Daniel unsettled and somewhat frightened by Yazahib's reaction, she rushed into the house to look for her bag and go after him and find out what was wrong.
Patricia, seeing her so accelerated, stopped her and looked at her concerned, Daniel instead denied and turned away from the woman while apologizing to her. Has that bad man sent him a message? Is Yazahib in danger and hasn't told her anything? Could it be that this man forced him to run away like that? The questions invaded Daniel's head, if it is her doubts they are correct, she is bowling crazy because she knows that he will do everything possible to keep her safe as well as their daughter.
Yazahib arrived at the building and like a fury he entered, the secretary tried to speak to him, but he simply ignored her, now he don't have time for it, he must solve as soon as possible the damn matter that has made his perfect day, one fucking bitter.
Derek looked at his friend and like any reasonable person, kept his distance from him. Yazahib looked at those present and with firm and imposing steps, he approached the table without stopping looking at them, after taking a seat they all settled in and yet, not one dared to speak, they know very well how Yazahib's reaction will be. Meyer and no one in the world would like to be his enemy without even having a slight advantage over him.
"Well?" He looked at them coldly. "Will you tell me who was responsible for this?" Each member of the committee looked at him and one bravely took the floor.
“We do not know sir, but those of the Ministry of Labor are over us, we must take the appropriate measures or we will be sanctioned. A rule was broken and we can't get out of this if we don't give them what they want.”
Yazahib deepened his eyebrow and looked at Caroline who was head of the departments and involved in everything related to the subject, “well.”
She felt uncomfortable because of Yazahib's gaze, “we should look for a solution, we can't do what they want just like that,” she wanted to defend against her will.
"This will devastate her," Derek said, “someone here filed a complaint and we must find who. They want to take one of the best architects away from us,” he grunted in a bad mood, “there is certainly someone here who wants to see us badly. If this makes the news, it won't be good.”
“If we do what they ask us, that will be avoided,” said the female member of the committee, “we can't risk something like that,” she looked at Yazahib, “she is his wife, the mother of his daughter and the favoritism will be seen.”
Yazahib glared at her, “it's not favoritism, she's good at her job,” he clarified furiously.
“But she has been hired pregnant and also she has not finished her studies so she is not a professional,” answered one of the men, “she only attends the university and those clandestine courses.” Those words were well silenced deep down to Yazahib .
"Clandestine, you say?" he growled, his voice like an icy winter, "My wife pays for her studies and her courses, pampering that is not cheap and is fully qualified by the student ministry. That she has not graduated yet, or that she continues to attend those courses is not because she is just a rookie. She does it because she wants to be the best and she is!” He looked at them angrily but calmly, he can't lose control, “she was employed here before she got pregnant and her contract never ended,” he looked into their eyes, “I just came here to know what you are capable of,” he sighed indifferently, “but you are not capable of anything. You are fired,” he looked at Caroline, “I entrust you with finding a new committee and find the person who denounced the company and asked for my wife to be fired. For no reason will I leave her without a job and deprive my company of an excellent architect.”
“But sir,” a man wanted to intervene, but stopped when Yazahib looked him straight in the eyes.
“That, I did not expect,” Derek smiled happy because his friend had already resolved thing, “Caroline ...” he looked at her mockingly, “time to do your precious work,” he winked and got up, then he looked at Yazahib and when he looked away, decided to get out of there. He still hasn’t forgiven him.
Yazahib watched Derek leave and then looked away in the direction of Caroline who is the only one not to take her ass off the chair, he frowned in question, “why didn't I know that detail?” Now he raised his eyebrows at that question, “I'm supposed to be covering Hills, I should know everything,” he played with his beard while he looked at her in detail, causing a shiver in her.
“Then I must say that you do not do your job well, at the end of the day I think I will also fire you,” Carolina opened her eyes so big they hurt.
“You can't do that, you can't just fire me for not knowing a detail like that,” when she saw him get up and approach her, she wanted to back away, but Yazahib put his hands on each side of the chair and stopped her. “For your sake, I hope it was not you who made this play so low,” Caroline's heart became chaotic, “because if so, I will not only fire you, I will make your life a miserable hell. I forgave you even though you will killed my son, but I will never forgive you for hurting the woman I love,” those words provoked Caroline, she was sad and angry that she wanted to cry. How is it possible that Daniel worth more than his son? That damn woman is becoming a serious problem and she can't help it, maybe she failed this time, but she will somehow screw her and she will make her walk away from Yazahib.
“It hurts that you think that of me, I would never do something like that ...” she looked at him still crying so that her words are more believed, “the company will denounce, do you think I would attack the place that has given me everything?”
Yazahib frowned, she is right, she lives and dies for the company, it has always been that way and it was what made him fall in love at that time. “I give you two days to bring me the culprit, and two hours to settle the matter with the Ministry of Labor,” he moved away from her and seeing that she will not get up from her seat, he look at her with warning and Caroline got up hurriedly.
Daniel gasped when the woman ran over her so roughly, Caroline growled in a bad mood, she wants to make her disappear from the damn map once and for all.
“Ella Zorra,” she whispered through her teeth without Daniel hearing her and left there, she does not want to enrage Yazahib, now she must not only clean up the mess that she caused herself, but she must also look for a person responsible to clear the name of her.
“Love,” Daniel looked at Yazahib with some fear, she does not want to argue, but she must ask, “why did you leave like that? Why didn't you tell me anything and leave me behind?”
Yazahib looked at his queen and smiled, he couldn't tell her what's going on or she would get upset, “I'm sorry my queen,” Daniel breathed in relief to hear him speak to her with love, “I had to come running and did not want to worry you, the best thing was to ignore you so that you would not insist. If I had explained to you, you would have convinced me to bring you and the least I want is to cause tension in you.”
Daniel hit his chest and laughed, “leaving me like that caused a lot of concern, I thought something was really wrong," she wanted to cry, believing that this bad man could have done something to provoke Yazahib's relationship terrified her.
“I'm sorry baby, next time I'll tell you what happens,” he kissed her head and thought about how to punish the person responsible for that stupid act, “Can we talk about bringing back your bodyguard?”
Daniel tensed when she heard that, she can't allow it, the idiot was so annoying and so she forbade it, “no, you don't have to put protection on me,” he looked into his eyes, “all is fine honey, nothing will happen to me, I promise,” she smiled with love although she looks annoyed, he really feels the need to protect her, he has been a little strange and that worries her a lot.
“Okay, but I won't give up,” he kissed her lips and bit them lightly.
