Jackie was leaning against the wall on his left hand side with his hands around his chest. He wandered around the room and looked at Amy who was seated next to Anna's bed. He looked around the room with amazement.
"Jackie" Amy called by walking towards him which made him move away from the wall.
"Hmmm I" Jackie hummed by rubbing the back of his neck.
"Why are you looking around with surprise?''Amy asked, curling her eyebrows.
"Yeah this room looks different "
"Different! In what way?" Amy asked with a smile on her face.
"Ohh I've been in this room few months ago when my friend was here but now it looks different"
Amy raised her eyebrows and smiled.
Jackie inserted his four fingers in his jeans pocket ,he grinned and continued " This room looks messy than the way my friend kept it. "
Amy tapped his shoulder laughing and exited the room to go downstairs.
"Go in," She suggested.
Jackie walked towards the bed and a broad smile appeared on his face when he was near the bed. He raised an eyebrow by looking at Anna sleeping in a bizarre position. He walked further and sat on the stool which was next to the bed. He looked at Anna with a small smile where his cheek was not pushed up. He looked at her face scanning every single part. Then he moved his palm closer to hers and took his hand away as soon as he touched her skin when he heard someone clearing the throat. He got up from his seat immediately and turned towards the doorway to see who it was.
Jon and Bray were standing in the doorway almost covering the way in and out. Bray was leaning on the door and Jon was on his left keeping his arm on his shoulder.
"Awkward" Bray muttered in a funny voice which almost sounded like a girl.
Jackie walked towards them by lowering his gaze with humiliation.

After breakfast I went to grandpa's library cheerfully after a long nap for relaxation. I paused at the entrance of the library when I saw Jackie.
"Why the hell is he here ?"I questioned myself.
I walked into the library looking at him with wild eyes ,it was when I saw the book he was reading. I came here to read that book. I glared at him for a moment and walked because I got a response. I looked around the library but got no other book
to read and most of them were what I've already read. I came to the thought of reading that book and now I am not in the mood to read any other story. Then I decided to get the book, trying to be rigid.
I walked towards Jackie and sat on the chair which was opposite to him with another book which I've already. I don't know how the hell people read the same story again and again. After every sentence I took a look at Jackie too see whether he was done but he wasn't. He was holding the book with his right hand and his left hand was rested on his thighs where his left leg was over the right,his ankle was on his right knee.
Jackie noticed her but he pretended like he didn't.
It's been an hour and Jackie still didn't leave which made me feel drowsy because I was pretending to read. I tried my best to keep my eyes open but I couldn't control when darkness took control over me.
I opened my eyes and looked around by squeezing my eyes. Crappie! I slept. Yeah and where the hell is Jackie. I looked around curiously and when I was about to get up I saw a book on my lap. Anna you are stupid. You didn't know that the book was on your lap. I took the book immediately and saw the cover.
This book. Finally he's done reading,with a broad smile on my face I opened the book to read by resting my shoulders on the chair.
I walked downstairs after a couple of hours being in the library. Huge smile appeared on my face when I saw Jackie in the sitting room watching television. He was so interested that he didn't turn towards me when I sat on the other sofa. The room remained in silence for few minutes but I abruptly broke the silence by saying
"Thanks,''I said tenderly, not taking my gaze off the TV.
"Yeah!You are welcome ",Jackie replied by not taking his eyes away from the screen.
Oh God. Is that football so important to him that he doesn't even care to look at me when I say thank you?
"You read the book completely "Jackie continued without peeling his view from the TV.
"Yeah!"I answered cheerfully, turning towards him " what about you" I asked by looking at him.
"Nope" he replied still not looking at me.
""Why" I asked by raising my eyebrows.
Jackie immediately looked at me which made me move a few centimetres behind. He raised an eyebrow and smirked by saying "It is because you was waiting to read that book "
I curled my eyebrows and looked at him with a little sense of embarrassment. He never took his gaze away from me which made me feel awkward.
"Jackie you are supposed to look away from me and look at the television. "My subconscious uttered but I couldn't speak out.
"Amy" Jon called out loud from his room ,Jackie turned towards the TV quickly within seconds.
Amy instantly left grandpa's room and walked into her room.
"It's damn boring without you,"Jon said by running his fingers through his hair. "Come sit next to me and speak,"Jon suggested by patting the bed next to him.
"Come closer" Jon ordered by moving closer to her which made Amy turn red.

Jackie stood in front of the door.
"Knock" Jackie's subconscious commanded .
He stepped back and front again then he knocked at the door softly with a sigh. It was half past eleven and he was quite sure that she was asleep.
He knocked again a little harder when he got no response.
He knocked the third time and got no answer again. He moved his face closer to the door and whispered, calling "Anna "in a lengthy way. Jackie placed his palm around the knob and moved forward by rotating the door knob. It was then he realised that the door was not locked. He raised an eyebrow and slowly opened the door widely. He wandered inside by looking for Anna but she was not on the bed. He stepped in quietly and walked ahead to see Anna who was sleeping on the beam bag . He walked towards her without making a noise as a robber. Then he paused when he stood in front of her next to her toe. He moved his face close to hers and brushed her bangs off her face.
"You look spectacular when you are quiet ",he whispered, keeping his palm at the back of the bean bag and leaning forward towards her with a slight appealing smile on his face.
His face was a few inches away.
"You",he paused immediately when Anna opened her eyes. She looked into his eyes without a move.
"What are you doing here?" she asked softly almost like telling a secret.
"Looking at you" Jackie whispered.
"What ",Anna questioned by furrowing her eyebrows.
"I I" Jackie mumbled and stepped back when Anna moved to get up. He stayed at arms length and looked at Anna with an unreadable countenance. She brushed her hair off her face and glared at Jackie which made him look away.
"What the hell are you doing here?"Anna snapped by crushing the bottom of her t-shirt.
"Where is the letter?"Jackie questioned immediately after Anna's question.
"What letter?" she screeched, glaring at him.
"The piece of paper which was kept in that book"
"Which book"
"The book which grandpa bought recently. The book which you wanted to read so you pretended to read another book but you finally ...."
"Wait wait" Anna interrupted so he couldn't complete his sentence "I didn't see any paper "she snapped.
"Then where is it?"
"I don't know"
"What? "he curled his eyebrows and continued "Then you mean the paper eloped with his girlfriend"
"I didn't say that"Anna replied by moving her hand in the air.
Jackie paused with no answer.
"Did you check the book?" Anna questioned.
"Yeah"
"Then it wasn't there"
"Yup"
"Did you check in the library"
Jackie rubbed the back of his neck by looking around the surroundings except for Anna. She cleared her throat,he immediately looked at her with a slight smile on his face.
"Hmmm ohhh"
"You didn't "she completed the sentence for him.
"You want me check it"
Anna stared at him by crossing her arms on her chest. "Absolutely" she replied roughly.
"Alright, " Jackie said and walked towards the door.
"Stupid" Anna muttered and followed after him.
