Marriage Prison Chapter 20

Melvin had just returned home, his body so tired that he immediately went to the bathroom to clean himself up. He was stunned for a moment when he saw the bathroom filled with aroma therapy candles that made him feel comfortable, even the water in the bathtub was still warm. "Did she do it?" asked Melvin looking around. Towels were there, and the toiletries were complete, not forgetting the bathrobe that was there. The fatigue that enveloped his body made him immediately get into the bathtub and enjoy the touch of the warm water. Melvin was a little surprised when the water he soaked in tasted salty, making him want to get out of there immediately but he undid his intention because of his fatigue and the sensation he felt was different from usual. He put on his silver bathing suit and then threw his burly body on the bed, as Melvin closed his eyes something was on his mind. His body was so tired, but he still couldn't sleep. He decided to get some fresh air. His footsteps stopped, when he saw Danas sipping mineral water, with her hair in a ponytail, exposing her long neck. Danas who didn't realize Melvin's presence instantly glanced to the side his eyes rounded, he was surprised to see Melvin who was folding his arms over his chest, watching him. "I'm starving." Hearing what Melvin said made her instantly come to her senses. "Let me make you something," Danas exclaimed as she opened the refrigerator and grabbed some groceries. The time was 12 p.m. Danas chose a meal that was easy to make but suitable to be enjoyed at this hour. Danas took some ramen packets from the shelf, making Melvin who was sitting on the table raise her eyebrows. "What are you doing with that? You want me to eat, that food?" Danas looked at Melvin for a moment then nodded her head. "It's noodles, perfect for this time of day, and this-" "You want me to eat that food? It's like I'm out of food, I don't want to eat." Danas lowered her head. "Let me cook some menus if that's the case," Danas said, going back to get some vegetables and meat from the refrigerator. Melvin watched Danas who was busy making him food, this time he had to admit that the woman could cook as seen from her busyness in the kitchen who knew what she had to do. It took fifteen minutes for Danas to cook a meal for her husband even though Melvin didn't give her any thanks for making the meal. For a moment, Melvin was stunned when he saw the food Danas served. The food served by the woman he hated reminded him of a girl who had saved his life when he was drowning. Without thinking, Melvin tried to taste all the food, the taste was the same. However, he again dismissed if Danas was the one who helped him. For him it was impossible. After finishing his food, Melvin left Danas. It had been an hour since he had slept, his mind was in turmoil. There was something that made him uneasy, who knows what it was that made him step out of the room to get mineral water. "Huh. Why am I even hungry," Melvin swore. His feet stopped when he saw Danas' room which was open right at the end of the hall, without being ordered his feet stepped into the room. Check! His eyes saw Danas who was fast asleep in gray pajamas and a blanket that was at the end of his legs. The wind was blowing strongly making the air in the room cold, Danas had forgotten to close the balcony door. Melvin stepped slowly closer to Danas who was fast asleep, he wanted to touch that face but his hand was stuck in the air. His heart was racing along with the sudden desire for release. "What was I thinking, anyway," Melvin muttered. "I can't possibly touch her," he added again. His mind was thinking about what he didn't want. Melvin tried to dismiss his thoughts if he wanted the man to try to dismiss what he was feeling, when he tried to leave the room, his footsteps stopped. "Why can't I touch her?" Melvin monologued to himself, while looking at Danas who was sleeping on his bed, as if he didn't feel anything bad was going to happen to him. "She's my wife," he thought to himself as he turned around and approached her again. Melvin stepped into Danas' room. He was silent for a moment "Shouldn't she be serving me?" asked Melvin looking at Danas who was fast asleep. Melvin also pulled the hair that covered Danas' face making the woman surprised by Melvin's presence, Danas tried to get out of bed but her hand was intercepted by her husband. "Melvin!" Danas' voice choked, she tried to call Melvin's name but she remembered that he didn't allow her to call his name. "What are you doing here?" asked Danas curious about Melvin's presence in her room. Melvin's eyebrows raised one side. "Shouldn't you be serving me?" asked Melvin, making Danas immediately round her eyes. "No," Danas refused rebelliously. "I don't wanna!" Danas flatly refused, he didn't want to serve Melvin. Melvin, who hated that refusal, was instantly angry. "Why do you always do things I don't like. You're my wife, and you have to serve me," Melvin said, gripping Danas' wrist tightly. "A wife must serve her husband. Don't you understand that, Danas," Melvin insisted. Danas rebelled, she didn't want to serve Melvin. "No, I don't. I don't want to. You said that if you don't consider yourself a wife, you just want to torture me," Danas rebelled, making the man in front of him furious and violent. Danas' strength was very different from Melvin's, even though Danas didn't want to, but Melvin's strength could not be defeated. "Please," Danas pleaded with tears in her eyes as Melvin touched her. She begged him to stop what he was doing immediately. "Huh. You'd better not resist me, bitch. You think I can get away from you?" asked Melvin stammeringly while Danas could only cry. Every time Danas rebelled the man would touch her body roughly, Danas could only surrender to what a demon-hearted man like Melvin was doing. She wanted to get out of the prison that locked her up. When Melvin finished fulfilling all his desires, he left Danas on the bed just like that, without feeling guilty. Danas continued to sob after Melvin left. Danas immediately pulled the blanket over her body, Melvin's treatment of her was so rough. She cried so hard that she fell asleep from exhaustion, while Melvin was still thinking about what he had done to Danas. " Shit. What have I done. Why did I-" Melvin's words stopped, he ruffled his hair, it frustrated him. "Shit!" he swore.
