Previous day...
We reached home from the office and when we all settled to have dinner, dad praised me in front of everyone. He said, " I am proud of you Rohit you have really grown up. You worked really very hard. See your hard work has paid off so well. I am proud of you my son."
I was grinning like anything.
" Well, dad I would also like to say something... with your permission of course. " Bhai said.
Wow!! He is also going to praise me now... It is the best day of my life. Say it Bhai... I am eager to hear that.
" Yes, Rahul? "
" Dad Rohit has really done very well. I am also very proud of him and he is really grown up... " He said with a smirk on his face.

" But don't you think dad, that he is grown up?? " he said with a smile.

" What ?? Rohit is in love?? Awww.. who is the girl?? " Mom was overexcited while Priya was grinning and wiggling eyes at me.
Bhai smiled at mom and told her to relax.
" So dad, our Rohit is grown up... and he is already in love with someone. So I talked to her family and If it is ok with you, we can go for lunch at their place tomorrow. "
" Who is the girl Rahul? " Dad and mom asked together.
" Sia... " Bhai and Priya said together.
" Great!!! I like her. " Dad said.
" Wow!! She is very sweet.. "
" But, I am going to kill her, she didn't tell me anything. " Priya said with a big smile.
" Oh please Priya, don't kill her. Think of our poor Rohit. He might die as well. " Bhai said to tease me.
I was trying to hide my face but everyone was looking at me and smiling.
" You said you saw everything in the office, what did you see Rahul? " Priya asked.
Stupid girl... Bhai doesn't even dare to answer that. I glared at him but he started laughing.
" Nothing, nothing at all. Bhai is just kidding... Bhai you are funny... " He burst out laughing. Priya was looking at him with a raised eye and I know that he would tell her.
" Dad I know her brother, and we all know Sia. She is a very good and talented girl. So, do you think we should go there tomorrow??" He looked at all of them.
" Yes, call them right away." Mom was so happy. Bhai nodded and dialled the number.
" Hello, hi Sujoy... I just wanted to inform you that we all would like to come to your place tomorrow. My family is excited about this. So is it ok with your family? "
" Great!! 0k, sure we would love to have lunch with you all. So we will be there around 1:30 PM. Thanks, Sujoy..... Oh!!! You are going to keep it a secret?? Ok... I will tell Priya not to call her. Bye, see you tomorrow. "
" Done dad.. "
" Wow!! I am so excited. Ram, can we have a roka if everything goes well? "
" As you wish, ask Rohit. " Everyone looked at me and I nodded and Priya and mom seemed very excited.
Mom planned, what all she wanted to take with her.
Priya was overexcited and she kept teasing me along with Bhai. Mom and dad went to sleep early and Priya asked Bhai again what did he saw in the office?
" Bhai that's not fair yaar... " I glared at him.
" Rahul please, Tell me please," Priya said and smiled at him and my big brother told her right in front of me.
" Seriously?? You must be kidding. " She said looking at both of us.
" Ask him... " Bhai said.
" Rohit?? Did you kiss her? " She asked with her eyes as big as tennis balls.
" What is your problem ?? " I said in an irritated tone as I was getting embarrassed in front of Priya.
" And she didn't stop you?? " She asked.
" No, she was shocked. Enough of all this. " I said and then blushed a bit I got up and started going towards my room but Priya caught my hand again.
" What is the hurry Rohit?? Spend some time with us... Tell us more.. "
" I am sleepy. " I said.
" Ha ha ha... You won't be able to sleep now... So better sit here and tell us everything. Oh !! do you want to get lost in her thoughts...?? "
" Priya !!! L... Bhai, please ... Control her...what have you done to her?? Where is that shy Priya... " I said and they both laughed.
I came to my room. I was feeling very good and was extremely excited about the next day.

We reached their place and rang the doorbell. Sujoy opened the door and smiled, touched feet of my parents and shook hands with us. He patted on my shoulder and smiled lovingly at Priya.
We all came in and he made us sit in the living room. Their house was beautifully decorated. Her dad came and we all greeted each other. I touched his feet and he smiled and blessed me.
Sujoy and bhai made the introduction, while my eyes started looking for her.
" Whom are you looking for?? " Priya said teasing me.
" No one.. "
" Well, I am going to meet this no one." She said and went to meet her. I also wanted to go.
Everyone was talking when her mom also came and was surprised to see all of us. I touched her feet too. She was very happy to see me. Sujoy told her everything and she looked very happy and excited. They all greeted each other.
" Actually I wanted to keep it a secret so told only dad. As, If I had told mom, she would have gone crazy and must have made us also by now. "
" Sujoy....... should have told me. " She said to him. But he laughed.
Just then I saw that Priya pulled her towards all of us.
Mom was so happy to see her that she went near her and hugged her and then kissed on her forehead and made her sit beside her.
She looked at Priya, but Priya just shrugged. She looked at me through her eyelashes. I had to tell her parents about my feelings.
" Uncle, I need your permission to get married to Sia as I have fallen in love with her. " I said to her dad and was looking at him with anticipation.
He looked at me for a few seconds and then at his wife and son and finally Sia.
" Ok, young man, I permit you to marry my daughter.
" What?? " I was still looking at him with my mouth open. I was shocked, I thought that I would have to persuade him and Sujoy.
" He has given permission," Bhai said laughing.
" Oh... Yeah, thank you, Uncle. " I touched his feet again and he blessed me with a smile. "
" Mr Kapoor, I must say this young man is a gem of a person. I would have been a fool if I would say no to his request. I must say you have given very good values to your children. " uncle said and dad smiled. Everyone congratulated each other.
