Turning around I glanced at him. The one who is surreal to my life. His hands were inserted in his jean's pocket. Staring at him with a bright smile on my face, I was examining his childish behaviour. He was looking at the ground by humming some music and kicking the dried dead leaves and branches which were covering the land.
"What?,"he shrugged his shoulders at me with raised eyebrows.
"Nothing,"I huffed and moved my head negatively and turned around to walk.
"Ohhhh,"he jumped next to me.
"You are afraid,"he said by pointing at me.
"No,"I snapped his finger and lowered my gaze to look at the ground.
"No fear when Jackie is here,"he stated by pointing his nose high in the air with pride.
"You know that the surrounding looks creepy as it is night and we are in the middle of the woods,"he continued.
"Ohh really,"I asked sarcastically as the sound of some animal echoed in the woods.
Jackie disappeared in a blink of an eye. I mean he was hiding behind a huge tree.
"I'm afraid,"I asked him pointing at myself as I burst into fits of laughter.
"Uurrghhh,"he groaned, rubbing the back of his neck looking at the ground.
"I just wanted to see if you are really afraid,"he lied by still looking at the ground.
Oh my this boy.He is cute anyways.
"I trust you,"I replied playfully but with a clear scent of sarcasm.
The cold breeze brushed over me sending shivers down my spine as I was only with a sweater.
I know it's a sweater but the material is kinda thin.
Rubbing my hands against each other to feel the warmth I looked at him as he spoke.
"You cold,"Jackie asked by walking towards me and paused in front of me.
Removing his coat he placed it over my shoulder revealing his black shirt.
"But your clothes are thin,"I complained, pointing at his shirt which made him look at his tshirt and then at me.
A gentle smile appeared on his face when I was about to take off the coat but was stopped by him. He held the coat in a way allowing me to wear on. Looking at him I moved my arms into the sleeves of his coat without any other word.
Shrugging his shoulders at me he went back inserting his palms into his pockets and walked forward leaving me mesmerised.
"You sure," I asked softly as I came out of my dream world, I hopped forward to meet his pace.
"Hmm,"he hummed as he took slow steps with me.
"Did Amy call you. Because I lost my phone and she would have called me many times as we are late;"I asked by walking next to him following his steps.
"Yes!Bray told her that we are having some time together at night in the woods. No worries,"he chuckled.
"Huh,you gotta be kidding me,"
"Nope,"he said, popping the letter 'p' "seriously."
"Alright, "I softly replied and looked at the ground.
"You okay,"he asked with concern which made me pause and he did as well.
Looking at him , a wide smile appeared on my lips.
"Yes;"I told him by showing my whole set of teeth.
Moving my hand upwards I cupped his cheeks and squeezed them where I could see a clear sense of astonishment in his eyes.
"You look cute when you are concerned,"I squeeled making him wide his eyes or would I say that his eyes almost came out of the sockets.
He looks adorable anyways. He is just something.
