The following 5 days passed in the blink of an eye, and my relationship with everyone in the mansion continued developing, the kids being the easiest to please thanks to my fluffy raven form.
And I surely didn't stay still in this time, after the incident with the Danger Room Logan took it upon himself to teach me how to fight, and fuck is he both a good and bad teacher, he has the skills, but he speaks like a dead monkey and can't explain things.
My resistance training also went well. I gained a new one because of my training with Logan, and my development of HPDR was easier thanks to Rogue's training with her powers and changing the intensity. She can change it from 1 HP/s to 10 HP/s, we didn't try going any higher because of the possible risks.
To ensure my mental stats stayed sharp, I requested help on my subjects from the mansion's teachers. I also took up chess to enhance my Wisdom, playing matches with Professor X whenever possible, and with Logan as well. It turns out Logan learned the game during the war—I'm not sure which one—but he has kept playing casually over the years.
I was eager to explore the new feature of the Danger Room that became available after the last quest. However, Logan has prohibited me from going there until he believes I'm capable, stating I need to prove that I can, as he puts it, "I can't even fight off one of the little kids." So, no dungeon for me. Considering my weakness, perhaps it's a wise decision.
I was even lucky enough to make Copy Cat work once and get a new skill called parkour, which improves my reflexes and agility while running.
At the dawn of the sixth day, once again at 6 am on the dot, I opened my eyes swatting away the notification that annoyed me every morning and hurriedly changed clothes through my inventory, something I had picked up on after gaining my coat, and went outside for my everyday run.
My body felt like never before, the world looked more colourful, and my mind felt sharper than ever, doing something I hadn't done in a while I took a look at my full status to check my progress.

'Yep, nothing feels better than seeing your improvement.' I thought, while smiling and just when I was about to start my run, I saw one of the older teens reaching the mansion, which was strange considering the time.
" Hey Robert, you okay? Usually, you are not up this early."
The boy looked at me with a smile on his face, his body completely relaxed and not showing any anxiety or worry, his eyes even were natural and did not show any hesitation, but his voice, something ticked me wrong.
" No, I just had a nightmare and wanted some fresh air."
It didn't just sit right in my mind, something told me something was wrong, something told me that if I hadn't done something bad things would happen, and so I tested the waters.
" You had a nightmare? Want to pet my sparrow form to relax a little?" I said while smiling, hinting that it was a joke
" Nah." He said while smiling and rolling his eyes
" Perfect, but Robert, one thing, I turn into a raven, not a sparrow, you should know since you are obsessed with birds." My face fell, the calmness provided by The Gamer settling in while my coat was ready to be equipped any second.
Robert's face just as quickly as mine did, and from his previous shape, a woman with blue skin, red hair, yellow-coloured pupils, a golden tiara on her head, and a white dress that showed all of the forms.
" Bummer, I thought you could have been fooled like the others." She said, while stretching, most likely trying to use her sex appeal to catch me off guard, that won't work.
" Last time I checked smurfs are supposed to be smaller," I said while moving my hand behind my back, one of the knives from my old house appearing from my inventory.
" Not the first time someone says that, and surely not the last." She ended her stretches and looked back at me, a sultry smile on her face while her eyes looked at me like I was nothing more than a piece of meat.
" Aren't you tired of these people telling you what to do and how to use your powers?" She asked me, her words came out faster than normal, most likely she had the words imprinted on her tongue because of how many times she must have said it.
" Sorry Smurfette, ain't going to work with me."
" Worth the try, even though we don't have a Cerebro, we have our ways of knowing when a mutant appears, and you, my dear Adrian, are quite a powerful one." She took slow steps towards me, her fingers touching my chest and playing with my clothes, she was a bit shorter than me, just a few centimetres, but at that moment she felt taller.
'I can't attack her, she feels like Logan, one wrong move and I will get this knife stuck in my neck.' I thought while storing the knife back in my inventory.
" Mama warned me of people like you, cougars."
" You got a mouth that is sure, you want me to rip your tongue off." Her hand moved up to my chin and moved my face closer to hers, the words were whispered to my ear and, ice ran down my spine, I knew she was saying the truth.
" How about we have a chat at my place? I have friends who would like to meet you." Her voice made my whole body tremble for a second, my mind still trying to figure out a way to get out of here, until I didn't need to do that.
A low growl came from inside the mansion, and dashing like a mad beast came Logan with his claws out and lunging for the woman, who easily evaded and formed some distance.
" Well, until next time then." After that, she vanished.
I finally began breathing again, a feeling of weakness filling my body, the feeling of once again being close to death had been caused by it, by my weakness.
" Are you okay, kid? We need to talk with Charles."
" Yeah, yeah I am fine."
This feeling had to disappear.
