The drunk Luo Xiaolei nibbled Yu Chen's skin as her lips travelled from his nape down to his collarbone. Her hot, burning tongue licked him and then sucked his skin even harder while Yu Chen just laid there, heaving, with his eyes shut close and biting his lips hard.
He looked like he was struggling to keep his hands to stay where they were. He felt intoxicated, like there was nothing he could do to stop her and he couldn't deny his desire of not wanting her to stop, despite all the warnings in his head.
Yu Chen didn't know that just by the touch of her lips, he would become completely powerless and utterly helpless. He wasn't ready at all for this and her mind blowing butterfly kisses made him even weaker than before. God only knew how many times he urged himself to push her away, but couldn't.
"Xiaolei…" he could only whisper between his deep, tempting moans. The girl stopped, as if she heard his words this time. Her lips halted below his collarbone without pulling away.
Yu Chen took a while to notice that Luo Xiaolei had stopped. He slowly opened his eyes. His throat was dry and he was drenched with sweat.
"Xiaolei?" he uttered, sounding so relieved and at the same time seemingly disappointed. He didn't know anymore.
But at that moment, Luo Xiaolei's face suddenly appeared in Yu Chen's head, smiling at him so brightly, causing the flaming desire in his heart to abruptly dissipate. But in the next second, he sulked, seemingly disappointed at himself for drowning in his desire despite knowing that Luo Xiaolei wasn't in her right mind at all.
Grabbing the opportunity, Yu Chen moved to sit up while Luo Xiaolei was still in a motionless state. However, just as he started pushing his body up, Luo Xiaolei suddenly pushed him back down, even grabbing his hands and placing them by his side.
Yu Chen's eyes turned wide as he looked at her. He could see her wet lips as she leaned in on him slowly, but Yu Chen was more determined this time. He never wanted to do anything that could hurt this person – he would rather hurt himself.
"Xiaolei… please. It's… it's already past midnight; you have to rest now." Yu Chen pleaded but as if his words landed on deaf ears, Luo Xiaolei showed no sign of letting go of him.
And then, all of a sudden…
"STRIP!" she commanded, causing Yu Chen to almost choke.
"This is getting in the way!" she complained as she started tugging Yu Chen's shirt.
Yu Chen almost lost himself again but his willpower this time was stronger; maybe because she had released him from her kisses, so he somehow managed to stand his ground.
His hand then moved and caught her wrists this time.
"Luo Xiaolei, please stop." Yu Chen tried persuading her again as he gently chained her wrists in his hands, when unexpectedly, Luo Xiaolei suddenly pouted.
"Why are you stopping me? Is it because you don't like me? You don't like me kissing you? Even though you seduced me first?! Is it because I'm not good enough?!" Luo Xiaolei yelled at him like a child throwing a tantrum. She even struggled to pull her hands off him.
And then, she cried.
Yu Chen immediately panicked as soon as he saw tears welling in her eyes. He felt his strength quickly return and he sat up effortlessly with her still straddling him.
"No, that's not it!" he protested. His voice burned with regret because he had made her cry.
"Please, that's not it, okay?" He sounded like he was begging and worried sick as his thumbs caressed her cheeks, wiping her tears away.
"Xiaolei, please don't cry… it's definitely not because I don't like you. It's not because you're not good enough… you don't know how much you're driving me insane right now!" he added, tapping his forehead on hers. Yu Chen looked like he could hardly handle the crying Luo Xiaolei as well. He felt as though he would break down if she continued crying like this.
"Then why are you stopping me?!" Luo Xiaolei yelled again, punching his chest to push him away. But Yu Chen didn't budge. Instead, he pulled her close and embraced her as tight as ever.
He buried Luo Xiaolei's face on his chest as he caressed her hair with all the gentleness in the world.
"You're so cruel Luo Xiaolei…" he uttered, his husky voice was deep and beautiful as he whispered in her ear. "How could you say that I don't like you? Can't you hear this thunderous sound? My chest is beating like this every single time I'm with you." Yu Chen had never spoke so emotionally like this before in his entire life. He didn't even think that one day, he would.
"You're telling me that you are not good enough? Can't you feel it touching you?" he added as his ears turned red. He buried his face on the nook of her neck as his voice slowly became weaker and somewhat, shy. "I've been… this… hard… since you kissed me…"
As Yu Chen turned even redder, his grip on her tightened. "I'm trying to stop you because I don't want to take advantage of you when you're in this state. Do you understand now?"
After those emotional words left Yu Chen's lips, the girl in his embrace seemed to have calmed down, so he slowly let go of her to look at her face.
Luo Xiaolei also stopped crying but there were still traces of tears on her face so Yu Chen started to gently wipe them away. "I would rather hurt myself than give you any reason to hate me. So please behave now, okay?" his voice was like melting honey, an archangel's lullaby, so pleasing that Luo Xiaolei felt like it was incense lulling her to sleep.
"Don't worry, you can always assault me once you're sober." He added and Luo Xiaolei finally gave in as her body went limp. She obediently nodded as she voluntarily buried her face at the nook of his neck.
"Mm… okay, once I'm sober, I will not leave a part of your body untouched. I will take all of your..." She muttered, and her body finally succumb to the calling of the god of sleep.
