Yazahib addressed the board with Derek and Caroline, going up the elevator Caroline could not resist her poison. "When are you going to get tired of being so pathetic?" Derek and Yazahib looked at her confused. "That woman will lead you to your downfall Yazahib, you can leave her now that you still have time."
Yazahib looked at her coldly, "I think the one who will be finished here is you. You say one more word about Daniel or about our relationship and say goodbye to working here.” He took a step and stood in front of her. Caroline took two more steps back, “don't tempt me, you know regrets for me don't work,” the elevator opened its doors and Yazahib came out next to Derek, leaving Carolina frozen watching them walk away.
How can he threaten her like that? Why does he have to defend her so much? He never defended her that way, even when he said that he was very much in love with her, he never defended her like that. That is why she cheated on him, that is why she aborted her son, he was never jealous of her, he never forbade anything from her, he never protected her from her as he protects Daniel, he never cared for her as he cares for her that bitch.
When the elevator was closing its doors, Caroline came back to reality and stopped them to get out. The day that Daniel suffers as she should will be her happiest day, but now she must make that dream possible.
Investors looked at the newcomers and stood up, finally the great Yazahib Meyer agreed to see them and they did not cancel the meeting. "Thank you for having us" thanked one of the men who wants to be an investor.
"It was nothing, I have a little time. Make it quick,” everyone took their seats and the man's secretary handed a folder to Yazahib, Derek and Caroline.
“There you will see the project that we want to build under your seal. How you see it is a millionaire project, this project will be exclusively for people who aspire to success.”
Yazahib took a look at him and nodded, “well, we will."
They all looked at him with shock, the presentation is not over yet, why has he accepted them like that so quickly? He is always difficult, why now he has made it so easy? They all wondered and when they saw Yazahib get up nonchalantly, Caroline rushed after him.
“What are you doing?You have not even seen everything, you have not seen the figures or the percentage that will touch us for this. How could you accept anything like this?”
Yazahib stopped and looked into her eyes, he doesn't have time for this, “those investors are the best. They have multi-million dollar jobs, they have a high success rate and a very low scandal rate, why not accept them?”
Caroline looked at him distraught, “but you've been avoiding it for too long, if you wanted to work with them, why not do it at once?"
Yazahib snorted, “because they are the ones that need me, not me looking for them. Go in there and check that everything is in order, we'll start with this in two weeks.”
Derek left the room and looked as Caroline passed him with a disgusted expression. "Where are you going?" He asked when Yazahib looked at him, "don't tell me you'll be stupid enough to face Riquelme by yourself. You have no security, you have sent them all with Daniel.”
Yazahib shrugged, he is not an idiot, "I'm not going to him, I'm going to my wife."
Derek didn't believe his words so he followed him. "Well, then you won't mind if I make sure of that." He pressed the button without looking at Yazahib.
"It's not necessary," Yazahib insisted, "I'm not stupid," he clarified to convince him.
"Well, I expect anything from you. That bastard has played with Daniel and I don't think you'll stay that calm, and you won't call the police.”
Yazahib snorted, “of course I won't be quiet. That son of a bitch must pay for what he has done, she is pregnant and because of him she has been feeling bad. He must pay until the last thing he has done to him, but yes, I will collect it with my own hands.”
Derek nodded. "I agree, but you can't go alone."
Yazahib snorted before stepping off the elevator, "I told you I'm going home. I will find a way to neutralize Riquelme so that he does not carry out his plan. You must trust me.”
Derek walked into the office with Yazahib, “well, I'm going with you. We haven't had a few beers together in a long time.” Yazahib looked at him, “you know that's how we think better,” they both smiled, they were very surprised.

Derek rolled his eyes, he knows his friend won't trust him anymore, but he doesn't blame him, he won't deny that he loves Daniel. They both left the office and a pair of eyes looked happy when they got into the elevator.
"Go in the elevator, you can act." He closed the call and felt happy. Now is when everything starts.
Daniel slept for a few hours and felt much better. Now she has been able to sleep without the mobile announcing a message or an incoming call. Patricia served some food and went up to Daniel's room, her boss has called her to give her orders and she must comply.
"Hi," she greeted with a huge smile when she saw her sitting on the bed. "How are you feeling?”
