"Alright," Anna said by rubbing her wet hair in front.
"Hmmm" Jackie moved forward and looked at her with a smirk. " How was the ice cream day cream?"He raised an eyebrow and looked at her for an answer.
"You know one thing?"Anna asked, pointing at his nose. "You are a jerk,"she snapped.
She walked forward quickly almost ran forward quickly because she didn't want Jacki to walk by her side.
"Anna,"Jackie called out aloud in the silend road which was a lane of shortcut. This lane is usually lonely and now because it was mid day it looks quieter than usual.
She just continued to walk quickly ignoring his call as she was leading the way.
"Anna I wanna talk ," Jackie screamed, stopping next to a lamppost.
"What," she paused and screamed without turning around.
"Give me a minute, "Jackie screamed from where he was standing.
Anna turned around and looked at Jackie who was standing a long distance away. She raised her eyebrows in surprise at her speed of walking.
"Yo Anna you are fast,"she complimented herself proudly.
"You come here. I won't walk down again,"she screamed by crossing her arms on her chest.
Jackie stood in front observing every single part in her face. A slight smile appeared on his lips when he spoke
"I want to speak,"he said, not taking his sight away from Anna.
"I heard that ,What do you want to talk about?,"she asked him by curling her eyebrows.
Jackie rubbed the back of his neck by looking around the silent street. He turned towards his left abruptly to see Anna but he was amazed when he didn't . He raised an eyebrow and turned around to see Anna who was leaning against a gate which belonged to a library. The library looks like an old mansion, it was not painted with bright colours whereas it was huge and spectacular.
Jackie's feet were facing Anna's where they were standing opposite to each other with some sort of closeness. He placed his palm on the gate which was over Anna's right shoulder.
He moved forward and popped a chain out from his right pocket. Looking into Anna's eyes he dropped the chain by holding the top where the chain was swinging slowly towards the right and left in front Anna's face. She looked at the chain for a moment and gazed back at Jackie who was observing every single part in her face in consideration.
The silver chain was thin where the curved was sparkling. A tiny heart pendant was hanging at the centre of the chain. The heart was small and whoopsie. There were two hearts attached to each other where the right side curved part of the first heart was below the left side curved part of the second heart. Furthermore,the heart was outlined with tiny white shining stones where the stones were twinkling and sparkling everytime it swung.
"It's for you, "he whispered, looking into her as he's lost.
Anna remained silent without giving out a word. She looked into his eyes without responding.
"Just keep it ,"he hissed.
"But why are you giving this to me" she asked softly by looking at him.
"Just...It can be for accepting to be my partner in the party or something else too,"
"What else?"
"Hmmm take it anyways. Alright I am giving this to you as a mini gift and I would forget to get you one before I fly in a couple of months. ,"he moved closer and continued "why can't I give you anything with no reasons? "
She looked at the chain and instantly grabbed it from his grip. She swooped towards her left and ran with the chain leaving Jackie to freeze. She paused and turned around to see Jackie who was still keeping his palm over the gate and leaning forward. Looking at the chain buried in her right palm,
"I'll keep it with me,"she shouted cheerfully which made Jackie to remove his hand off the gate and turn towards his right. He raised an eyebrow by carving his lips to a smile.
