My body moved without any hesitation, the feeling of sliding a Goblin's neck wasn't anything to get sad or disgusted for, making a Goblin's head explode through a Mana Bullet was something that I had to do, stomping on the head of a Goblin had to be done, all of the things I am doing inside this dungeon must be done, to not be weak.

My back slowly rose from the Goblin I had stabbed with my knife, it seems that until I use it correctly, using a knife just to stab things won't give a skill, but that doesn't matter right now, I'm growing much faster than I had ever done while being outside.
Moving back to the Goblin Village, I scouted for any more groups that were detached from the rest, but they seemed to have noticed the absence of their friends, which made them more alert and unlikely to fall for the same trick with Vocal Mimic.
'Shit, they are all too near each other, I need to do something to make them panic and lose their focus.'
I continued looking around the village, searching for something I could use to advantage, until I remembered something, dry furs and sticks are very flammable, and among the things I brought from my old house, there was a lighter.

'Ok, that might have gone way better than I thought, who the fuck expected the Goblins to have that many children inside the huts, and for them to fucking yeet the children outside while still being on fire, in the hope to stop the fire, only make it even worse.'
The few remaining Goblins seemed more intelligent than the rest, keeping away from the fire and listening to another Goblin, much older than the rest and wearing a black ragged cloak, holding a stick with a human skull right on its tip.
As if moving through strings, the older Goblin suddenly snapped towards me, his finger exactly between my eyes, moving purely on instinct I rolled to my left, where I previously was a bolt made of dark fire burned the tree I had put my back against, but the fire didn't exactly burn, it withered, it's energy seemingly getting absorbed by the Goblin.
The remaining Goblins rushed towards me, their eyes filled with bloodlust and sadness at what I had caused to their village.
Before they could even reach me I had already summoned two Mana Bullets, one hitting a Goblin right in the head, making its head explode and covering the other Goblins in its blood and brain matter, the other instead didn't go exactly where I wanted it to and instead pierced the shoulder of a Goblin, making his arm unusable.
One of the Goblins finally reached me, instead of simply jumping, he used the longer reach of his sword to try and stab me, a stab that I swatted away with my knife, followed by a straight to its face, dealing enough damage to make him lose a tooth or two.
Bleeding Status Effect (You will lose 5HP/s for 1 minute)
I felt two swords go through both of my legs, my mind remained focused when I evoked a bullet to kill one of the two goblins, and used my knife to pierce the other goblin's head, leaving the knife behind to quickly avoid the Black Bolt summoned by the Shaman.
Summoning another knife I go for the kill on the Goblin I had thrown to the ground with a punch, sealing the deal.
Getting up from the ground I looked at the last Goblin, our eyes met each other, and his eyes were filled with pure hate, I had just killed his whole village, his friends, his family, and mine were as cold as ice, the disgust I am supposed to feel at what I had done numbed down to make me remain calm.
We cast at the same time, instead of his usual Black Bolt, smoke came out of his staff covering the whole area, my bullets flew towards him only to hit nothing.
I evoked another two bullets but didn't let go of them, my mind hurting because of the unreleased spell, but still focused on my surroundings.
A black bolt directly hits me in the shoulder, my clothes getting destroyed in the process, and my control over the bullet trembles under the unexpected hit.
'Shit, focus Adrian, or this will you will be your tomb.'
Closing my eyes, I used my other senses, even if I can't see, I can hear, I can smell, I can feel.
Another bolt hits my right leg, making me kneel on the ground, but I didn't open my eyes, my body feeling like shit signalling my HP going under the half mark.
I felt my body as my own, my control over my functions peaking under the stressful situation, what I could do being enchanced by the adrenaline coursing through my veins, my mind sharper than ever before.
And then it pinged, my eyes opened and I threw everything I had, my knife flew from my hand, the bullets flying faster than ever before.

My surroundings crumbled, making me return to the previous white room, the bodies of the goblins I had killed, and the damage I had caused with the fire, were all gone, the only proof of what I had caused were my memories of it.
The doors of the Danger Room opened, a concerned Ororo, Logan, and Charles all coming inside.
" I told you I could do it," I said while smiling at Logan.
