Kayden's POV
"What the hell?!" I exclaimed, and dropped the small briefcase that was in my hand. For a moment, I thought I was going blind.
I wished that I was blind because I saw something I have never seen before. Something which I shouldn't have seen in the first place.
Never in my life did I imagine that I would come back home and meet such a thing. That too, out in the open.
Where everyone was seeing.
Like they were seeing what I'm seeing?. Ohhhh my God!!!
"Heaven!!!!" I screamed her name to get her attention. She combed her hair backwards, with her hand. Spitting out the water that was in her mouth.
Her eyes were so damn red, and I was sure she had been in the pool for a very long time.
"Get out of the water right now!" I ordered her. I knew she could sense the anger in my voice, because of the way she shivered.
Though, I couldn't tell if it was because of me, or maybe she was cold after being in the water for far too long.
"And what if she refuses?" Zamiel tried to stand up for her, was he teaching her to be disobedient towards me? She kept on looking down, she was so confused.
I can't believe that she was actually confused in the first place, would she really take his words over mine?.
She better not, or else I would turn the color of this pool water from blue to red, and his blood is surely going to be the chemical I use.
"I wasn't talking to you" I warned him. I didn't want to hear another word from him, because if I do. Then, it would lead us to another fight.
"Well, I am talking to you, so do your worst" he tempted me.
"Please stop it! Both of you should just stop it. I am going to get out now, I am sorry" she apologized to me, and tried to walk out of the water, but Zamiel stopped her halfway.
Grabbing her hand in the water, and pulling her back into the water.
"No Heaven, you don't have to go anywhere. He can't just show up here, out of the blue.
And start bossing you around, you are his wife, and not his personal maid .
For all we know, he might have gone to see his mistress, or better I say mistresses" Zamiel spoke, I just got back, and I was in no mood to fight with anyone.
But, he was pushing me to the wall, and the fact that he was trying to poison my wife against me, I wasn't going to take it likely with him. Why doesn't he value his own things, or better still, get his own wife.
"Zamiel, if you don't keep your mouth shut, I will make sure I drown you in that water" I promised him, but he may have seen it more as a threat. I didn't care.
"Is that a threat?" He asked, looking at me like a crazy person.
"You can call it that, but just let her out of the water. I don't have the strength for this" I placed my hand on my forehead.
"Why? Did you use up all your strength on your mistresses?" He smirked.
I saw the sadness, and jealousy in Heaven's eyes when he said the word "mistresses".
It didn't take time for me to pull off my shirt, and shoes, jumping into the water.
I swam as fast as I could towards him. He didn't even try to get away from me, I forced my hand on his head, as he kept on resisting.
I tried to force him into the water, I wanted to drown him. I wanted him to drown to death, so I could finally have my peace. Ever since he returned, he has been giving me nothing but problems.
If he was dead a lot of my problems would go away.
But, he was too strong. We had almost the same strength, as he grabbed my neck, and also tried to drown me in the water.
Somehow, we managed to throw blows at each other, while we were in the water.
"Kayden!!" I heard Heaven call out to me, she was trying to get to us. She wasn't such a good swimmer, I don't even think she could swim at all. She was taking in half of the water in her system. She was trying her best to swim, but she just wasn't doing it right.
As she was slowly drowning in the water. I forgot about the fight I was having with Zamiel, and swam towards her. Lifting her from the water, I struggled to get out of the water as fast as I could.
I placed her on the floor by the pool side.
I noticed that she was finding it difficult to breathe, she kept on opening her mouth, gasping for more and more air. I pressed her stomach as many times as I could, just to get her to vomit the excess water she must have swallowed.
But, she was still finding it difficult to breathe. Alot of the water had already gotten to her system…I was so scared already.
I carefully placed my lips on hers, and….oh!! how I missed those soft lips of hers. Doing my best to suck out all the excess water, while trying to make her breathe.
She wasn't responding, so I blocked her nose, and sucked on her tongue hard. If this wasn't a life and death situation, my hands must have been driven to other parts of her body by now.
"Cough cough" she coughed, the moment I brought my lips out of hers. Along with her cough, came a lot of water, scattered on the floor.
The pool side was already slippery.
Her eyes were trying to close, but I wasn't going to let that happen. I placed my hands on her twins, kissing her roughly.
I didn't know how much I missed her, until she tried to separate herself from my kiss, I didn't let that happen. I kept on forcing myself on her, until the point that she was now fully awake.
I carefully scooped her off the floor and rushed her to my room, pushing anybody that attempted to get in my way.
I placed her carefully on the bed, as if she was an egg.
"Kayden!!" Zamiel ran after me. I didn't even want him to look at her, so I shut the door behind me, while I went out to see what he wanted. Using my body to block the entrance of my room.
"What is it?" I looked at him rudely.
"Is she okay?" He asked me, trying to see if he would be able to force his way in. I wasn't going to let that happen, and even if it does. It would have to be over my dead, and rotten body.
I held the handle of the door, silently, what reply was I going to give him now?.
And why does he care for my wife all of sudden? If he really wants to care for someone so much, he should go care for his sl*tty sister and mother. Or better still, he should get married and have his own wife.
"That is honestly none of your business. And you are not in any position to be asking about her, especially when you were the one who took her to the swimming pool" I scolded him as if he was a child. Well,it was his fault, so it was only fair and he deserved it.
"I didn't know she couldn't swim, and when she told me. I offered to teach her, that was all that happened. I really had no intention of drowning her." he felt really bad already.
"And since when did you start giving out swimming lessons? And who teaches a beginner in a pool so deep? Are you just dumb, or you have just refused to understand reality?" I nodded my head slowly.
"Well, everything was going just fine. Until you decided to come into the pool so you can drown me" he tried to speak in his defense. There was no way, I would let him put the blame on me when it was clearly his fault

"Don't even say that to me, you infuriated me. If you had let her come out of the water, the time I had told her to, then none of this would have happened in the first place"
I pointed my index finger at him, and he threw a blow at my face. I moved my face away from him, and he punched the metal door instead. I took that opportunity to hold his hand in place.
"My wife is not doing fine because of you. Don't let me fight you in this kind of circumstance '' I grinned my teeth at him with so much darkness and hatred in my eyes.
He forced his hand out of mine and walked away angrily.
