Daniel bit his lip as he smiled, “well, things have been happening that kept me from smiling or being calm, but now I feel like everything can be fine. The doors of the hospital are packed with journalists and paparazzi. Simone and Daniel entered through the back door that was opened just for them.
"How are they?" She asked when she arrived with the attending doctor.
"Mr. Meyer is in surgery, the accident caused a lot of damage, we're doing our best." Daniel put one hand to her mouth and the other to her belly. Simone hugged her tightly, “but her friend hasn't had the same fate. He died on the spot.” Daniel felt her world collapse.
