"Forgive me lord, and make Elizabeth to forgive me too," Clinton mumbled his last prayers and shut his eyes as he waited to breathe his last.
Karen pulled the trigger. The bullet flew and pierced through Clinton's lap. He winced in pain as blood spattered on the floor and around him. He held the spot bleeding to prevent it from bleeding more.
"Boss, we are taking a lot of time, she can't even take a good shot," Bolly complained to their leader and shot a glare towards Karen for taking a wrong shot.
"I guess we have to finish up so we can leave here. Get the tools." he ordered collecting the gun from Karen.
Karen shivered fearfully and returned to where she sat earlier hoping that Clinton survived the gunshot.
But it seems that wasn't all the shot he would get as the masked men really wanted him dead just like they said.
The leader of masked men opened the case they came with that contained different kinds of metals for killing and torturing someone.
He took a syringe and drew into it a liquid and began to approach wounded Clinton.
"Told you we won't be leaving without you breathing your last," he taunted Clinton as he emptied the content in the syringe into his system.
No one in the room from the Smith's household had even a slight idea of what Clinton was administered. They all watched in silence.
Clinton groaned in pain as he felt the liquids drain into his system and began to mix with his blood.
While he was still in the pain of that one, the guy showed up with another syringe that contained another type of liquid.
Clinton was getting weak already but his eyes screamed for mercy. "Kill...me...already...and fuxking stop punishing me…" he struggled to say amidst the excruciating pain he felt all over. His body was almost losing its grip. He could not even feel his legs anymore. And that wasn't even all.
The leader of the masked men smiled mockingly at Clinton as he found a suitable spot to administer the drugs he held. He finally found one and emptied it into his body.
Clinton shook vigorously like one who is having epilepsy and was experiencing his seizure session.
It wasn't long before his eyes began to drop blood along his mouth and nose. He coughed dryly.
"Please end this, kill me you fool," Clinton yelled with all the remaining strength he had left of him.
He was slowly losing his breath coupled with the blood he was losing with time.
The men laughed at him as they watched him die slowly and painfully.
Elizabeth shed tears. He felt pity for Clinton. He maybe deserved to die but this slow painful death was just too harsh.
The leader of the masked men's phone rang that instant. He took it out from his pocket and picked it. The only words the people in the room heard him say was 'boss' 'yes boss' 'okay' 'right away sir'
But that was enough for them to know it was his boss, the one that sent him that called him.
"Guys, we need to leave now," he said to his men who began to arrange their tools and things.
"What should we do with them?" one of the men asked, pointing towards Karen and the others.
"Let them go except the one tied up. Drive them somewhere, anywhere," he said and continued to press his phone.
"Now you all move!"
Karen with the rest of the guards and housekeepers was dragged outside into a car while Elizabeth with an almost dead Clinton was left in the house.
Elizabeth watched as the men left the room. She wanted to plead for them to untie her but couldn't find the words. They left her alive even after she disobeyed. She didn't want her talking, bringing up their urge to kill her.
Once they left, she began to struggle to untie herself but the rope with which she was tied was so strong that she could do very little.
She was losing strength too and decided to try again after she had rested a little.
She looked at Clinton where he lay, blood all around him. She could feel him still alive even though it won't be long before he would die due to the blood he had lost and maybe from whatever they had injected into him. She felt genuinely pity for him. She wished she could help him. How was that possible when she can't even save herself.
She closed her eyes tight ready to give it another trial. If she doesn't untie herself before night, she might as well die of hunger and dehydration.
She pulled and pulled and struggled but the rope looked like it can't be moved.
"Aaaaaaaaaarhg!" Elizabeth screamed frustrated at the rope's resistance to untie.
Suddenly a thought entered into her. Good thing she wasn't handcuffed. She remembered she had a razor in her work clothes. She normally use it to do stuff around as she is on duty.
But there was a huge problem she would face. How to bring out the razor from her cloth.
It would be so hard but she decided to give it a try.
'There's no harm in trying' she said to herself wondering where she got all the strength from.
She started gently at first but forcefully inserted her hand into her pocket. Then she carefully pulled out the razor. "Oh, that was easy, I didn't know it would be."
After she successfully brought out the razor, she began to cut the rope but then the rope had a wider width and was thick.
Clinton started to breathe fast and was muttering incoherently.
Elizabeth increased her pace.
"Ouch!"
" Shit!"
"Awsh!"
She groaned in pain as the razor would prick and cut her fingers as she cut the rope aggressively.
But she didn't stop. She continued to cut the rope in pain but ignored the pain. She just wanted to free herself and go help Clinton.
She fell on the floor gasping for air as soon as she successfully cut the rope. Blood was gushing out from her hands. But that doesn't matter anymore.
She ran over to where Clinton was hoping he wasn't dead yet. She felt his pulse in fear hoping she wasn't late.
