Jackie's P.O.V
I carried her in bridal style after she dozed off. Walking towards my car I opened the front passenger seat door and placed her slowly on the seat. Closing the door I walked to my seat and glanced at her sleeping face. Moving forward by getting up a little from my seat I pulled the seat belt over her body and locked it. Looking at her closely there was only a few inches away from our skin to contact and I'm gonna break this inches one day, moving even closer. I kissed her forehead softly and got back to my seat.
Pulled up the break when I'm home I got out of the car and walked towards the other side.
The lights were switched off as mom is not their at home.Mom is not at home as she went with dad and she would be back after a week. Grandpa and grandma would be asleep by now.
I really miss Bray at this moment because if he was here right now he would be waiting outside to watch over.
Carrying Anna I walked towards the doorway. Before I knocked on the door the door parted open when Jon came into view.
"Everything alright,"he asked as he stepped back for me to get in.
Nodding my head with a hum I walked further as I climbed upstairs to Anna's room.
Kicking the door open I stepped in.Thank goodness the lights are switched on.
"You're a damn heavy girl," I uttered, looking at her face.
Her cheeks were stained with tears and I could see her eyes puffed. Maybe she didn't sleep for the last few days.
Walking in I placed her slowly on the bed. Pulling the duvet over her body I observed her every single feature. Placing my lips on her forehead I kissed her softly. She didn't even feel it I guess because she was in a deep slumber.
Standing straight I stepped behind to walk away but paused when I felt her. She held my hand which made me turn around and look at her in a flash.
A slight smile appeared on her face. I looked at her and her eyes were barely open.
"Don't leave me," she whispered when she held my palm tight as I stepped forward towards her.
"I won't, "I answered softly as I sat on the bed and placed her head on my lap.
Jon's P.O.V
"She is here," I inquired leaning against the door frame,looking at my wife seated on the bed. She has been upset from that day.
Glancing at me she smiled as she gestured for me to sit next to her.
Walking in I pulled her into a hug.
"She is fine," I informed as she let her tears out on my shoulders.
"I'm sorry, "she apologised softly.
"That's okay... speak to her dear," I said as I held tight in a hug.
"Hmn,"she buried herself in my chest.I just couldn't digest the fact that she lied to me. For this long I didn't know the truth of how my parents died. Why should she hide it from me? Even the pills ,she lied.
"
"How do you know," I asked curiously.
"The cop who was a friend of my uncle contacted me because he didn't have Anna's number as she changed it. He asked me something which I had no idea of , he was asking for HIS number, when HE called , what HE told and more. I didn't know who was that HE. So I asked him about it, he told me that my parents didn't die of an accident it was a murder.," she cried even more by crushing my t-shirt when she continued " and Anna was raped."
My eyes widened in astonishment where tears began to flood my eyes.
I couldn't believe what I heard.
"I didn't know anything. She hid it from me and I don't know why. I couldn't protect her," she cried as she hugged me tight.
"Shhh," I tried to calm her down.
Cupping her cheeks I looked into her eyes " she would have a reason for it," I said as I wiped her tears from the cheeks with my thumb.
After she dozed off I pulled the duvet over her and walked upstairs. Jackie's room was closed therefore I walked in the opposite direction. Walking into the open room I saw Jackie seated on the bed where his head was resting on the headboard and Anna was resting on his lap. A smile appeared on my face thinking of them.
Jackie was someone who doesn't move on with anyone except us. He was someone who was difficult to go on.I just couldn't believe that he changed so much. He changed since he saw her. He often smiled and laughed when he came back this time because the earlier times when he comes back for vacation it will be like only him and his room. He always gets drowned with thoughts of his parents that he doesn't chill up. But now he came over his thoughts without his realisation.
I remembered when he told me that he wanted to marry Anna because she was his light.
Walking into the room I switched off the light and closed the door slowly without making any sound.
Walking downstairs I went to sleep praying to god that everything is going to be fine.
