DIVYA POV

I woke up to the direct sun rays falling on my face through the curtains. I groaned opened my eyes.
Memories of last night rushed into my mind. The bikini costume issue, I am slapping Daksh, my apologies and Daksh almost going to kiss me.
Oh god! How I'm going to face him? I sighed.
I went to the bathroom and stripped down my dress. I entered the shower. I washed my hair and my body when I was done, I turned off the shower. I wrapped myself in a towel and got out of the bathroom. I searched in my wardrobe and finally found a perfect dress. I got dressed quickly.
I tucked my hair into a ponytail and applied little foundation and eye liner. I wore my black high heels. I was ready and went downstairs to see my Dad. However, he is nowhere in my sight. I saw a note on a dining table. I picked the note and read it.
"Sorry Doll, I have an early meeting. See you in the evening.
Your loving,
Dad.
Ps. Don't ignore your breakfast"
I smiled and ate the breakfast. I drove to my office.
Soon, I reached the office. I went inside the building and entered into the elevator. I pressed the 30th floor. Elevator starting moving. I started humming a random song.
Suddenly, the elevator stopped abruptly and the lights of the elevator went on and off.
Oh god! What's happening?
The elevator started to shake violently. My heart started beating fast. Suddenly, the lights went off leaving me in completely darkness.
"Please god help me!" I mumbled.
I hate darkness. I get real scared when it's dark. This elevator needs to start immediately. Otherwise, I will die of fear. It's a complete nightmare to me. I have to call someone for help.
"Hello! Please help. I'm stuck in the elevator" I swallowed a big lump that was stuck in my throat.
"Hello?" I called out, this time louder, but I was only greeted by an echo of my own voice.
"Help! Help please! It's so dark" I cried very badly.
Suddenly, the elevator was filled with smoke. I can't even breathe properly. My body shook in panic. I sat down in an instant, grabbing the railing. I felt something in my pocket. I reached in and pulled out my phone. I totally forgot my phone.
Thank god!
For some reason, my fingers dialed Daksh's number.
"Hello..." an answer came from the other side.
"He-Hello, Da--ksh, help me. I-am stuck in the ele--elevator. It's me Div..." before I could speak anything, I coughed vigorously. I can't speak anything. My phone slipped from my hand. I took it again to talk only to find the network dead. I shut my eyes feeling the darkness covering my whole body. I was continuously coughing very badly.
After few minutes of coughing, I heard a voice, "Divya" I recognized it to be Daksh. I immediately opened my eyes.
"Daksh *--cough--cough--* I am stuck *--cough--* please help me. I will die *--cough--cough--* please" I told him, coughing.
"Calm down sweetheart. I am here on the other side. Nothing will happen to you. Trust me! Don't panic, Ok?" He said calming me.
After 5 minutes, the elevator stopped shaking and the doors slide open. Daksh's worried face was the first thing I saw. As soon as his eyes landed on me, he took few quick steps towards me. Bending down, he scooped me in his arms and took me out of the elevator.
He was all sweaty, and his eyes showed fear.
Fear? But why? Fear of losing me? I thought.
On his way, he yelled at his PA Rahul to call doctor. He took me to his joined personal bedroom and made me laid down on bed. He quickly filled a glass with water. He held it to my mouth, and I drank the whole water quickly. I coughed lightly, and he rubbed my back softly.
I took the deep breath to calm my heart beat. I hugged him strongly and in return, he hugged me back securely, squeezing my petite body seeing my nervousness. He whispered soothing words in my ears.
"Don't be afraid, sweetheart. I will never let anything happen to you, as long as I am alive" He said. I don't know why but I felt safe when I am with him.
Soon a doctor came inside. Daksh told him about my state.
"How are you feeling now?" Doctor asked while checking my heartbeat with his stethoscope.
"I am feeling little dizzy *--cough--cough--* and my throat is paining a lot" I told to the doctor.
Doctor wrote the prescripts and gave the sheet to Daksh and left. Daksh brought the medicine and a cough syrup. He helped me take the medicines.
"Now take rest Doll" Daksh told and made me laid down on bed carefully. He sat beside me holding my hands gently. I sighed and drifted into deep sleep.
After some hours _______________
I opened my eyes, and it was blurred. I blinked my eyes several times to adjust my eyes according to the room. I looked at the clock and its already 1:00 pm.
I saw Daksh sitting on the couch, working on his laptop. I was impressed that he was actually here to take care of me.
"Dak...Daksh" I called him. He stopped working and looked at me. He felt relieved. He stood up frantically walked towards me. He hugged me lightly, like I am a fragile glass doll.
"How are you feeling doll"? He asked me, brushing my hair out of my face.
"I am fine" I told him softly. He nodded and took out his phone. He dailed someone and ordered a soup for me.
After sometime, a lady appeared in the room along with soup on a tray. He picked up the bowl from her and gestured at her to leave. He came forward and sat on the bed. He picked up the bowl of the soup and brought a spoon filled with soup near my lips.
"Daksh, No. I'm not going to drink this" I said making disgusting face at the soup.
"Sweetheart, don't be stubborn" He said.
"I'm not stubborn Daksh. You know right. I don't like soup" I pouted. He chuckled.
"Sweetheart, this is good for your health. So listen to me at once otherwise...." I cut him off.
"Otherwise what? What will you do?" I challenged him.
"Otherwise! I will kiss you senselessly right now" He said and my mouth opened wide in shock. I looked at him with stunned expression.
He smirked and brought the spoon filled with soup to my mouth and fed me. I quickly closed my mouth and gulped the disgusting soup, glaring at him.
How can he threat me like this? Idiot!
After finishing the bowl of the soup, Daksh gave me a medicine. After taking the medicine, I started feeling dizzy and dozed off to sleep.
EVENING______________
I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed my face using my hands. I stretched and twisted my body and looked at the clock.
Oh God! It's already 5 PM!
I hurriedly got up from the bed and looked around. It wasn't in my room. Where I am? Memories of a morning incident invaded my mind.

Now I remember everything. I quickly made my way out of the room and went to his cabin. I opened the door of his cabin.
I want to say thanks to him for saving my life. However, he is not here. Where did he go? I think he went to attend the meeting.
I can't leave without saying thanks to him. So I grabbed a paper and a pen and started to write.
Dear Daksh,
Thank you for saving my life. Even though I humiliate you yesterday, you saved me. I know, what I did was totally wrong. Please forgive me. Thank you once again.

I placed the letter on the desk for him to see. I went to the bathroom and washed my face. I came out of washroom and went to my car. I started the engine only to find the car repaired. I tried two or three but its all vain. I was frustrated. I opened the car door.
Today is my worst day!
I started waking on the street looking for a cab. Suddenly, a car stopped near me. I saw it was Daksh.
"Why are you walking?" He asked, removing the window shades.
"My car isn't starting. So I thought to take a cab" I said.
"Get in, I will drop you" He offered.
"No its okay, I will manage" I said and started walking ahead.
He got out of the car and held my hand, " You are going with me in my car. That's final" He ordered, dragging me to his car. He opened the car door and made me sit inside. He sat on the driver seat. He leaned very close to me and made me wear seat belt. We drove off to my home.
After 30 minutes, we finally reached my home. I invited him inside. I rang the door bell. Dad opened the door and saw me and Daksh. He is very happy to see Daksh. Daksh told dad about my accident in an elevator. Dad really became very panicked and upset. His face fell.
"Dad, please don't worry. Look, I'm absolutely fine" I told him. Dad nodded his head worried.
"Thanks Daksh, for saving my daughter life" Dad told him.
"Uncle, please don't say thanks. It's my duty because I'm only saving my life" He blurted out.
Saving his life?
Dad and I looked at him with a shock face. Daksh noticed our shocked face, and soon he composed himself.
"I mean, I-I'm saving her life" Daksh stammered looking here and there. Dad nodding his head suspiciously.
"Ok uncle, I should go now. It's already late but if you need something, just call me" He said.
"Ok, Drive carefully" Dad said.
Suddenly, dad's mobile started ringing. He went inside to attend the call.
Daksh was leaving. I saw standing near the entrance gate. He sat in his car but before igniting the car engine, he turned his face and gave me a flying kiss. I was shocked. He smirked at me and went off.
I was blushing hard thinking about him. I went to my bedroom and laid down on bed.
"Daksh Mehra, you'll be the death of me" I muttered and drifted into sleep.

Precap - The movie started, and the lights were dimmed. Everything was darker. A few moments later, someone else sat down next to me. I didn't turn to looking at the person but just kept staring at the screen. A familiar masculine smell hit my nostrils, and I'd know that smell form anywhere. I slowly turned to my side, and I came face to face with none other than.
