Alexa yawned, sat up on her bed, and stretched.
She glanced at the wall clock in her room.
1:43 pm.
Wow!
She fucking slept for a whole two hours.
She massaged her knees, they ached so bad, but not as bad as her neck.
She was a bad and restless sleeper and that always showed out whenever she woke.
"At least my back's better now." She muttered.
Her back was painfully aching when she hit her bed, but now she was awake, it seemed as though her bed helped her massage it and now it was all better.
Alexa stood up from her bed and made her way toward the door.
It was noon already.
She wasn't sure if Jace was awake already, but she needed to make lunch.
Jace's room was some strides away from hers, and soon she was in front of it.
She turned the doorknob and went in.
Like she suspected, he was still sleeping.
She ran her hands through his hair and smiled uncontrollably.
He was very cute and was going to make a perfect English gentleman that girls would unknowingly drool for.
She exited his room and went down the stairs to the kitchen.
"What am I going to prepare?" She wondered and sat down on the chair by the counter.
"Jace didn't have a decent meal before going to bed. By the time he wakes, he'd be so hungry." She said in her thoughts.
"I can't seem to come up with something. Guess the fridge will have to decide then."
Alexa muttered and walked out of the kitchen to the fridge in the living room.
"Hmm... strawberries, cream, yogurt, a pineapple, apples, cucumbers... Oh, wait! I could make a fruit salad and serve it with some yogurt."
Alexa exclaimed.
"Well, the doctor did say he needed to eat healthily. I'm going with a fruit salad!" She Yipped.
Alexa went to the kitchen, brought out a bowl, went back to the fridge, put her hand in it, and put in all the fruits she needed.
After the washing, peeling, slicing, and pouring cream on the fruits, she purred just at the sight.
Not able to resist the temptation to eat some, she grabbed a fork and dipped it inside the bowl.
"Hmmm..." Alexa moaned immediately her tongue got a good taste of what she prepared.
"It's delicious."
She praised her cooking skills.
Alexa divided the salad into two plates, poured out someyyogurt, and placed them on the table.
"Jace!" She screamed out as she raced up the stairs.
It was rare for her to wake her brother up that way, but the fruit salad was way too good and she didn't want to waste any more time than she'd already spent before running everything down her stomach.
Alexa tore off the duvet cover from Jace's body and shook him vigorously.
Jace wasn't that much of a deep sleeper, so what Alexa did was enough to startle him out of bed.
"What's it?" He asked bewildered.
'Was the house owner here?'
He thought too shocked to speak out.
"Come down for lunch," Alexa yelled as she made her way out the door.
Jace rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands, stretched, and went downstairs.
By the time he got to the living room and sat on the couch beside Alexa, she had eaten about three mouthfuls of the fruit salad on her plate.
Jace watched in awe as she gobbled up her meal. At a point, he got scared, She was eating at a very abnormal speed.
"You're eating too fast Lexie," Jace spoke out in fear.
Alexa turned to look at him.
She was holding a fork in her hand, showing she just fed her mouth some fruits.
"Really?" She asked with her mouth full.
Impressive!
For a person who warned her junior one not to eat with his mouth full, and here she was forgetting her own rules. Very impressive!
"Yes. Really!"
Jace said a little bit firm.
Sometimes, it's not all about being corrected by an elder one.
Sometimes, it's correcting your elder ones when you feel they ain't doing something right.
"Oh. I didn't notice, I mean... The salad's so great and all." Alexa tried to explain.
"Well, try eating it slowly. That way you'll get to savor the greatness well." Jace frowned.
"It's easy for you to say because you haven't dug into your food yet."
"Well yeah. Like a meal could be that great." Jace rolled his eyes at Alexa and raised his fork to his mouth.
"Omg! Lexie what did you do? How'd you make this" Jace asked half screaming immediately the food went down his throat.
"What's it? Is something wrong with the meal?" Alexa asked concerned.
Jace blushed.
"No! It's just that... That... It tastes so good." Jace replied and with that, he started digging into his food as fast as a dog digs a hole for its bone.
"Oh, God Jace. Now you're the one eating too fast"
Alexa sighed and massaged her forehead.
"I don't care!" Jace said, more like shouting since he had his mouth full.
"I don't too!" Alexa shouted back and she turned her attention back the salad's way.
...Together, they broke their eating etiquettes!
"Oh jeez... That was great. Now I'm bloated." Jace sighed as he rubbed his stomach.
Alexa lay on the couch's body with her arms flung up.
She had the same tale as Jace.
They were both bloated from eating too much.
Jace picked up his glass of yogurt and put it in his mouth to drink it, but Alexa stopped him.
"Wait!" Alexa screamed and groaned.
"Ow, my stomach."
