The crowd was stunned.
Despite knowing that Dreamland had to possess formidable military might to have survived so many years, they hadn’t expected this curvaceous woman who looked like a trophy wife to be this powerful.
She'd shattered the atmosphere with a single punch, revealing countless worlds in the universe. Her strength was top-notch even in the Myriad Worlds. Most experts of this caliber were famous kings in the Myriad Worlds, but who could this woman be?
The previously amused spectators were now horrified and grim. They wondered if they would meet the same fate as the hulking goat-horned man if they were faced with that punch, and their answer wasn't optimistic. Only a handful could remain composed.
Yani lazily eyed the crowd. “You’re welcome in Dreamland, but please don’t cause any trouble. We have fine wine for friends, but fists for enemies.”
She waved her fists intimidatingly, prompting many guests to retreat several steps for fear of ending up in the same plight as the hulking man.
Her threat worked, as the previously chaotic scene immediately became orderly. No one else dared to cause trouble.
Firework murmured in awe, “That woman is incredible. Big sister Xue, can she beat you?”
Tingxue didn’t respond, though her expression remained calm.
Firework had expected such a response, so she turned to Zu An and asked, “How many strikes of hers do you think you could withstand?”
Zu An shook his head. “I wouldn’t last even a single strike.”
“No, I’m sure you can handle her.” Firework enjoyed Zu An’s look of confusion as she gleefully continued, “Someone with as many wives as you is bound to be good at humoring women. Yani, as formidable as she is, is ultimately a woman. We’re counting on you to settle her, so we can have a smooth-sailing journey in Dreamland.”
Zu An was speechless.
“Why are you staring at me? If Yani were a dashing man, I’d have made a move.” Firework harrumphed.
Even Tingxue looked over. Zu An couldn’t be bothered to respond to Firework's nonsense, though.
Soon, it was their turn to register. As they handed their invitation letters over, they couldn’t help but be more awed by Yani’s incredible figure now that they were looking at her up close. She was very tall, standing at least at 1.9 meters, if not two meters.
Standing next to her, Firework looked like a potato. She was more beautiful, but height was a powerful weapon when two people were put in the same frame. Seemingly oblivious to this, she leaned over to Yani and asked, “Miss, do you have a boyfriend?”
“I don’t. Do you plan to introduce one to me?” After confirming their invitation letter, Yani dropped her frosty demeanor and responded to Firework’s question with a smile.
“What do you think about him? His heart fluttered earlier when he saw your earlier punch.” Firework dragged Zu An forward.
Zu An was speechless. What’s wrong with this woman?
Yani assessed Zu An. “He’s indeed dashing, but I’ll be too busy maintaining Dreamland’s order to date anyone.”
That was a subtle rejection, but Firework acted as if she didn’t get it. “Does that mean you’ll be keeping all of us safe?”
“Of course. We are obliged to ensure the safety of our guests,” Yani replied.
“That works! Look at how weak he is compared to the experts around us. It’s as if he'll disappear with a poof if someone tries to harm him. You should protect him at close range lest that happens,” Firework said.
The weird looks cast by the other guests made Zu An feel incredibly awkward. He quickly dragged Firework back and said, “Miss, please don’t mind her. My little sister is joking.”
But Yani chuckled. “I’m afraid that with the responsibilities I shoulder, I can’t protect you at close range, but you can take this. Press it if you’re in danger, and I’ll rush over right away.”
She handed a coinlike item into Zu An’s hand. It was a signal transmitter, and she would sense it if he pressed it.
Zu An wanted to say more, but Firework shoved him back and said, “Thank you, big sister Yani. My big brother will send you an invitation when you have more time.”
Zu An was speechless.
After they left, another bold customer tried the same method on Yani. Despite her ferocity, her figure was nothing short of incredible. Winning over an expert like her would be quite the thrill.
But Yani roared with a darkened expression, “Scram!”
“Right away!”
The other guests burst into laughter.
“Do you think anyone can pull off that move?”
“You should take a look in the mirror!”
A hotel staff member led Zu An’s group to their rooms. Firework had requested for them to be placed next to one another. Zu An’s room was in the middle, Tingxue's was on the left, and Firework's was to the right.
“Let’s head to the beach together after changing our clothes!” Firework told the other two before closing her door.
Zu An’s heart skipped a beat. He was indeed tempted.
Unfortunately, Tingxue responded by slamming her door shut. Zu An shrugged before closing his door too.
Despite being located next to one another, their rooms were 200-square-meter luxury villas. The floor-to-ceiling glass walls ensured that the room was well-lit while granting a good view of the scenery outside.
Profound spatial technology had been used to expand the rooms. They could have been bigger, but they were kept at their current size for maximum comfort, lest the emptiness feel jarring.
Zu An opened the cupboard and found all kinds of clothes inside. They were automatically adjusted to suit the guest’s size. It was also then that a voice recording played, informing him that he could request clothing of any style, and the hotel would tailor them on the spot and deliver them right away.
“As expected of Dreamland.” Zu An had no interest in clothes, but he could already imagine the neighboring Firework squealing in delight. He took some time exploring his room before lying on the bed, picking up an introduction booklet, and browsing through it.
A hologram was projected from the booklet, and it prompted him to select a language before introducing the room facilities to him. Zu An thought to himself that even imperial palaces weren’t as comfortable as this.
However, his attention was soon drawn to a specific function. The hotel provided a list of portraits of beauties to choose from if the guests were feeling lonely.
“These beauties are renowned celebrities in their respective worlds. They are contracted by Dreamland to fulfill your demands. You may view their holographic information and introduction by tapping their portrait.
“Once a beauty is chosen, we will send them to your room in the shortest time possible. There is no need to worry about a breach in privacy; they will not remember what happens in the room.
“Also, all expenses incurred within the hotel will be shouldered by Dreamland.”
