Leila blushed profusely while the old man looked at his son with displeased eyes since he was not happy with what he had done.
“I never got what I wanted, dammit! I haven’t mated with her yet,” Aiden said angrily since he did not want to tell them at first since he felt embarrassed and ashamed but now he didn’t have any other way out of this.
Hearing this, they were all stunned apart from Leila who felt ashamed. They were talking about her affairs even in her presence without being considerate of how she felt.
“What! How is that possible? I saw Leila blushing. You are lying to us so as not to make dad not disappointed in you.
Aiden felt as if he could slap her so that she could just keep quiet and at the same time wondered when his sister became so annoying.
“He is speaking the truth,” Leila said in a low voice.
They were all in disbelief and looked at Aiden as they wondered whether he was impotent.
Knowing what was on their mind, Aiden sighed and said, “I could have lost control and mated with her if we didn’t hear your arguments with Madeline.”
