It was a lunch break.
"Let's go to Cafetaria", Lia screamed beside me.
Clara opposed, "I need a book so I'll join you guys later."
Thank god she mentioned it.
"I'm going with Clara, I need a book too."
Lia commented, "Do you even know where the library is..."
"Even though I don't. I still need it. Miss Shelly said she'll decrease my detention period if I score above 70% in the upcoming test. So I'm gonna prove that I can score more and at the same time it's hella boring in the detention room without you guys", I sobbed.
Luna pleaded, "Do me a favour, take a book for me too. Pls..."
I used this offer, "Buy me a drink then!"
Zoe called, "Luna, Lia let's go."
Clara and I came to the library. Clara found her book as soon as we went because she always spends most of her time here.
Later Clara helped me to find my book.
Now we have to look for Luna's book. We both searched for it. I looked many rows by classification numbers and I finally found it but it is on the top shelf. I called Clara for help because I couldn't reach it. She teased me and took the book.
There was a long line today in the library. As we were waiting, we were talking about the class today.
Calix was passing by. He was one of our seniors.
I whispered to Clara, "Hey! Take a look at who's here... The chicken little!"
We laughed.
Senior stopped.
Clara whispered in my ear, "I think he heard you."
Senior walked towards us but not really us... he walked towards me.
He whispered in my ear, "I'll be waiting outside!" and went.
It sounded scary.
After check out, we came outside. Senior was leaning against the wall and holding onto a book.
We slowly started to walk towards him.
Clara phone rang.
She answered, "I'll be there."
She turned to me. This is bad. She's gonna say something bad. Please don't.
"You can do it!". She nodded and ran. she left me alone with him. Traitor.
I walked slowly to him.
Calix is a sophomore, a member of the basketball team and he is one of the hot guys on the campus. I heard he was popular during his freshman year but something happened back then and he turned down his Fanclub. All I knew is... he has a very bad temper and teases freshers a lot. I don't wanna be his prey today.
"What did you call me back then?", his eyes were so intense.
Omg! He heard us. What am I gonna say?
"We...we were...we were talking....", before I finish he cut me by saying, "I have a punishment for you!"
I was blacked out for a second.
He came closer to me. My heart starts to beat so fast. He stopped and said, "your... your face..."
"What's wrong with my face?", I got stunned.
"Look!", he showed his keychain which has a mirror in it.
I looked into...My face looks red. Why my cheeks are so red? Did I blush? What? Not for him. Never. Maybe it's because I'm scared of him. Yeah. It has to be fear.
He started, "I just want you to pass information for me. Don't be scared. There's a practice this evening at 5. So inform your friends. My phone died that's why I couldn't contact them.", patted my head with a smile and went.
I stood and watched him leave. Did he smile? I didn't know that he has this kind of side.
I messaged Clara, "Gotta chance to speak with Mr.popularity!"
She replied, "All the best!!"
I opened Wils Fanclub Gc to find where he is. There was a candid of him drinking bubble tea in Cafetaria along with Ace and some others.
When I entered Cafeteria, all I could see was his hair, not even his face is visible. There were so many girls from other faculties wearing different colours of ties.
How can I swim across these thirsty fishes? I try to sneak in between them but I couldn't.
Someone was calling my name from my behind. I turned to look who it was. It was Ace. One of my annoying classmates.
"Why are you fighting with these girls? Staring in class is not enough?"
"I'm just here to pass information from Senior"
"What is it?"
I let go of the plan.
"Senior said that you all three have a practice this evening."
"All right!"
He added, "And Hereafter dress like a girl. This hoodie and your shaggy pants make you look like a boy from behind.", he and Liam laughed and went.
This is not new to me. Many have assumed that I'm a boy from my clothing. I'm a short girl who wears glasses having a not so long brown hair and wear hoodies often. I can't change for others because This is me and because I'm too lazy to choose an outfit every day.
I called Clara and said that the previous plan got drop and made a new one and asked her to accompany me this time.
After classes got over. We went to the basketball court. Clara, Lia, Audrey, I were all seated together. The basketball court was full. So many girls have come today from other faculties. The players are here already. Girls screamed and cheered and shouted their names.
Wil looked damn hot in his jersey. The sleeveless jersey showed his muscular hands and some part of his abs.
Boys greeted back by waving their hands. I saw someone's hand was waving at me. Shit! It was Senior Calix. He was smiling and waving at me? I try to ignore but he was standing right next to Wil.
Clara poked me, "Why are you blushing?...is it because of Wil?..". She teased me.
But this was not by him. But by Senior. And one more thing I'm not blushing, I'm embarrassed.
She continued, "Hey! Why our Senior... is smiling at...you?"
Omg! She noticed.
"I don't know... Maybe he was waving to...a girl at the back."
Why are you looking at me!!!
My phone was popping with notifications of Wils photos and videos and gifs in his Fanclub Gc.
Everyone was playing until they sweat a lot. TBH every guy looked hot when they were covered in sweats. The practice got over. Girls were taking their time to refresh and taking a picture of players... Wil went to the men's changing room alone. I followed him. I'm not a stalker though. Before I entered, Ace blocked me.
"Where are you going? You do know what is this room right?... Always sneaking here and there. Go back to your friend."
My second plan for today was dropped again. I hate Ace. Half of my plans are destroyed by him and by my nervousness.
Clara asked me, "What happen? Did you tell him?"
"NO!", I took my bag and started to walk out from the court.
Clara ran behind me, "Is it, Ace?"
"Yes!"
She hugged me and comforted me."Don't worry... we'll do something about that. And there are still so many days...And do you know what day is coming?"
"What?"
"Valentine's day!... Three more days to go. Confessing on that day is a dream proposal for girls"
"I smell something fishy here... Are you seeing someone Clara?"
"I'm not sure about that... But I'll say if there's one.", hugged me.
"Your best friend here is so eager to hear that. Don't forget. "
I smiled and hugged her back and bid goodbye to her.
I came across the gift store near our college. I was wondering what should I buy and How should I convey it. I went inside to get some ideas. What will he like? Does he like chocolates...or greeting cards...or flowers. But these sounds so girly. But a greeting card may be a good gift. It's simple and cute too. The things in that store looked so good. I saw greet cards. The quotes were on them was so cute.

This card sounds like people who were already in love.

This card sounds like a complicated relationship.

I thought I could give this one since it has vibes on hidden love. Wait. I only have a crush on him not love but I'm not sure about that too.
"I thought you were available.", I heard a male voice behind me.
I turned to look but indeed slipped into his arms. He was smiling. I jumped off him. It was Senior Calix.
He caresses my cheeks, "You're blushing again!", he laughed.
"No! I'm not!"
He gave me a smirk and took the card which I was holding onto. He read the lines aloud, "NO MATTER HOW LONG. MY HEART WILL REMAIN THE SAME!'... Wow! So cute quote for a cute girl...Do you have a secret crush?"
I remained silent and tried to grab it from him. But I couldn't since he was taller than me.
He laughed.
I gave up on fighting for that card.
"I don't want it!"
I came out of the store and began to walk on the pavement. It's cold out here.
Someone wrapped a coat around me. It's Senior Calix.
"You again...What do you want from me?"
He stopped and his face turned serious. Did I just switch on the angry mode? He remained Silent.
I asked, "What!?"
He came close to me and pushed me against the wall and said, "I want you!"
"What!!!"
"I want you...I mean...I like you. Here take this I don't wanna wait until valentine's day to give this to you."
He gave the card to me which I selected to present Wil and walked away.
