The night was already deep and the simple birthday party had long ended. The few guests that came had already left the villa and the only ones left were the three couples, little Shin, and their numerous body guards.
However, at the veranda, the party hadn't ended yet. Davi, Hinari and Luo Xiaolei had begun singing altogether after they talked about every silly topic that popped in their heads. They were absolutely enjoying themselves; their laughter was loud and they were of course… very drunk.
The atmosphere was lively and their conversation kept on getting hyper as time went by. They absolutely made the rest of the night their own.
"Ddurududu… memories bring back memories bring back you!*" just as the three ladies' song ended, they raised their hands like they just won some jackpot. And then suddenly, they simultaneously turned towards their men, who were still sitting still across them all this time.
Sei, Zaki and Yu Chen were all sitting quietly, each watching their own woman and listening to their conversation which they could hardly understand. It almost looked like there were three perfect statues carved on the sofa, no, more like, three little serious-looking chibis were sitting there like obedient little pets, waiting for their masters to finally signal them that it's time for them to go home.
So when the ladies suddenly turned their gazes on them, the three quiet men looked at each other. It was because, for some unknown reason, the three ladies' gazes on them were sharp. Because of this, the words 'what happened? Why are they looking at us like this? Did you two did something wrong?' were flashing across their eyes, looking at each other accusingly.
While the men seemed like they were communicating at each other through telepathy, the three ladies suddenly spoke almost simultaneously.
Davi: "Darling! Why are you not clapping?!"
Hinari: "Beauty, my love! You should be clapping!"
Luo Xiaolei: "My big panda bun! Where's my round of applause?"
Sei, Zaki and Yu Chen: ". . ."
The men were obviously dumbstruck that they simply sat there blinking at them. No word came out of their mouths for a long while until the three ladies suddenly slammed their palms on the table.
Their unexpected action jolted the three chibi men and they all rose, stood up straight across them and then…
They gave the three ladies a standing ovation.
At that moment, a certain someone who had followed Juu and Kyuu to survey the entire area by climbing up to the roof had seen the entire event that had happened in the veranda. He was standing at the edge of the roof with Juu and Kyuu when he saw the three couples below. Of course, he started filming the entire event, grinning wide as always. However, the moment he watched that last scene where the three greatest men he had ever known suddenly stood up and gave their wives a standing ovation just because it seemed like the three ladies were upset about something made him laughed out loud he almost fell from the roof and died.
"Bwahahaha! Oh my god! I'm dying! Bahahaha! This is too much!" Gu Wei's laugh was so loud that the guards below all looked up. Of course, the bosses in the veranda also heard his laugh but they didn't care about it all. Their focus was all into their wives as they continued clapping.
Gu Wei: "My goodness!! Ahh… bahahaha, Juu, Kyuu, help me… I can't stop laughing! Hahaha."
Juu and Kyuu: ". . ."
Back in the veranda, the three men finally stopped clapping. Series of invisible sweat drops fell on their forehead upon realizing what they had been doing. However, when they saw that their wives face softened, as if their sharp gazes just now were just their imagination, they were instantly relieved.
"Aww… how sweet, come darling, hug me." Davi was the first to stand as she opened her arms wide for her Sei. Seeing that she was wobbling, Sei immediately stepped forward and caught his wife. He gently caged her in his embrace as he kissed her forehead. "Ahh… darling, the world is spinning, I feel like throwing up."
"You drink too much."
"But I didn't drink for a veryyyyyy long time."
"Mm, I know. Do you want to go to the bathroom?"
"No, I want to run with you. Let's run away Sei."

Sei then carried his wife and when the first couple were out of the veranda, Hinari started to sob.
"Wahh!! Beauty…" she suddenly cried, causing Zaki to immediately sat beside her and hugged her.
"What is it? Are you hurt somewhere?" Zaki asked worriedly but his wife shook her head.
"I'm not hurt… I just wanted to cry. Beauty, my love… can you please stop being sick? I will fast and pray for you no matter how long it would take." Hinari's tears were falling nonstop while Zaki embraced her tight. There was a faint glint of pain in his eyes but he still smiled as he coaxed his wife.
"Don't cry. I… I will get better, okay?" he said in a sad but hopeful tone as he kissed the tip of his wife's nose.
"Promise?"
". . . Mm. I won't give up. I will do everything to survive for you." Zaki whispered and Hinari finally smiled.
"Beauty… I love you… but I'm hungry. Can we go eat lots of cake?"
"O-of course."
Zaki then stood and carried his wife like a princess. He winked at Yu Chen and uttered a silent, 'the floor is yours' before finally leaving the veranda.
When Zaki's silhouette disappeared from Yu Chen's sight, he sighed twice. And then, his gaze fell on the girl before him. She looked extremely drunk. She was leaning back on the sofa with her eyes shut closed and strands of hair were scattered on her beautiful face.
Yu Chen thought that Luo Xiaolei was already asleep. It seemed like she was the type that instantly falls asleep when drunk. So, Yu Chen bent and he gently brushed the strands of hair away from her face. His gaze was incredibly gentle and his usually emotionless eyes started to dazzle as he stared at her.
After a moment, Yu Chen put his arm around Luo Xiaolei's waist to support her up. However, just as he was about to carry her, Luo Xiaolei's eyes suddenly opened and then…
