Heaven's POV
It wasn't the first time I saw him this way, it wasn't the first time I saw a n*ked a woman in his office but this time it hit differently.
What is wrong with me?. Yes, he is my husband but I have no right whatsoever over him.
The name "husband and wife" are just titles in our marriage, it was a contract marriage and nothing more, so why do I feel this flutter of pain and agony wash over me.
"Heaven!!" He looked very shocked to see me, as if he was expecting me to be there or something.
I took a deep breath and ignored what was in front of me, as I went over to him and dropped some papers on the desk.
"Sir, you have to sign these documents. Please, do well to check them later" I spoke calmly as I pointed towards the document that I had placed on the table.
I took one last glance at him, at how he wore nothing but his shirt, and his boxers underneath.
I guessed that they were done already, and didn't get enough time to get dressed before I walked in on them.
I looked at him from head to toe and then back at the beautiful lady he had just taken, then I left the office without saying anything.
Kayden's POV
Why was she staring at me like that? Was she mad at me?. No, it can't be, she can't be mad at me after all there is nothing between us.
"And what are you still doing here? GET OUT!" I shouted at her and she hastily arranged her skirt before she went away.
I looked at the files Heaven had brought earlier, and then flung them away, I was the least interested in whatever was written there.
I messed up my hair with my fingers, using them to brush my hair backwards.
A lot of questions were running through my head, and there was only one person who would be able to give me answers, Heaven.
I stormed out of my office and went over to her desk, not minding the fact that there were so many people at the office, I grabbed her wrist and lifted her from her chair.
"Sir," she tried to protest but I looked at her just once and she became silent, my eyes clearly screamed anger and she could easily tell.
Not just her, but everyone in the office gave me a chance as no one wanted to fall prey to my vexation.
I dragged her to my office, and threw her inside the moment we got there.
"I..I.." she tried to talk but I just locked the door behind her, while she leaned on the door.
"YOU WHAT??" I asked her and slammed my hand on the door, making a loud banging noise which I'm sure other staff in the office heard.
"I don't know why you are angry at me, what did I do wrong?" She asked me, trying to look at random objects, so her eyes would not meet with mine.
"Neither do I" I said merely in a whisper. Why was I angry with her in the first place?. She didn't do anything to stir up my anger, but yet I was so furious.
"Then…then…what, why I'm I here?" She began to stammer again, it was this stammering and stuttering, which she did that annoyed the most of all her characteristics.
"Because I didn't like the way you looked at me. You looked disgusted" I held her chin, and forced her to have direct eye contact with me and that was when I saw a lot of pain, regret and anger in her eyes.
She really was an over thinker, and maybe that's why she's always so quiet. She talks alot in her head, but very little with her mouth.
"Did I hurt you?" I asked her in a very relaxed voice, I don't know why I needed her to be relaxed, but I just did.
"You are hurting me right now" she managed to say with her voice cracking.
"How?" I asked bringing my lips closer to hers.
"You are going to pull out my face, if care is not taken" she struggled to place her hand on mine, which was groping her face so tightly.
"Sorry" I said and slowly brought my hand down from her face, before looking away from her and running my forehead vigorously with my thumb, index and middle finger.
I don't know what pushed me to do it, but I turned to face her again as I grabbed her hands and wrapped them around my waist.
Before gently rubbing her cheek and planting a deep k*ss in her mouth.
The way her tongue enveloped with mine and how she moved her hands on my waist, showed me she was mastering the tactics of k*sing. Yes, I knew I was her first k*s.
By the looks of things, I am her only k*ss, I really wanted it to remain that way.
I have k*ssed so many girls in the past but never have I felt so connected like I did when I k*ssed Heaven, her lips on mine always gave me a different feeling.
She was breathing so heavily after I had released her lips from mine. I guessed I was so into the k*s, that I hadn't realized that she was losing her breath.
Still, she looked so innocent and breathtaking, while she stared at me like a total stranger. I wanted to be more than a stranger, I was her husband but I felt like a stranger.
"Kay…" she wanted to talk.
"Shh!! I know what you want to say, this marriage is a charade. I don't have feelings for you, I just got carried away" I stopped her with my index finger in between her lips.
"Okay" she looked down and opened the door so she could leave.

Heaven couldn't understand the way her body worked, even though that k*s wasn't meant to happen.
Why didn't she want to end the k*s, she was losing her breath yet she wanted it to last longer, if not forever.
All eyes were on her, as she walked out of the office, she looked at the floor, all through her journey to her desk, just to feel less ashamed.
But why was she even ashamed in the first place, after all he is her husband in the eyes of the law, but no one at the office knew that.
She felt a hot liquid in between her legs, as she closed her legs tightly trying to suppress the urge that she was having.
