Chapter 76
Riding motorcycles grabbed people's attention. Pershey was on a motorcycle and Caleb was driving.
They both wore helmets while the motor was running. They circled the entire International Covered Court.
Caleb stopped the motor in the middle where the jurors were.
Non -stop work and applause can be heard. Everyone was very eager to see Pershey.
They were still riding there and still not taking off their helmets. If you look at them, they look like ultimate riders and their appeal is lofty.
The women always blame Caleb and the love team called the two of them.
Pershey slowly removed her helmet. She danced her head after she removed the helmet caused by the dangling of her hair that was tangled. It seem to be dancing. Then, she got off the motorcycle and looked at the audiences. There is the sweet smile on her lips that gives a more attractive look in the eyes of people.
Her posture was good as she stood. Her helmet was on the side of her waist. She looked to the left and smiled more and so did when she looked to the right and turned her gaze back to the middle. After looking at the audiences, she turned her gaze to Caleb. Coincidentally, Caleb looked at her and their eyes met. They both smiled at each other as they met each other’s gaze, causing the audiences to shudder. It seems like they are a love team.
She put on the helmet again and then rode the motorcycle. Caleb, who was also wearing a helmet, stood behind her.
She looked for a moment before starting the motorcycle. She now drives the motor unlike before when Caleb was driving and she was riding in the back.
The gaze of the audiences chased them until they could get out of the covered court.
Pershey parked the motorcycle in front of El Lavish Restaurant. No one was there and the restaurant was closed.
She removed the helmet before she got off after Caleb got off. She handed the helmet back to Caleb and smiled at him. Caleb picked it up and smiled back Pershey's smile at him.
"Thank you, Caleb."
"You're always welcome," he replied. Their looks were right. They stared at each other for a few minutes and soon she said goodbye to go backstage. She will now prepare the Swimwear attire.
"Goodluck," said Caleb.
"Thanks."
She left and was immediately met by Iries and Leighden and asked where else she had gone. She said she just returned the helmet to Caleb.
She walked towards the fitting room, still smiling.
"You know, Pershey," Leighden said. Pershey stopped in front of the fitting room door and waited for Leighden to say more. Leighden approached her and she laughed a little before continuing. "... Caleb is handsome."
Pershey laughed softly at what she said causing her to tap Leighden's arm. Leighden grabbed her arm which Pershey patted and cried out with laughter. "I'm serious," she said in a serious tone of voice. Pershey just nodded in response and didn't utter a word. "I just noticed," she added, still reflecting on Caleb's appearance in her mind.
Iries agreed. "He's really handsome." She was carrying the swimsuit that Pershey was going to wear.
“I know,” she weakly said while holding the doorknob. The words that wanted to come out of her mouth were racing, so she couldn’t speak right away, but she just said ‘I know.’
“That’s you, Pershey,” Leighden said.
Her forehead furrowed slightly.
"It's about you two, Caleb," she repeated.
"He's not just handsome but also kind," Iries said.
She was unable to enter the fitting room because of what they were telling her. She was still holding the doorknob as she looked at them and imprinted in her mind what they had said earlier. Instead of agreeing, she just asked for the swimsuit she would wear.
When the black panty and bra were handed to her, she blushed in shock. Her lips parted as she looked at the swimsuit.
She asked curiously, “What are these?” She lifted her panty and bra as if trembling to touch them.
"Your swimsuit," Iries replied.
"Oh my God!" She opened her mouth and formed an O. "Am I really going to wear these?" she asked. She even opened the panty as it lifted. “They could see my soul! Will you let me wear this? I feel like I have no dignity if I wear these!”
“Not like that, Pershey. Of course, you have to wear that because you joined pageant,”Iries insisted, which Leighden agreed.
“I look like a dancer in a club. I'm like a pornstar,” she complained. They laughed at Pershey's complaints.
"You have to wear that," Iries said.
She was still disgusted looking at the one she was holding that she was still lifting.
She shook her head and said, "I can't."
“What I can’t? You can do that! ”
“Are you fucking out of your mind, huh? You just wear that, Iries! ”
She suddenly returned them to her. Iries returned it to her but she also returned it to her. Leighden picked it up and slung it over Pershey's shoulder.
Leighden asked so disgusted at the same time as she sighed. "What are you doing here?"
Before she could answer, they heard Sansa laugh. She stopped laughing and approached them. She stopped opposite Pershey and looked at her from her eyes to her feet then looked back at hers again. She met Sansa's steady gaze on her.
"I am here because these fitting rooms are for candidates only," she said.
“No one forbids you. No one claims a fitting room,” Leighden insisted.
"I didn't say anything either," she replied in a calm voice. The wind seemed to change. There is no trace of irritation in Sansa's voice now.
Later, Aliha also came with what she was going to wear. She stopped and looked at them in shock.
"Is this a family reunion?" she wondered.
Sansa answered immediately. "We're not family, okay?"
"I know, Sansa."
Pershey asked. "Are you going to change too?"
"Obviously, isn't it?"
"There is only one vacant fitting room," she said.
"So, what do you mean?"
"You're so slow, Aliha," Leighden commented.
Aliha glared at her and said, "Shut up!"
“And who are you? Huh ?! ”
Pershey knew there would only be a quarrel between the two of them, so she mediated. She looked at Aliha for a moment and then at Leighden. She looked back at Aliha and said, “Use the fitting room first. I'll just wait for you."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah."
"Okay." She entered the fitting room. Iries and Leighden question her for what she did but that's the only good way she can think of.
“What about you, Sansa? Will you just stop there? ” Leighden asked still a little annoyed. Sansa did not say a word, but entered the fitting room. “We only have 20 minutes, Pershey,” she reminded. She didn't say a word but nodded in response while looking at the swimsuit she was holding. She needs you to wear it even against her will because otherwise she will be disqualified.
An idea entered her mind. "I have an idea," said Leighden. She took a moment out of the paper bags. She returned with them. “Let’s be creative, okay? You have to look fashionable and unique in their eyes. ”
"What do you mean?"
"Pershey, just simple." She pulled out black long socks (up to half of her thigh). Iries was holding black 4inches pointed heels and black leather gloves (up to his elbow length).
“What are these?”
They could not answer when Aliha came out. She was wearing yellow panties and a bra. She left without noticing her. Leighden pointed to the fitting room so that Pershey could enter.
She was still hesitant to enter but she soon entered. Inside the fitting room, she examined them. She sighed before she put them on. She examined herself in the mirror before she put on the gloves and socks.
She smiled slightly. She is no longer wearing bad clothes.
After a while, she came out. If only maybe that wasn’t required, she wouldn’t have worn that kind of attire especially if against her will.
Iries and Leighden looked at her in amazement when they saw her. Leighden's mouth formed an O in amazement.
Pershey nodded because she was ashamed of what she was wearing herself. Doubt was evident in her reaction.
"Hey, smile, Pershey," Iries ordered. She forced a smile as she said. “Where is your self-confidence, Pershey?” she asked.
The strained smile suddenly disappeared from her lips.
"You need to boost your self-confidence," she continued. "Relax, Pershey, relax," she added.
“She’s right, Pershey. If you are discouraged, you are really nervous, ”Leighden said.
"I am not used of wearing these," she insisted while pouting her pink lips.
“We know that. Take the responsibility. You joined pageant so your face must be thick to face the audiences. Give your best and most of all, you need high self-confidence,” Iries clarified to her. “Now, do you have self-confidence? Are you really confident? ”
She immediately replied, "Of course!"
"Inhale and exhale, Pershey."
As Leighden said that is exactly what he did. The nervousness in her chest decreases.
“Just trust yourself, Pershey. You can do it!"
She smiled at Leighden and so did Iries. She regained her courage and the nervousness and doubt in her chest gradually disappeared.
"I can do it," she said to herself.
