Daniel didn't speak to Derek the entire way. Derek only thought about the moment Yazahib came out and she saw him, will she jump into his arms? Will she show her love for him? Will Daniel be able to leave him for Yazahib? His friend said it clearly, he will come to get her back, she belongs to him.
He took a deep breath and decided not to think any more about what will happen. Either way, he will fight for Daniel's love, he is the one who has been by her side these last few months. Yazahib just took off and left her alone.
Simone frowned when he saw the door open and he was amazed to see them home so early. "Teddy, what's wrong?" He got up and ran up to her to hug her. Daniel began to cry in the arms of her friend.
"Only God knows how much I suffered for Yazahib, only you know how I felt and only Derek knows everything I went through to get over it. Why are people cruel to me?”
Simone looked at Derek and saw pain in his eyes, he knew it, his friend still holds Yazahib's love in her heart and her soul still waits for him. "Easy, Teddy, that hurts the baby." He caressed her belly. "You must calm down, think about the baby," he whispered affectionately into her ear.
"I'll go get water," Derek offered and Simone guided Daniel to the couch and hugged her tighter as he heard her sob.
“Everything will be fine, you only gave yourself a chance with a man who loved you despite everyone. Well, it was something quick, but who has not done something wrong in his life? No one can judge you, absolutely no one.” Daniel sobbed and released sadness through her tears.
Yazahib was reunited with Frank after seeing Daniel leave hugging Derek, he wanted to kill that stupid friend but stopped, he knows that Daniel does not like violence.
"I don't know what you're planning, boy." Frank looked at him, "but you have to be very careful. She has suffered a lot from your abandonment, I'm not happy about her relationship with Derek, he's your friend, but you left her alone and devastated, you forced her into this. Your abandonment threw her into someone else's arms.”
Yazahib frowned and glared at him, "I just wanted to clear my mind. She played with my feelings and my wishes.”
"And you abandoned her for that, you left her alone," he pointed out, he could remember when she opened up to him and told him everything about her. "She waited for you and you gave no sign of life."
"That doesn't justify what she did, Frank, she's with my best friend ... she only waited for me for a month."
“And you came back three months later, what did you want? That she will cry all the time for your absence? Is that your definition of love? Is this how you punish the love of your life?”
Yazahib for the first time felt bad, he did not stop to think how she would suffer from his absence, but even so he is very angry. "But I came back."
"With what face? What would you have done if she was alone? Do you think she would have forgiven you?” He questioned him, creating distrust in Yazahib. He had not thought about the possibility of a rejection, “today at the party do not make her angry, do not make her feel guilty and please her, be very careful when touching her.”
Yazahib was surprised at that, “why? Knowing Daniel, I will surely have to kidnap her so we can talk.”
Frank sighed deeply, “just treat her with care."
Yazahib looked at him intensely, why does he care so much about Daniel even when he barely knew her? “Well, now I must go, I have some errands to do.”
Frank nodded and got up, “come on, I have to go to get ready, too." Both men left the office and got into the elevator.
Daniel woke up with a little pain in her head, she is discouraged and she does not want to attend the party, but how can she miss her own party?
"Hi," Derek smiled as he entered the room. "How are you feeling?" He sat next to her on the bed.
"My head hurts a bit, but I'm fine." She sighed. "Time to go, right?" Derek nodded and stroked her belly.
"I don't know how you can tell, you have a flat stomach. Honey, you are four months pregnant and it shows…” Daniel smiled, Yazahib would have been very happy with that news that he did not receive because he did not show signs of life.
"Well, it's not big either," she looked at him, "I'd better get ready to go. Will Simone come with us or will he go later?”
"He left a couple of hours ago, he will see us there." Daniel sighed and got up with Derek's help, she should get ready.
Simone stared at the man in front of him with puzzled eyes at the amazement still in him, he just can't believe he's there, right in front of him after four months.
"Will you tell me how Daniel and Derek happened?" Yazahib asked. "I need to know how my wife forgot me so quickly."
Simone made a nonchalant gesture with his hand, “boy, she never forgot you, but she had to get on with her life. She waited for you and you didn't come. Look at you, you come four months later, very unfair of you.”
Yazahib frowned, “okay, don't say it anymore. I was angry, you can't blame me.”
"You could be angry near her, you didn't have to run away honey" Simone looked at him smiling "better tell me where you were and that she made you come back."
Yazahib snorted, Simone won't tell him anything he wants to know, “I came back for my wife and now it turns out that she is with my best friend. I'm going to kill him like a damn dying animal,” he growled annoyed, "he's a son of a bitch, she's mine.”
"Good honey, she's his." Simone put lemon on the wound "you left a wine and another drank it," he smiled when he saw Yazahib's gesture, he enjoyed knowing that he was ready for anything.
"She is my wife and I have been with her much longer, I know that when I am in front of her she will come into my arms," he said arrogantly.
"Good." Simone looked at his watch. "Come on, then, there's no time to lose." They both got up and left the restaurant.
Daniel and Derek are in the car listening to music and talking about how many people will be at the party. She was excited to know that her girls will be there, that makes her very happy.
Upon arrival, Frank met them and stayed by their side the entire distance, he knows that Yazahib can lose control and make a fuss at the place.
Yazahib and Simone arrived at the hotel and went to the room where Daniel's party is taking place. How always everyone was impressed to see Yazahib Meyer as imposing as ever. No one knew of his whereabouts and now he is there, in front of everyone.
"This is delicious." Daniel tasted a cheese that she had never tasted in her life, “but I want more,” without caring she took a plate and filled it with cheese.
"Don't eat that cheese so much darling." Frank smiled. "The baby may not like it." Daniel rolled her eyes.
"I still don't know if she's a girl,” she looked at Derek and Frank, “why are you so sure she's going to be a girl?" Both men laughed.
"Because she is as difficult as you," Derek replied laughing as Daniel ran to the bathroom to vomit.
"Go and distract Derek," Yazahib looked at Simone. "If you let him come, he'll surely end up in a fucking hospital." Simone shuddered, how is that man so violent?
"Treat my teddy well, Yazahib ..." Yazahib didn't hear him, he went after Daniel and waited for her outside the bathroom.
"My God," Daniel snorted when she finished vomiting what she had eaten. "Why do you make me vomit it all, darling?" She smiled after washing her mouth. “That's how difficult he is,” remembering Yazahib, a wave of sadness washed over her. She so much avoided getting pregnant and just when he left, she got pregnant. Why is fate so cruel? "I'd like you to hear his voice, it’s so thick and beautiful.” She widened her smile.
"Are you saying that this baby is Yazahib's?" Daniel was startled when she heard Caroline, “I can't believe it,” she looked at her mockingly.
"You're not interested in my life, leave me alone,” Daniel wiped her hands and tried to get out of bathroom but Caroline stopped her by holding her arm.
"You're a bloody bitch, Yazahib will not believe that this is his son, besides, you are the bitch who messed with his best friend.”
Daniel, angry at her hurtful words, slapped her with all her might, “stay out of my life, I don't have plans to love Yazahib again in my life. You can look for him and be the same slut without dignity that you are with him.”
Caroline angrily left the bathroom in such a hurry that she did not see Yazahib.
Daniel caressed her belly and closed her eyes to calm himself, how is it possible that this woman is so bad? How come she has so much poison? With her confused thoughts of Caroline, she stormed out of the bathroom and screamed when someone pulled her.
Yazahib looked into her eyes and felt his heart race. She is beautiful as always.
