Alexa will be starting her work with Anderson tomorrow, being a Sunday.
I'm so happy
Working as a maid to my role model is a dream come true.
I'm going to be sad a little though.
I'm going to be staying home alone from tomorrow.
No more big sis to play around and be stubborn with...
'You know she's always going to be around though .'
A voice spoke at the back of my mind.
"Yeah, she is... But it won't be like before. She'll probably sleep over at times." I mumbled back.
Soon, Alexa's voice boomed.
"Jace!"
"Here we go again."
I mumbled and rolled my eyes.
"I'm coming."
I replied as loud as I could, bolted out the door, and ran down the stairs.
"Hey, buddy."
Alexa called out as soon as I stepped into the living room.
"Hey, Lex."
I replied and walked towards the chair to sit.
"Guess what?"
Alexa asked looking all excited.
"What? You know I'm bad at guess games."
"I brought you something."
Alexa said.
I looked at her hands, and that was when I realized that she had folded her hands behind her.
I ducked my head a little to the left and caught sight of whatever she was hoping to give me as a surprise.
I smirked visibly.
Too visibly, Alexa noticed.
"What?"
She asked.
"Huh?"
I asked, confusion setting in at first.
"You've got a huge smirk on your face."
Alexa said.
I 'O'eed a bit before processing unto the next step - talking back.
"So?"
I asked and bit my lip when I realized I gave her that reply rudely.
I'm seen as rude.
Well, I wouldn't say I'm not, but most times, my words come off as rude... Even when I do not intend for it too!
"Jace! When will you stop being rude? I'm older than you for crying out loud!"
Alexa cautioned.
"I'm sorry"
I apologized.
"It's alright, but it ain't gonna stay that way if you don't tell me why you were smirking."
Alexa threatened with her brows furrowed funnily and I laughed.
Did I laugh?
Oh yes!
I did.
Alexa's threats were equal to a feather whenever she furrowed her brows the way she did.
One minute it could be laying rigid in one position, and in another, it could be tossed around helplessly by a wind.
"Why the heck are you laughing Jace?!"
She questioned in a firm tone.
That was a cue to set me straight or I was gonna get it... And I did!
I took the cue from her and stopped laughing immediately.
"Nothing. Just that furrowing your brows were damn funny."
I answered.
"So, you ready to yell why you were smirking back then?"
She asked.
"Yeah, yeah,"
I answered.
"So what's stopping you? Go on!."
"Well, the thing's that your surprise won't be much of a surprise again."
I said bluntly.
"Why do you say that? OMG, no Jace, no."
Alexa muttered and clutched her hands tightly on whatever she was holding.
"Yes Lexie, Yes. I saw the book you're holding behind you."
"No. Dang, it! It was supposed to be a surprise, but since you've seen it..." She paused awhile before losing her tight grip on the book and bringing her arms forward.
"Here, have it."
She completed and I collected it from her.
"OMG, Elena's latest edition on the SHADOWS BAN."
I screamed extremely excited and wowed.
"You like it huh?"
Alexa asked.
My eyes darted to her and met her gaze.
"Like? I love it."
I replied my excitement on the highest level.
"I figured you would."
She replied in that girly and excited voice.
I looked at her and she was blushing.
Wait, I'm the one who got a gift.
Shouldn't I be the one doing the blushing stuff?
Well, whatever.
"You don't know how happy I am. I've been waiting so long for the day I'd have one of Elena's books on my hands. I can't believe you got me the best."
I said teary-eyed.
"It's OK. I just wanted you to have and engage with it during the times I'd be at work."
Alexa smiled sweetly at me.
"Thank you, Lex."
"You're always welcome Hunny."
Alexa replied.
The Next Day...
6 AM.
'Wake up sleepy head, it's 6 o'clock. Wake up sleepy head, it's 6 o'clock.'
Alexa woke up and cursed silently.
"Fvck it."
"I can't believe it's 6 am already. I'm still tired and sleepy."
She muttered.
She reached out her hand and buzzed off the alarm clock ringing out.
Alexa got up from her bed and tried to make her way out of her bedroom, but after taking two steps, she plopped down to the floor hopelessly.
"Gawd, I'm fucking tired."
She yawned still on the floor.
Alexa tried to stand up again and walk out of her bedroom, but her attempt was a failure.
No sooner had she stood up, than the same thing that happened before, repeated.
Now on the floor, she sighed.
"I guess I'll just have to go back to sleep then. Just twenty minutes more, that won't hurt... Right?"
She muttered before dragging her tired ass to her bed.
"Yasss."
Alexa moaned softly and sighed in pure Ecstasy when her tired bones hit the soft, cold bed.
She drifted off to sleep again...
8:12 Am...
"Alexa... Alexa."
Jace called as he shook the human sleeping like a log of wood.
"Mmh?..."
"Alexa, wake up. It's 8 o'clock already."
Jace called out again and gave her a nug.
He was going to nug her one last time, If he gave her that last nug, he decided, and she didn't wake... He was going to leave her.
Jace yelled and gave his sister what he had determined as the last nug he was going to use to wake her up.
"What in the barnacles?"
Alexa woke up with a start.
"Jace, what the heck are you doing?"
"Weren't you supposed to start work today"
Jace questioned.
"Oh, Jace! It's just 6 am."
Alexa sighed.
"Your alarm clock says otherwise. It's 8:15 am!"
Jace yelled gently.
"Geez... I'm damn late."
Alexa muttered.
"What I was tryna tell you"
Jace said in response.
Alexa huddled out of bed and rushed downstairs to the bathroom to take a bath.
"Since Alexa's late for work and she hasn't prepared breakfast yet, I'll go make some eggs for breakfast."
Jace thought and ran down to the living room, opened up the fridge, and brought out some eggs.
"Jace, where are you?"
Alexa called out as soon as she was out of the bathroom.
"Over here."
Jace answered from the living room.
"You made breakfast?"
Alexa asked, wowed.
"Yeah, I did. I figured you didn't have enough time to make breakfast, so I did."
Jace replied.
"But I told..."
"Forget about what you told me. Just go and get some clothes, put it on, dress up and come down for breakie."
Jace interrupted.
"I love you, Jace."
"I know that already. Just go prepare for work."
Jace replied.
After dressing up in a black gown and red coat, Alexa ate breakfast with Jace, only that her pace was faster before leaving.
"Don't do anything that'd harm you or your health... Okay?"
"Alright."
Jace answered.
"Promise me"
Alexa demanded.
"Huh!"
"Jace!"
"Alright. I promise."
Jace responded.
"Good!"
Alexa muttered and dashed off.

Location: Anderson's house.
Alexa sighed as she stood on Anderson's porch.
Pulling her nervous self together, she knocked on the door.

June and I were in the middle of a hot wake-up morning s*x when a knock came on the door.
I don't know if June heard it, but I did.
"Did you hear something?"
I asked the girl writhing underneath me and she shook her head NO.
'Maybe it's just in my head.'
I thought and continued pounding inside June.
The knock came again, and this time I knew it wasn't in my head.
Whoever was at the door would have to wait till I was done with June.

After knocking on the door with no response, I decided to sit down on the bench outside.
After waiting another five minutes, I decided to go and knock again.
This time, luck was on my side because the moment I knocked on the door, someone opened it from within.
